  1. Why is it, that despite every thread I see about WE OB GBB's they've swapped the barrel out for an RAT one, that it is damn near impossible to get hold of one of the stock WE ones -.-

I think VSR barrels are the same cut, I'd check before buying, but I bet someone's got a stock VSR barrel that's just been sat in a drawer for years.

I'm aware of that, and I have one, but no decent pipe cutters or anything to recrown one, which is going to be my last resort :)

  2. Not that it matters; All of the Amoeba's have a quick change spring arrangement on the gearbox. Its merely a case of removing the stock to access it.
  3. I think you might need to take it back, that sounds very much like their is a bare wire causing a short internally, the cable around the mosfet definitely shouldn't be worn on a new gun, especially with the thickness of the heatshrink G&G have adopted as of late.
  4. As soon as it reaches the UK, EMS is handed over to Parcelfarce to deliver...Just go with UPS, less hassle, and you won't have to deal with the extortionate handling fee for express parcels. Oh and UPS will deliver your item before charging you for customs VAT, whereas PF will hold the parcel ransom until you pay both the VAT and Handling Charge.
  5. That would more than likely compound the issue at hand, they are god awful uncomfortable to wear (or at least the MTB ones are)
  6. My supplier has only given me a vague "sometime next month" and no specific pricing, but if it follows the current curve with the other Amoeba's it will be between £180 and £250, wholly dependent on whether it comes with the programming doohickey.
  7. Not strictly true - And anyway, its only the airsoft community that have dubbed it as a honey badger, Ares are steering well clear of that cluster...
  8. The advantage of that rail is, you can change the arrangement of those panels to suit your taste, for example, I would move the front sight as far forward as possible, and probably ditch the underside rail and put one of the handstops about mid way along the underside.
  9. Will be getting hold of one of these to review for GGT next month, as soon as they land in the UK.
  10. As I mentioned to Monkey, if you need an overnight stop over point for sites up this way, you can always come say hi
  11. Hopefully more do actually sign up, not looking hopeful for the cut off point at the moment
  12. I know I could make that for less than £40. But £120? Jog on. But would I ever use it? Not a chance, would make you look like a right tit.
  13. Been there, done that - I had 2 lemon's in a row. 1 direct from STTS and the other through JD, so they are consistent in being unreliable at least. Sold them on, and just got more GBBR's to replace them
  14. Nope, those are junk. The bb follower snaps after about 10 reloads which causes them to jam. To unjam them you have to split them open to reset the spring, and to rebuild them would require a minimum of 5 hands.
  15. My last set of the Z-Tac Sordin's lasted 3 years, and a few hundred game days, and only broke because hungover me sat on them .

    E3 2014

Activision being behind it, all claims will be need to be taken with a pinch of salt. For example, up until 2 weeks ago WoW's next expansion was set to be released on 27th June, now the expected date is 20th December. (Great for those of us who preordered it in February, having completed all the raid content to heroic by the end of january.)

PC Master Race eh? Take it you won't mind not playing Destiny then? Only available on PS3, PS4, 360 and XBOne

It's a trade show for the games industry. So that statement is flawed. I suggest you google "What is E3?" if you believe otherwise.
  19. No they don't and schools don't do that, they purchase specific licenses for that purpose.
  20. Could've sworn there was another topic about this on here less than a fortnight ago
  21. This appears to be a rather large case of "Brown Tongue Syndrome".
  22. Betting on Massive Hype = Massive let down
  23. After Effects can be used through Creative Cloud I might add, and as you are a student (correct me if thats wrong) you can get the full CC Creative Suite for $23 a month. That quite frankly is nothing for what you get.
  24. Having to host pictures for a sales thread on the forum's own space seems rather counter intuitive. Especially, as up until now I've never had any issues with using Google Photo for hosting. Logic, there is none o.O

If you're not posting confidential images, to which you are not, I can't see the issue with imgur. You can still delete your images etc.

Anyway, the reason why it doesn't work is because there is no extension on the URL, so it looks like a page. Append .jpg (or if it was png .png etc) and it will work just fine.

Just as an aside, as far as the UK Govt is concerned, confidential no longer exists as a Classification. Random point I know...

Imgur was setup by a redditor for the purpose of serving stolen images without gaining consent of the original owner, even after an image is "deleted", they retain it on their servers for 6 months. Not to mention that their server reliability is pathetic. And I pay monthly for a larger data allowance for google services, so why should i ever want to use anything else? Google doesn't pre compress images before completing an upload, and all images they serve are gzipped.
