  1. If you ever fancy a Cold 1911 style pistol, avoid WE's 1911s at all costs. Other than that most brands bar VFC and Ares are OK.
  2. If I were you I'd just put a standard Wehrmacht officer's loadout together. Some units of the SS were responsible for running concentration camps, and so the SS has a massive stigma surrounding it. The Wehrmacht does not have this stigma as they were combat only, and so you won't have to worry about what others think. In fact, some members of the Wehrmacht saved jews and non-jews from the concentration camps- Anton Schmid, a sergeant in the army, helped about 250 Jewish men, women & children to escape from the Vilnius ghetto and also provided them with forged passports and documents. For this he was court martialled and executed. If you dressed as a standard German Army officer from WWII instead of as an SS officer, you can tell ignorant name callers about Anton Schmid and how he saved so many jews for his own sacrifice.
  3. Abbey Brut 'Sniper' gas is what I used in my old KJW M700, it gave some decent results in mild weather
  4. The standard G&G M14 can be used as a DMR out of the box, Airsoft_Ed's M14 was doing 390 out of the box. Apparently it was a really good shooter after he'd installed a tightbore and when using heavyweight ammunition.

    Getting a IF

IF = Imitation Firearm i.e. an airsoft gun that's had 51% of it painted in a bright colour such as green or orange. A parent or anyone over 18 can buy this without a UKARA Defence (NOT a LICENSE) and gift it to you. You cannot buy this yourself as airsoft guns are age restricted items. RIF = Realistic Imitation Firearm i.e. an airsoft gun which is completely black/dark green/tan, pretty much just realistic colours. Only people with a UKARA Defence or any other kind of valid defence can buy these. Again, they must be over 18 to meet the criteria for a UKARA Defence and to buy the gun itself.
  6. G&G Top Tech M4s are pretty nice.

    War Thunder

Just got into this after finding that my laptop can run it. Been playing for a couple of weeks and I really like the Japanese, Russian and British trees. Unlocked the Hurricane armed with 2 Vickers semi-automatic 40mm gun pods! Seriously good fun
  8. CYMA MP5s are pretty good, the one I had a few years ago was the dog's bollocks in regards to performance. Externals weren't the best but they weren't half bad either. It will most likely require a downgrade as it'll be way too hot for a CQB site. I don't know a great deal about the Classic Army MP5s, but a few people on here recommend them. As for the G&G GC-16, that's probably the main gun I'd suggest. If you find a sub carbine G&G M4, then you may find it easier for room clearance and tight spaces. This may be where the CYMA is better, but G&G internals tend to have better quality control.
  9. What specifically do you want to improve about you gun's performance? Range? Accuracy? Rate of fire? Most people will stay away from buying a second hand gun that's been upgraded by the previous owner. This is because a lot of the time people don't know what they're doing in regards to upgrading and most times mess the gun up badly. If you really want to shift it, why not just re-list it at a more reasonable price?
  10. Neither. Don't know where you got your info from mate but VFC internals are usually like Swiss Cheese. I've never heard of Krytac or anything about them, and I don't trust manufacturers which fall into that 'don't know' category.
  11. True camouflage isn't solely about the pattern you're wearing. You need to break up your shape as well. Adding long grass, twigs (ones with leaves on them are the best to use) as well as any other natural debris to your plate carrier and any headgear can really help in breaking up your shape. Some dyed burlap strips are also very useful. You have to remember that the effectiveness of your camouflage depends on the environment you're currently in. Lighter patterns like MTP are very useful in environments with lots of light colours, such as areas with very sandy soil and light coloured flora.
  12. Why not just get one with plastic furniture two toned and then replace it with wooden furniture after you've got a UKARA defence
  13. Paradise City & Welcome To The Jungle -Guns 'N Roses Fortunate Son -Creedence Clearwater Revival Purple Haze & All Along The Watchtower -Jimi Hendrix Gimme Shelter -The Rolling Stones Immigrant Song -Led Zeppelin Just some I think would be good along with those you've got in your playlist already. Personally enjoy listening to these artists as well, among others
  14. I tend to play with nothing much more than a micro chest rig and a dump pouch & holster on my belt. Maybe a speed loader if it's a longer game. I tried playing with umpteen pouches on an assault vest before, nowhere near as streamlined and light as my Mini MAV.
  15. Honestly it's not worth getting an airsoft version of the CheyTac M200. Big, expensive and the airsoft versions are made by some pretty poor manufacturers. TM VSR10 would be your best bet, with A&K sniper rifles such as their SVD and M24 in close second. Maybe a a Warrior L96 if you want to have a go at extensive upgrading.
  16. I use a 2 point on my M27. Very good for a fairly long gun.
  17. With the whole 'cheap gun redundant after buying expensive gun' argument, at that point OP could always use the cheap gun as a training gun for taking apart and servicing airsoft guns
  18. Depends on what aspect of your gun's performance you want to change.
  19. There aren't any VCRA compliant colours which can be even slightly dark, even blue is technically a no-no but lots of manufacturers and retailers get away with it. Just cover your gun up with removable camo tape before a skirmish and take it off afterwards, camo or sniper tape is a non-permanent modification, making it legal under the VCRA.
  20. I love my Mechanic Fastfits, they give you so much dexterity and freedom of movement- hand hits hurt quite a bit but they're only occasional
  21. Ultrafire torches with a Cree Q3 LED. Best torch I've ever had, found it in a pile of kit I was given a few years ago. I believe they go for £3 or so on Ebay and there are more powerful versions of it around for a little more.
  22. If you can get your hands on an A&K M24 or similar, that should be fine. Cleaning out the barrel and hop rubber as well as replacing the spring with a more powerful one would be fine. There will be no issues with slam firing as the sears A&K put into their rifles are very good quality from what I've heard. They also make fairly decent SVD replicas if you're interested in something a little different- you have a choice between the original 1963 design with fixed stock, or the '90s SVD-S paratrooper variant with a folding stock. By default they both have black polymer furniture however there are wood kits available for them if you're up for a little sanding and fitting.
  23. Concentrate on a rifle first, pistols aren't as necessary
