  1. I spat my cornflakes out when I saw that pic.
  2. Yeah, sometime in august might be ideal- or we could plan and prepare for a meet up next year and make sure we cover everything without rushing and missing stuff?
  3. Far as I know there was no need for insurance for my year's Prom afterparty, we only paid £10 each and that was towards portaloos and the cost of renting the field.
  4. Nope. UKARA covers purchase/sale/manufacture, not use or ownership. The regulars and marshals may be a little suspicious however, so don't tell them you don't have UKARA if you don't want to be treated like a shady character
  5. Is....is that a pink FMG???!!! Wut? That is looking epic, Mack. The optics look so much better than just a normal Spectre or ACOG!
  6. What I was thinking, we could sort it out with Dev and use the forum PayPal account to do payments meaning we don't have to faff around with cash. Maybe instead of renting a site we rent a field and do a little plinking, trading, any gun maintenance any members who are decent techs could do, and if the landowner agrees a BBQ and camping. TBH I don't see why they wouldn't, I recently went to an afterparty in a field usually used for livestock and the landowner was perfectly happy having 150+ teenagers there as long as we didn't take bottles, as broken glass could harm livestock. We could camp there too. I think this would be ideal, however if there's any sites centrally based which offer camping facilities and are open to renting both campsite and gamesite out, I don't see why not.
  7. I can remember crappy electric UZI RIFs being sold at toyshops local to me pre-UKARA
  8. Having a massive Madness revival with my windows open. My neighbours are complaining and I'm taking requests from the builders next door
  9. This has been floating round Imgur today on most US Independence Day posts. I've done my fair share of circulating it
  10. Hi Andy, if you're interested in upgrading that SVD drop Ian_Gere a PM. He's got his fully tweaked and performing quite well. Welcome back to the forums
  11. I saw a video from the US of a guy who made an airsoft artillery piece using HPA tanks and Nerf Vortexes. I'm sure it's transferrable if you keep a small HPA tank in the back of a rig/backpack and fit the system into an M2 style man portable system.
  12. Anyone doing a DayZ SA loadout can further it with the FNX45
  13. I own 4 and I've used them since October last year. 0 problems with all of them.
  14. It'd be pretty epic if you went into that level of detail- if you did a game without the locking boxes locked and it was pretty easy for the team detonating, you would have the option of making it more difficult for the team detonating by locking them and hiding the keys
  15. I had an IF that became less and less green every skirmish
  16. From my understanding, a PTW (Professional Training Weapon) is an airsoft gun specified for armed police and counter terrorist/urban warfare training, where assault rifles firing blank ammunition are impractical. They are made with high quality materials and real world tolerances- so any part of a real M4 that features on a PTW M4 will be the same dimensions as the real M4's. One of the external changes I know of from normal M4 AEGs is a thinner pistol grip to the dimensions of the real M4, as I believe the PTW's motor is thinner or set in a different location to a normal M4 AEG's. I've also heard of them simulating real world weapon stoppages which can only be cleared by carrying out real world stoppage drills. As well as this they have a functioning bolt stop which holds the bolt back when the magazine is empty. Idk much else about them really. The reason I'd choose a TM Recoil model over them is because you'd be spending less for a reliable brand, you get the nice recoil function (not sure if PTWs have this or not) you also get TM's legendary hop unit and godlike range as well as mags which can be switched from 30rnd capacity to 150 odd rnd capacity with the flick of a switch on the mag. I'd actually ask other members about TM Recoils if I was you, as only know what people have said about them- and I've only seen 1 in the flesh
  17. You'd be a fool to go for a PTW if you can't find a reliable dealership. A TM Recoil would be a much better option
  18. Yeah, having seen real steel muzzle flash and comparing it to that- it's even more like a kid's toy than it should be. Makes me think of this:
  19. Better to leave it in a normal car than a van.......thieves will be looking for power tools and similar equipment in vans, and when there's a van with over a grand's worth of contractor's equipment in the back they'll ignore a Toyota with potentially just a few CDs in it.....
  20. Lovely guns there Monty.....if I were you I'd find some paracord in a darker green and rewrap the AK74U's stock- it looks a little odd to me with the light green. Still nice though!
  21. Propane or no propane, you'll still have to maintain the working parts
  22. Welcome to the forums buddy. Ask us any questions, there are plenty of experienced players on the forum (myself omitted, what I'll say is usually wrong )
  23. G&G Combat Machine M4. Come in many iterations including dedicated CQB and long range styled models. Best place to buy: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/m4_and_m14_variants.html
