  1. I'll stick to my 0.30g for sniping thx
  2. You don't want to be using TM pistols on green gas in hot weather, the slide is plastic (unless you bought a replacement metal one?) and will probably break if you use it with GG in hot weather
  3. You could get them to ship to a forum member over here so they could ship to you?
  4. Pressure cannot be fixed unless you keep a compressor hooked up to the CO2 bulb. The CO2 was compressed into the bulb/canister and sealed upon filling during production. The first release will always be more powerful as the gas disperses for the first time, then the pressure within the bulb decreases as it empties over the next 20 shots or so. This means the FPS reduces as you repeatedly fire. In fact it does happen with normal gas guns. I've noticed the FPS reducing on my M700 after the 3rd mag on 1 fill of gas
  5. Just got myself a nice 'lil Gbase TD QD RIS foregrip for £16.50. Sweet
  6. With the WE guns there's gas and CO2 mags available- you have to change a small part on the gun itself for one which is stronger (comes with the CO2 mags I believe) but it's not a lot of hassle for systems flexibility
  7. It's part of a sling system- there's a fastex style buckle at the end of the RIS
  8. Not more powerful than CO2 though- CO2 operating weapons usually have an extremely high muzzle velocity, meaning they can't be used at sites in some cases; and even if you could somehow regulate the FPS with some sort of valve, sites still wouldn't let you use it, since it's CO2, and there is a large mistrust of CO2 weapons. TL;DR: CO2 weapons are not trusted by sites because they have a massive muzzle velocity, however they are good for target shooting
  9. And budget, too- you can get an SAAV or a cheapo Crossdraw-style vest for under £30, but the only viable MOLLE vests are over £50 and over £100 in some cases
  10. I don't see why putting a crane stock over your shoulder is standard practice- if you're trying to make the weapon shorter, fair enough; but the whole point of a crane stock is that it's easily adjustable.
  11. Instead of that ready 2tone pistol I'd get one sprayed. Reason being you can remove blue spray paint but you can't remove the colour from blue plastic. Other than that, all you'll need is a few bottles/bags of BBs. There's a few places that have deals on Blasters 0.20g bottles
  12. Try the 'professional' tube stuff, a mate of mine introduced it to me and I'm trying it out: bwcam3-web-tex-professional-face-paint.html
  13. Yeah, the cheapest cam cream is the issue stuff, and that shit gives you zits all over......
  14. There are for gas- KJW and Tanaka M700s and M24s have 2 different mag sizes with different sized gas reservoirs in 'em, and the fill nozzle located in different places.
  15. They don't chrono guns much at all at the U18 matches I frequently attend; sure there's people there who've never heard of internal upgrades, but there are a few who know their stuff as well as those from better off families who can afford better guns and such.
  16. Not necessarily If you've found a bit of kit that holds up like something £50 or so more expensive, kudos to you. You've beaten the people who shelled out the extra cash for a product which does the same job as something cheaper, but has a label
  17. That's because you want something with a quick burst capability and a medium caliber in that sort of environment for maximum penetration of undergrowth- US troops had issues on islands like Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal because the Thompson's .45 ACP round wasn't powerful enough to penetrate some undergrowth when firing on hidden MG nests and such. One of the reasons why the original M4 carbine was adopted with jungle warfare (among other factors) in mind; it had a short barrel for automatic rifles of the time and a 3 round burst, which was popular on the M16A2- as well as the 5.56 round which allowed moderate penetration
  18. I've had one of them in a previous AEG, the change was fairly noticeable. Just make sure you clean it OOTB!
  19. Anything TM. WE Gen4 Glocks as well. Some swear by the ASG/TM MK24 NBB as well.
  20. Don't bother with a sidearm. As you say, invest in extra mags and a way of carrying them.
  21. You could get the Flyye MBSS, fy-vt-m002-od-flyye-mbss-plate-carrier-olive-drab.html
  22. If you can afford it, Flyye. I have a Condor rig and I've used it for a few months- there's a couple of issues I have with the design (which led to me cutting a restrictive MOLLE loop) but on the whole it's ok.
  23. You can get a G&G Top Tech Gen 3 for cheaper than that CAA, and they're a trusted brand. I've browsed guns and been a regular skirmisher for almost 2 years now and I've never heard of CAA. If the stock, handguard and pistol grip are the attraction, I guarantee you that you can get them and a G&G Intermediate or Combat Machine M4 for cheaper than £299- which is pretty ridiculous for an M4 that isn't a G&P or TM. + the only AR-15 pattern weapon any UK force use is the LMT LM308MWS (British Army designation L129A1), and it's 7.62mm- plus you'd be looking at a fair price to get an SR-25 AEG looking anything like the L129A1 and performing like a DMR.
