  1. You have to qualify for a UKARA defence or similar defence to buy a realistic airsoft gun. You can legally buy a 2tone providing you are over 18 though.
  2. Maybe for you, but some people have to juggle mortgage/utility/grocery bills
  3. ^^^^^ I've played for a looong time but since I moved to Mac I haven't been able to. I found a brilliant emulator called PlayOnMac which allowed me to play it, so I've been reliving the old times recently Will post up a list of my tanks when I can remember them.
  4. You compensating for something, Monty?
  5. Could've been to do with the brand of mags they were
  6. I own a G&G Gen 2 TR16A2 'Light Carbine' (pretty much just a slightly shorter M4) and the G&G emag/pmag style mags fit and feed in it flawlessly. On other standard M4 style magwells they work as well, I've tested with a friend's G&P M4.
  7. It's one of their horrible red or blue Socom-16s, isn't it?
  8. I wouldn't even say that it's socially acceptable to sell issued kit you've acquired, it's effectively taking stuff taxpayers have had their money spent on and selling it for your own gain
  9. I'm pretty sure they aren't restricted items....there are UK retailers who sell body armour without any restrictions and I've read up on the subject on police forums. I'd say the only problem is that it's MoD property.
  10. Bad luck Monty if there is a chance you can continue though, I'd completely go for it
  11. Just seen some numpty try to sell a Dan Wesson air pistol on a Facebook swap/sales page

If it was that 10 shot revolver then it is actually airsoft...

Oh, must've been a different page then.

The one I saw fired .3s at 585fps lol.

Still 6mm though, so still airsoft.

  12. Yeah, most non-MacBook laptops tend to be pretty big. My MacBook's got a 13 inch screen and I prefer to keep it in a shock absorbing rubberised plastic case. With the specs Caliber mentioned, you can run a lot of stuff easily on medium settings- I know I can run Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, Insurgency and Ace of Spades, but idk about many others. (@caliber I've had difficulties using my laptop's touchpad for gaming as to do a right click you have to press down on the touchpad with both fingers. I bought myself a £10 wireless mouse off Amazon and I haven't looked back)
  13. I'm on Facebook groups for my site and wanted/swaps/sales page hosted by Ambush Adventures, the people who run all the sites local to me including a crapload of CQB places in Aldershot. It generally is filled with yanks attempting to buy stuff and get it imported over to the US and people who need educating on the VCRA and the defence system. One of the admins on there had to put up a lengthy post explaining that playing 1 game then trying to buy a RIF would be illegal for the seller. The page is extremely good in it's control of who can buy, anyone attempting to buy a RIF without a defence and without being over 18 is banned from the page. We do get the occasional idiot on there who can't use google for shit, but they're few and far between
  14. You can't buy it yourself, an over 18 carer has to. (tbh you've already got a decent rifle, i'd just invest in some decent kit and a full set of midcaps and wait a couple of years, saving for a nice rifle you can buy in RIF form)
  15. Not the best bit of kit as far as I've heard, but pretty good for £50. From what I've heard the Warrior Assault Systems carriers are far better despite being over £100.
  16. Chest rig, assault vest or plate carrier? http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mctmb4nx.html http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mctmb6ux.html http://www.military1st.co.uk/mcr7-008-condor-ronin-chest-rig-multicam.html
  17. First rig I had was a real steel Crossdraw assault vest I bought off a mate who'd been to Afghan with the Royal Marines. He got it off a contractor and I gave him £10 for it Later on I got myself a Tactical Tailor Mini MAV. Ridiculously lightweight and hi speed. Mine's in OD. Also got a Bulle Lightweight Chest Rig in tan for a different loadout. Great rig, used to be really good value but the main supplier (flecktarn.co.uk) jacked the price up from £25 to about £40.
  18. I usually get a lift from a mate and give him a lift on the way home. I'll be driving next year so I can go further afield than my local site.
  19. Yeah, they're only in use to replace the L96 in a DMR role. Dedicated snipers still use .338 Lapua rifles though.
  20. A hat, a balaclava, a shemagh- whatever you want
  21. Couldn't find any ESS however Smith Boogie Regulators are as good http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/asgep7nx.html These should be good too http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/steel_half_face_mesh_mask_black.html
  22. They're the same. CQC = Close Quarter Combat, CQB = Close Quarter Battle
