I can't recall the authors name but "Masters of War" is a good read. It's about the SAS, some real bone chilling stuff that I wouldn't suggest for those weak of stomach. No easing in period, straight into the nitty gritty, despite being a bit brutal in places it kept me hooked.

In a few years you'll look back at the wierd music you listened to and be like wtf was I doing. Prize example I used to listen to the parody songs like "hey mr taliban hand over bin laden". I heard a year seven singing it the other week when I was in sixthform and I just looked at him like he was a right wierdo. Then I remembered the exact same thing happened to me in year seven when I was showing a mate in on my phone To be fair it had just been released at the time. 7 years later, bin laden is dead and it's kind of lost any relevance...

I think my "citizenship" teacher tried to touch on it during year 10 but my class were so unruly he just gave up. Felt a bit sorry for him, his degree was actually in politics. I did a bit of As level politics last year. As a subject it's extremely interesting however a combination of a class of a 5 in which I was the only one answering questions/asked by the teacher everytime when the rest failed to attempt an answer and the fact the teacher could make anything on earth boring led to me dropping it. I did regret it later, even tried to pick it up as an extra As for this year but my form was conveniently lost and they forgot to add it onto my timetable. I still have my textbook though, worth reading through!

I'm looking to go. In the process of sorting out my Milsim kit. If I can get everything squared away in time and afford it I'll try my best to get there. What sides would people be looking to join? I like the look of the Airborne rangers, though I doubt I'm anywhere near fit enough for that yet.

Fingers crossed an airsoft manufacturer somewhere in Taiwan or HK will cotton on to this and make an airsoft version... If moulds are already in existence then it won't be too long before it happens.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility, is it? I'm not familiar with the Dan wesson platform but I am aware of "power down shells". Could these not be utilised in conjuction with a barrel conversion by a tech/machinist? Thought I'm unaware if that is bordering on being illegal due to our firearm laws
