  1. Jack, Just wanted to add a couple of things that hasn't been mentioned: Different weight BBs will fly differently so obviously zero with the BBs you're going to play with. And before you start adjusting your sights, get your hopup setting correct.

    Best bbs?

Has anyone used Elite Force BBs? What are they like?
  3. G&P are a very good M4 brand as well. But if it's between TM and G&P, then TM even though I've never owned one myself. Just so much good word of mouth around TMs in general.
  4. What's your budget? and what sort of sites will you be playing at? CQB or woodland?
  5. Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the Prometheus hop up Neo Strike chamber? One of these: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/prometheus-neo-metal-chamber-strike-chamber-set-for-marui-m16a2-m4a1-1.html#.VLMbCSusV8E I got my hands on one of these and I was wondering if anyone knew what the O-ring that it comes with is for (see picture in link above). I have managed to put everything together but I couldn't see where I should be putting the O-ring. Any ideas? Where the screw is meant to screw down to hold the final cog, I found that it didn't have any threading. Did anyone else find this? I used the screw from my existing hop up unit to twist in and create my own threading. Unfortunately I've now snapped the screw itself! Anyone know where I can get a replacement screw? I think I will have to drill the snapped end off somehow... Anyone with suggestions would be great! Thanks.
  6. I'm surprised no one has mentioned G&P. I own a G&P M4 Special Operations. Great out of the box. They have tonnes of M4 variants. Just note that all their guns are based on Deans connectors (which is a good thing).

    Screws

Thanks guys. I'll try Maplin first before going to eBay. Already tried B&Q and Halfords. I'll come back to let you know how I get on...

    Screws

I have a Classic Army M4 magazine and it is missing the screw that goes in the bottom of the mag. Anyone know where I can get one? I am also missing a small screw for the rear iron sight adjustment knob. I guess the question is, how can I identify what screws I am missing in general and how can I source them? Thanks!
  9. Just bare in mind that as you are reducing the inner barrel as well, you might need a new cylinder for your gearbox matched to the new inner barrel length.
  10. There's a ukara website where anyone can check a potential buyer's ukara status. Obviously, one can sell without checking and no one will know but if the buyer does something irresponsible, then I'm sure the police will be all over the seller as well.
  11. Hi inhen, I'm going to the Sandpit tomorrow with another forum member if you want to join. I don't know how far it is for you though...
  12. Never mind. We went ahead and met up and decided that we'll be going to the sandpit on Sunday? Fancy coming? I've hired a zip car for it.
  13. Awesome, see you there. I'll pm my mobile number to you. Anyone else fancy joining us?
  14. Any reason why you would go for the LCT over the G&G? The G&G has blowback which, although unnecessary, is quite a cool feature.
  15. I'm thinking of getting one of these: http://www.guay2.com/web/gt_product/rk47.php?lang=en http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318_403&products_id=6177 Does anyone have one? What do you think? I've been looking around for a decent AK and decided with this so far. Just wondered what people thought and if they would get a different make. Budget-wise, probably happy to spend as long as I get a decent gun out of the box and won't be needing to upgrade etc.
