  1. You can wrap wire round a pencil to make barbed wire, there's tutorials on YouTube
  2. Looks a good start mate! Maybe a fallen tree or two? and a few dead/cows or horses if you can get any. Maybe some MG nests at the front of the trenches?
  3. http://www.rsov.com/product.php?langId=1&currencyId=1&manufacturerId=10&prodId=3661&cateId=593 Extend the handguard and re work the lever and you'd have a look'alikey ?
  4. Wish G&P would hurry up and dispatch my order to Zeroone so they can send it to me. Got all the parts waiting for my L119 build and no bloody gun to put them on lol

  5. Now now Lads, here's not the place for politics and bickering. Let's keep the forum for airsoft and this thread for helping the OP with his questions. I'd suggest taking it over to PM if you wish to continue it any further. I have strong politics myself, not on this matter but I understand that everyone has a different opinion, and arguing about politics is pointless as no one wins.
  6. Thats a bit below the belt Finius. Edit : Added smiley so everyone know's I was making a joke.
  7. And she's not 22, she's one of those 50 year old Japanese women that looks 18. Why has it all been a lie Tariq!
  8. This is really far off yet, but if I was to look into producing M72a7 or a9 replica's that were affordable (definetately sub £200, hopely sub £150 if I can do it cheaply enough) and that possibly fired nerf footballs, would anyone be interested? I'll be casting one for myself but I can make more if theres an interest

The system I'm designing will allow you to use shower shells, fire nerfs or whatever you like from the barrel as it's all powered by a 203. The acm models are a bit wierd , a pain in the arse to reload and only fire these wierd pound shop esque foam rockets. They also don't look very realistic

I would personally prefer just a shell, extremely strong shell though, so that I could fit my own internals.

If you do make these and there is no risk of breaking if thrown from a second floor window, give me a shout, would quite happily put down a deposit.

I'll be making both shells and ready to use launchers eventually Geoffrey. I'm looking at Materials at the moment, I can't see me getting a finalised version ready for sale any time soon as I want to make everything perfect. I wouldn't put my name to something I wasn't proud to say I made or wouldn't be happy to pay for myself. It's going to be a long road of Prototypes, but I'm confident I'll make it happen.

  9. Tis a slippery slope Cav, that DCS will become and Osprey and your fast helmet will become a Mk6 dressed up as a mk7 in no time!
  10. The L129 is the sharpshooter Cav! until you mentioned it there I thought it was called that too, but I'm making a 16" L119 ( basically the UK's answer to the m4 which is used by pathfinders and UKSF etc.) Pics will definetly be posted up though, it'll be my pride and joy!
  11. Would you recommend the Motorolas Ian? Looking at picking up a cheap radio myself and been looking at Motorola TKLR's. I've just bought : 1 x l119 sling plate 1 x l119 butt stock pad 1 x l119 16" barrel set All from warlord Tactical, came to about £100 including postage, and theyve thrown in a free torch which is a nice touch. No idea what it looks like but always handy. 1 x G&P m4 RAS 6 position from Zeroone, waiting for it to be ordered in from G&P. Cost just shy of £300 including postage. and I've also picked up a car 15 stock on here, can anyone guess what I'm making?
  12. Anyone know if a Warlord Tactical l119 barrel set will fit a G&P M4 RAS 6 position? They think it may, but it's designed for the Marui and they are unsure if it will fit through the handguard.
  13. Ah now I remember, I had them in that little gap between the two guns.
  14. I've had that when I was much younger, is the back still open? I had the shells stood up by the gun ready to be loaded
  15. I can say the experience has put me off ever buying anything produced by airfix again, will be making a point to avoid anything they make even if it means going without something I need!
  16. I can't now thats why I had to start it. It's not "hard" you could have a child do it easilly, but to do it to any degree of decency is hard as what you're presented with is poorly cast crap that doesnt line up or is covered in flash lol. The MG's and mortars don't go on their bases and theres no instructions for them so they'll need to be jury rigged some how. I got halfway through a tank and gave up as it was so not interesting or enjoyable, I'm reluctant to re-visit it to be very honest. Gutted I spent the money on it!
  17. Bit the bullet and starting making that diabolical Airfix WW1 set because someone stepped on the box whilst I was out. My god its worse than I first though, even the tanks are badly done making them hard to glue together. The infantry, well I can't even consider looking at them all, I attempted the emplacements but they're proving nigh on impossible to figure out and assemble as none of the peg arrangements fit any of the holes in the bases (not that the pegs are long enough or the holes are wide enough)
  18. Pentagon assault packs any good? Looking at one as a cheap 3 day pack, UKtac stock them giving me confidence but the prices seem too good to be true.

What you going for Bino? I'm looking at the £45 quid one, I reckon that and a set of PLCE should easilly hold 3 days worth of gear.

      b1n0gHo5t

well i bought one for 50 Quid and well..it sucked the stitching fell apart

so i'm a bit wary on what to buy

will have a good hard think and get back to you all i know is its going to be all black & must be able to carry battle vest

  19. Do PRC 343's require a license or any of that stuff? Looking at buying my first radio and that would match my kit

Circa 70 quid on ebay with some going for double and treble that. I saw a radio minus attenna on its own for £40 was thinking of going for that. If they're really that cack I'll sacrifice accuracy and get something else hidden in an ammo pouch

at the end of the day, its your money and your load out. you may get away with it working some times but i would say if your going for a comms situation then its not very reliable. the problem you have as well is what sort of radios is the rest of your team gonna be using? VHF, UHF?? its a hard choice man, you will never get alot of distance out of a UHF, the PRR does have like 200+ channels so you are likely to connect to other UHF radios eventually. i wont tell you what to do but if your sp...

aye i get you mate, will likely go with a pmr type then for ease of use with ithers shame i cant be 100 percent accurate and practical.

  20. Picked the exact same thing up last night mate, thanks for the shout though! Wierd how two come up at the same time!
  21. So i've recently taken up shaving with a straight razor. First time I sliced my top lip, daren't not go near my throat after that. Wouldn't of known I'd cut myself if it wasn't for the blood the cut was so clean. 2nd time today, no blood, no cuts afaik but looked in the mirror 2 hours after, I've 4, "scratches" or cuts out of my throat, looks like I've tried to slice my own throat!

Respect Teddy! I always use a brush and a decent cream and wet shave, never had the b*ll*cks to try the old school straight razor on myself, but I had it done a couple of times in barbers shops, good effort mate!
