  1. Inforce WML, not really suitable for helmet mounting. Switch is a bit funky for that purpose.
  2. all G&G guns are CCW for reference.
  3. Out of production for years, there's probably a couple knocking around in Hong Kong stores, if you contact Keith at MLEMart.com he might be able to help find one for you.
  4. While you were undoubtedly in the wrong for leaving a magazine in the gun, the responsibility for anyone being hurt would always be with the person who pulled the trigger. Standard rules of firearms apply, always assume a gun is loaded until you have absolutely proved otherwise. Sadly a lot of airsoft players don't heed any kind of caution when handling their toys. Please don't take this as a dig, clearly you won't make the mistake again! This scenario is a good example of why some rules which seem like they might not apply to everyone really do apply to everyone. If the site rules state that you must clear your gun and remove magazines, it doesn't matter how safe you are... there's always the lowest common denominator that can f*ck everyone's day up
  5. Tie a loop of paracord through the hole and attach your sling to that. Common sense is dead.
  6. I use 11.1v LiPo exclusively, why cock around with 7.4 when you can have more oomph?
  7. Slow down there mate, they're just BB guns... it takes a LOT of force (more than 2.3j) to get through the carotid artery or the trachea, no way on earth could an airsoft gun cause a life threatening wound, if that were the case people wouldn't be allowed to shoot each other with them. MEDs are imposed by sites (not insurers) for the comfort of participants, not their safety.
  8. Had you ever done an error management or human factors course you'd realise that what 'actually happened' 99% of the time isn't relevant, what ACTUALLY happened and how the accident happened isn't that important either. It's preventing that from happening again in future. People cutting corners or not doing what they should is an organisational problem that is beholden upon everyone to report, lest someone get injured as a result of institutionalised negligence.
  9. Why would wearing a helmet make you look like a tit? Obviously there's exceptions... But there's exceptions the other way too:
  10. ESS will survive birdshot, the most powerful airsoft gun you've ever seen won't even mark the lens.
  11. I always wear my eye protection in the safe zone, can't trust people to not fuck around with their toys. http://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/crossbow-suppressor-one-glasses-clear-x1-lens-10302-p.asp those are the glasses I wear for everything but extremely close CQB, your mileage may vary but they fit my face great.
  12. Minimum 3 games in not less than 2 months. 8 games in not less than 2 months is as good as 3.
  13. To be fair, any decent set of military goggles will go round a helmet no problem, the straps are longer to allow you to do that.
  14. I've never seen anyone wear boogie regulators for more than one game, they fog like mad on EVERYONE because they're designed with vehicle/parachute operations in mind where there's a huge amount of air being forced into them. Can't recommend against them enough for airsoft.
  15. PTW finally came back from being fettled by Tackleberry, shoots like a dream, just gotta take it out for a play so if can get a bit dinged up now
  16. 'upgrades' normally aren't. People on the internet at 20m to the actual range of their gun, which they've judged by eye anyway.
  17. I carry a very basic first aid kit with me when I play (I have an IFAK on my kit... might as well use it!), saline for washing eyes if necessary, 2 israeli bandages, some sticky plasters, a tourniquet (you never know...), a small roll of gauze, and some zinc oxide tape. Covers all the injuries I'm competent to deal with myself in the short term ranging from a scuffed knee to an arterial bleed. Most of the likely first aid problems at an airsoft game just don't have a 'first aid' solution that you can easily carry around, heart attacks, sprains, broken bones, eye trauma... doesn't matter what kit you have to hand with a lot of those, it's going to be bad!
  18. Ahh I see, so it's only fun if you think it's 'cool enough'. Gotcha. Of course, one could argue that 5.5 posts a day on one forum for a year isn't conducive to 'getting out more'.
  19. I think that depends entirely upon perspective. The whole point of our 'skirmisher's defence' is that part of the requirement for the sport is suspension of disbelief, without real looking guns that disappears. Granted, all the Krytac guns look real enough to pass as maybe a civilian AR, but if you're into collecting replicas of military weapons then the krytac range don't fit the bill.
  20. HAHAHAHAHA, WTF is that?!
  21. pretty much everything prometheus make is an upgrade for most guns, it's all made in Japan in relatively low numbers from good materials. The exact opposite of 99% of chinese 'upgrade' parts.
