marui barrels are very good quality as far as stock barrels go, I don't expect that a madbull barrel will be better, but with the tighter bore you'll get an increase in FPS.

You can't find 134a anywhere in the EU, it's a horrible greenhouse gas. Abbey 144a is the legal replacement.

They clearly don't have a scooby-do! It's generally accepted that a wider bore is marginally more accurate (you're not going to notice the difference in reality) while a tighter bore increases FPS. I had the long version of the SCAR-L so I just swapped the stock 367mm barrel for a 363mm madbull one. The SCAR-H has a 300mm inner barrel and the cylinder will be matched to that length so I'd recommend sticking with it. Madbull Black Python 6.03mm barrels are the best price/performance available, but the absolute BEST inner barrels are prometheus (albeit at twice the cost!). If you're after getting close to 328fps bare in mind that not every site has a 100% accurate chrono and some will read high, so while your gun might be shooting 1J on the dot you may end up failing if their chrono reads high. I always like to have a bit of a buffer of 5-10% to account for this, as no site owner is going to take your word for it, they'll go off the little LCD screen on the back of their £30 madbull chrono.

OK, go back and read the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, I'm not sure which version you've been reading but you've clearly missed a few bits out. The only things specifically controlled by the act are sale, import and manufacture. In order to sell a RIF to someone you need to avail yourself of a defence against the VCRA, the person buying doesn't need a defence (they simply enable the seller to prove their defence), they're not committing a crime. Usually this is done by the seller checking the buyer's bona fides and satisfying themselves that the purchase is indeed for one of the permitted activities, UKARA is just a method of making that easier, nothing else. Import of a RIF can be done by anyone who can prove materially to customs and excise (more specifically the UKBA) that they are importing it for the purpose of one of the permitted activities. At this time the only method they accept is a site membership recorded on the UKARA database or membership of a recognised reenactment organisation (e.g. AFRA). Manufacture of a RIF is not controlled by age in any way (read the legislation, it just isn't), not only that, the conditions that need to be met in order to qualify for any of the specific defences (as detailed in Home Office circular 031 / 2007) are not quantified in the act itself. Personally, I would not manufacture a RIF unless I could materially prove that I am a regular skirmisher, be that with photographic evidence stretching back several years or by a phonecall to one of my local site's owners who would verify I am legit. The statement however that an under 18 cannot under any circumstances own a RIF is completely false, manufacture is an entirely legal way for an under 18 player to get themselves a RIF providing they are confident that their defence against prosecution would hold up under the kind of close scrutiny the CPS would put it under.

Are you serious? Literally 30 seconds of looking around that site will find you those things. Thisis a forum for advice and chat, not to spoonfeed people information they could find for themselves in seconds.

Chrono is normally done with a .20, though it's not really measuring the FPS of your gun, but the muzzle energy. A .20 going at 400fps has the same energy as a .30 doing 320fps. Using heavier ammo to reduce fps doesn't really work in real terms as while the muzzle velocity is definitely reduced, the muzzle energy remains constant; your slower moving .30g bb is actually more likely to cause injury than the fast moving .20 as a heavier bb retains it's energy in flight much better than a light one.

Chrono results are absolutely not a ballpark guide at most sites, they're often a very rigid stipulation in the site insurance! The G&G extreme CO2 pistols I'm sad to say shoot far too hot to skirmish with, the lowest I've ever seen one chrono with a .20g BB is 380fps, well above the limit for any site in the UK. The fact that a fresh bulb puts out over 900fps is worrying and pretty much guarantees that no site is gonna let you use it.
