  1. Safariland for M9s are cheap as chips on ebay, as long as you're using a light that's the same dimensions as a surefire x300/x200 you can pick one up for less than $60 from the states.
  2. No, but steady pressure on a primer won't ever cause it to go off, it needs to be a hard, sharp impact. You can crush primers in a vice and they'll just go flat.
  3. How do you think magazines for real guns work? Springs pushing against bullets!
  4. I'm not overly concerned about the looks, glocks fit my hand perfectly though and all the controls are within easy reach of my thumb. Helps also that the glock is also my work gun, but I had an airsoft glock long before the MoD got rid of the browning, so can't really put that in as a factor for what initially attracted me to the tupperware!
  5. If all else fails, send the lot to talking headsets and they'll do some expensive magic to make it work.
  6. Depends entirely on the spec of the PTT, if it's an amplified one then all you'll be able to transmit is very loud noise, if not it should work fine. That said, z-tac sordins are utterly rubbish and it's well worth spending the extra money for real ones.
  7. Anything in the last 10 years and you're gonna have to replace pretty much everything on your kit list.
  8. Px4 isn't correct for any UK unit at any time.
  9. Vision king short dots are pretty awesome, for the price I don't think there's a better option.
  10. L129A1 made by LMT. The AW50 is a lot more fun though!
  11. If it's the FMA holster for the MP7 I wouldn't trust it with a £300 gun, I have one and its very flimsy, feels like one good knock and the gun would just slide out.
  12. It's short and comfy, long grips get in the way on such a compact gun and most of the short ones like tangodown stubby etc aren't all that comfy because of the way they attach to the rail
  13. Take the green laser and put it in the bin, they're not eye safe by any stretch of the imagination. As for the pressure pads, electrical tape or rubber bands.
  14. Weird, did you buy it second hand then? TM only make them with the folding grip so someone must've modded it at some point. Since you've already got the rail on there I highly recommend a magpul RVG, it'll make holding it much more comfortable.
  15. I fixed one of my MP7 mags with some instant gasket maker, smeared on a load left it to dry for 24 hours with the rocket valve removed and it's been fine since. Only had one mag leak since I bought it in January 2013. Without doubt the TM MP7 is my best gun, for £300 it's range and accuracy are phenomenal. Gas wise I've been running it on dry propane, no added lube at all. Abbey maintenance gas for storage, I'm pretty sure that's what has kept it going. They're very low maintenance for a gas gun, I have only lubed the bolt once since I bought it and it's running just as well now as it did the day I got it. Externals wise there's not a lot you can do, FMA make a copy of the wilcox rail for it which replaces the folding foregrip with a bottom rail. Outside of that I recommend replacing the stock TM flash hider with the nineball steel one, it's a lot tougher and it looks much better than the shiny pot metal stock one. For a torch the element M300 looks nice, or an X300 but I don't think you can get a repro tail switch so you'd have to get a real one (which I heartily recommend, 500 real lumens is painfully bright!)
  16. In that case you need to ban ANYTHING big enough to contain a firearm, pencil cases included. Wouldn't ever be able to point anything at anyone ever again!
  17. as above, if you've got a UKARA number on the box it'll get through no problems... no number = problems.
  18. I was considering getting the VFC one to see if it's any better, decided against it in the end, there's so many pictures of guys with surefire M600 lights on their block2 guns that I went for that instead, much more robust and a shitload brighter!
  19. looks awesome Mack, how do you find the element M3X? mine was rubbish!
  20. Yeah, you need to depress the bolt catch manually.
  21. They do wear out, but it takes a long time and a lot of use. I've got a tenspeed MP7 pouch that I've been using for over 2 years now, the elastic round the very top is starting to look tatty but they still work fine, I reckon they've got another year or two left in them at least.
  22. Unless of course you want a pistol that'll shoot a consistent FPS regardless of temperature, then CO2 is a pretty good option. Had a go on a WE glock with CO2 mags a couple of months back, while not as snappy as a TM it had no trouble emptying a whole mag in 0C weather, I'm pretty sure it would have performed the same in -10C too.
  23. They make legit armour for the German military, high quality stuff but obviously quite heavy!

You do not require a defence to own a RIF and unless you are actively committing a crime with it (brandishing it in public etc) the police have no legal basis upon which to do anything about you owning one.
