If it’s FRV it will be more than adequate for the job. They don’t mess about and know exactly what they are doing.

I was using Abbey Predator Ultra in 1 degree temps the other day, this is similar to Nuprol 2.  I was only out for a few minutes so not enough time to cool the mags down, fuck being outside in that weather. It performed well, On full auto ROF obviously slowed down towards the end of the Mag.
 
I am new to the GBB game but I think Nuprol 2 is a relatively medium power Gas for 10+ degrees
If for some mad reason I was going to skirmish in weather colder than that, I would use Abbey Vertex or Nuprol 3,4

Yeah I opted against the split packages. Just seemed dodgy to me.
 
But I am a genuine Airsofter with proof of pat links to sites, sportsman’s, contact with new sites, existing RIFS
invoices on multiple Airsoft related products. 
anyway I will update when/if it all arrives

TM MWS sorry for that, Abbey 144a. As recommended by TM but Zero one recently were surprised and said use a stronger gas. So I have Abbey Predator Ultra gas coming soon. Think that should be similar to green gas

The angrygun one is a good replica and fits without modding. 
So the SL stock arrived. Marginally longer than the older models. Might get a K aswell to see how tight to the buffer..if it wobbles, its out.

I had police ask if they could speak to me. Because someone I used to associate with, who had seen the RIFs in my home had informed them that I had some kind of firearm. Two non armed police officers came to my door, no warrant, and politely explained and asked if they could see said firearm. Upon discovering it was a RIF they chuckled, had no further questions, didn't ask for a defence and simply left.

I would be interested in it as long as everyone is still aware it's just airsoft yano. Would feel silly to take it very very seriously but of course if there are left tactics you can transfer that would be cool.

Don't Spartan Airsoft have a training thing for AFO Police?

UKARA is there to support the retailers. And only the retailers.
 
I think the situation is somewhat different in the UK compared to Australia. We are allowed to own devices that can fire projectiles at relatively safe speeds (say, compared to airguns), it's the realistic shape and colour that causes the issue. If RIFs are banned, then Airsoft could continue with Nerf shaped/coloured guns as a hobby. Many would hate it and sack it off, but the basic gameplay concept could continue.

As far as I was aware by the writings of the VCRA there's nothing wrong with owning a RIF and you don't need a valid defence to own one. It is the sale and importing of them. 
Again could be wrong but I think the liability is also on the seller. So even if I didn't have insurance docs I think a police officer searching my home wouldn't have any grounds to ask for my defence.
 
Could totalllllly be wrong about this but that has always been my reading of the law.
 

Yep exactly, now I know I am a legit airsofter. And the pic was me at a game when I used to play more.
 
But to be honest I would totally understand if sites stopped accepting it. It is way too easy to get. But right now I didn't feel like I had an alternative. 

I have a "Just Cos" account. Cost me like £20 and ordered a RIF that day. It's accepted by more and more sites at the moment but for those who don't then I am considering Sportsmans association.

😂😂, Yeah I think it's worth it. It's not just a small flash on the end of the RIF, but it actually fills the space around the muzzle, epically if there's any gas or mist in the air.

I wonder how many other threads on an airsoft site have been taken over by gun control debates.

Doesn't really matter what we think it's probably only gonna get tighter so lets enjoy airlsoft while we can.
