      @strykerles no idea, when i saw it was shorter i just put it back in! Its a quick change so I'll whip it out and check when I'm not working.

      Not that I've seen. Well, I've looked at in stock ones in the rating that I want and they're all 172mm! Happy to be proven wrong though.

    Who's stupid idea was it to try to put my gearbox back together when getting up after being on nights, and being so cack handed that the anti reversal latch spring has flown off and disappeared off into the ether? Oh yeah, that'll be me!!!!!!!

      Ak2m4 has a gearbox set with one in for a few quid, so I'll be getting one if those shortly.

    Just had a play with my chrono and my pistol fps is all over the place! Do I need to do "warm up" shots or is it new hop rubber time?

      Thats a good point, there were a few shots that registered as shots but no reading showed.  I presume that waa picking up the gas?

      Didn't really put enough rounds through it. I'm working nights so it was only a quick 30 or so. I'll do some proper testing when I'm off but lower hop seemed to be wildy different and more hop seemed more consistent but much lower fps.

      Ill probably try .28s in it too.

      I did have a adjust it up and down. Down made it worse, up just dropped the fps.

    Educate yourselves airsofters.  The pith helmet is a summer essential.  Everyone should play in one.

     

    And don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes.
