@JevGen I have to agree with @MadMole, you need to be testing this gun at least 30M range to see quantifiable differences. It looks to be very consistent, unsurprisingly at 5m range. Load up with 0.2 BBs then set the hop to zero/minimum, fire into the wilderness and you should see the BB curve DOWN sharply. Gradually increase the hop and you should see the BB lift more and more.

What @Hamisakim said, and most importantly what do you want from your gun; CQB, field, DMR, stealth??? And lastly what is your play style? Hose spammer, considered, stealthy 1 shot 1 hit?

@Whereismyhammer have you put the gun back to stock and checked the fault is gone? Then add modifications one at a time.

I know @Wo1f & @Bada Bing and many others only run propane. It is perfectly safe for the MWS innards. As long as you don’t mind the smell 😁 @AlphaBear unless you are going through ridiculous amounts of ammo you do not need to add lube to the gas on the MWS. Rather as part of your maintenance routine re-grease the piston seal before or after every game day with quality silicone lube - EG TechT GunSav Decent lube will stay inside the nozzle/piston assy, so you do not need to compromise your bucking by contaminating it with excess airborne silicone. The pros and cons really only come down to cost and the fact you can run MaPP in the winter.

I personally can’t stand drop leg setups, even when they stay put vertically there’s too much mass rotationally if you’re active. Hip or rig mounted all the way 😎 TBH I only have the thigh strap for a more positive draw being kydex/snap retention.

Hey all, looking to get a new helmet, modern army styled, so FAST / Mich / Gentex etc. Of the replica minefield, can owner shed some light on which are decent quality for a rep, and a comfy fit for circa 58-60cm Im not planning on throwing loads of junk on it, but dont mind the rails being there. All i ask is that the helmet fits over my Comtacs. Had an FMA one before and it was flimsy and definitely did not "one size fits all". Loving my new holster setup, Kydex Customs mid drop, KC basic holster, DIY thigh strap. Access/pistol grip to draw is awesome, no flapping around even with full steel pistol, no chaffing from strap, and you can sit down without knowing there’s a pistol. Im sure many others have been and done this before, but to those who haven’t it’s a great setup.

Best solution (no pun intended) us submerse/soak in brake cleaner, periodically agitate with a stiff brush, nylon bristles or the like. Readily available from Euro Car Parts etc. You’ll need a 5ltr can, the aerosol is pants. If it’s been on a longggg time, you’ll need to ‘wake it up’ with some gun wash AKA 2k thinners - just be quick with it and rinse off with the brake cleaner. If you leave thinners on it will eat plastics/polymers. Brake cleaner is completely harmless. It will not affect texture or colour. Both are very flammable BTW.

Nothing is entirely necessary, it’s whatever your driven to do. There are plenty of airsofters that would happily build gearboxes from the cheapest parts and get great results, and then there’s the opposite end of the spectrum. A constant battle of opinions lol!

Yeh that will be a very perky battery! SHS gears, tappet plates etc are fine. Ive used the above parts so many times with excellent results I don’t use much in the way of SHS or ZCI any more. ICS Orange and Retro Arms are great mid range POM pistons. Im not a fan of full steel pistons, I like at least a 1/3 soft teeth so that if SHTF the damage is limited to a new piston and a gearbox clean out... as opposed to trashed gears, bearings and/or worse. Pretty much any gearbox shell can be made good, that’s down to the tech.
