@Adolf Hamster no need, @Sitting Duck writes the guide every time he posts 😘 I love how every time the ‘I want to put a new spring in’ spirals into full blown custom box

Yes this is most common fail, basically pneumatic lock “Seems like the hop might have caused a BB to jam than actual speed which resulted im PME piston shredding” One of the reasons 6.00 / 6.01 barrels are daft too. Dirty jam.

The Latest Bullpup Pre-order. Its Not the Silverback Mdr.

I completely agree, I don’t think they are THAT durable, but good enough for a stock ish 1J gun. Any POM half rack all day for me.

@miserydrift I would fit a similar plastic / metal teeth combo piston, BECAUSE if shit hits the fan, like it has for you, the damage is limited to just a new piston. If you run full metal teeth piston and what has happened to you happens again, you can break SO MUCH MORE! Soz @Sitting Duck 😁 On a budget get this piston and spring; https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/pistons/rocket-3-tooth-piston https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/springs/aols-aeg-spring-m100 If you want a stronger piston that is still a great fail safe, then get one of these; https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-reinforced-upgrade-pom-piston-set

The Latest Bullpup Pre-order. Its Not the Silverback Mdr.
Davegolf replied to Asomodai's topic in Latest News
I really like a bullpup, had a few ICS L85s which are excellent airsoft RIFs, AUGs and P90s. As I’ve progressed - 🤔 I think - there’s 4 reasons I don’t own a bullpup anymore; 1: I like to have my fore hand a half decent distance ahead of my trigger hand, supporting the gun weight, so my trigger hand is light / not tense. This is a problem because of the next 2 reasons. 2: Airsoft inner barrels really don’t need to be longer than 300mm 3: The length of pull is to long for anything other than shooting from prone, especially once your wearing a rig etc. Exception P90 - stonking CQB gun. 4: Triggers are generally pants. Off topic I suppose soz. Gat looks great though, wish they’d make a newer representation of the Tavor. AUG is the best. -

Is it Ethical to Use a Midget to Win a Skirmish?
Davegolf replied to Tabitha's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
@TheFull9 once upon a time I’d have agreed, but since the Americans fucked Cadburys the humble Mars is a benchmark these days God I miss proper Cadbury chocolate. And original Honey Nut Loops while we are here -

An Interesting Take From a 'Real Steel' Perspective
Davegolf replied to alxndrhll's topic in General Discussion
Yeh @alxndrhll they guy that came over from the Far East definitely opened some eyes to the merits of dry training / airsoft. Especially when most of Americans shoot the softest shooting rifles available on the planet! I enjoy Garand vids, this one is quite a laugh; They touch on the airsoft as a training option especially with the ammunition restrictions they had/have at the time. @Adolf Hamster couldn’t agree more with your review of airsoft reviews lol, I find myself scanning through, pausing and zooming in to try and get some of the useful info - how is that attached - how is that routed - what is the hopup like etc etc -
Is it Ethical to Use a Midget to Win a Skirmish?

Worked for me back in the Goldeneye 64 days 😁 -
Have any more FB groups etc been shut down? There seems to be an influx of newbs diluting the long standing threads with the lamest and lazy questions.
-
@Ewandarbz have you read any reviews or any of this thread!?!? In a nutshell the MWS or GHK M4 V2 series are the best GBBRs going in AR flavour. @RMDavis looking very nice! It is definitely nice to have a new optic, especially if spending out for a real steel one. Seeing as we can’t play anywhere hold out for a good used RS M4 or M2??
-
@JSwan looks 100% better sprayed up! 👍

Yes Rob! Old school/FSP build! I think an aimpoint M4s would be lovely if one can be found It’s annoying for me, I love the old skool setups, but the pistol grip angles kill my wrist 🙈

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Finally got my mid length Esstacs from ol’ USA And my Polarstar stock from the Netherlands 😁 -
@Shamal we are all (sadly) involved because we like to be tacticool one way or another 😁 That said it’s also very much about the competition and comradery, no different to someone who likes go-karting. Go-karting is great because everyone is in the same 125cc kart, there isn’t only one guy on the circuit that has a 250cc / Hozelock
-
Modern M4s are incredibly light, let alone toy ones, one of the many reasons they are so favoured and so popular to their own detriment 😂 @Hypnosis I didn’t like the upper lower separation / contact idea, and the little daffy bit behind the engine.
-
I don’t know what you mean there 👀😁 Seeing as your goal in this venture was to learn to tech, you kinda went backwards. First off use the standard tappet plate, nozzle, hop unit and bucking, this eliminates MANY variables. Below 230mm barrel length you’re going to want to be at least one spring power rating higher than the spring is advertised as. Next up as mentioned, you’re losing 15 FPS per SS tooth too. Personally I haven’t used that motor, and you haven’t said what battery your on - but you don’t normally need to short stroke with a ‘torque’ motor on 12:1 ratio. You say compression is excellent, is that to say the piston stops dead and rock hard a gnat’s cock past the cylinder port? Also as @Sitting Duck said, always check the piston is free when changing from standard, and “maths, suggestions & bollocks aside, you need to go back and check EVERYTHING very very closely”

What's the Most Efficient Stock GBB Pistol You've Used!
Davegolf replied to Lex Dangler's topic in Gas Guns
Co2 Shadow, 75 whole hearted shots - in the middle of winter 😁 -
There’s some good used MTWs on here to those interested. Ive been on the fence for a few weeks, the things that appealed to me where; - Stand-alone designed system - Everything is aligned properly - Co2 stock option - Mag empty detection - Milspec compatibility Thing that stopped me getting one; - M4 guise only (although nice) - Long winded to remove hop/barrel - electrical connections So like some other users have mentioned here I’m building up a custom Co2 ‘stocked’ gun.
