Thanks for the comments, if you are running a heavier buffer assembly you wouldn’t notice any further FPS increase from the HSB. This is because the buffers own extra mass is already seating the nozzle into the bucking better. The HSB will be doing a great job for reliability and shock management in your setup. As well as the obvious crisper semi action. I find a red dot is great out to 60M (with my non 20:20 vision) 😂

Assuming you mean the O ring holding the two halves of the hop unit together, it’s primary function is just that, and stability. No O rings should be soaked in silicone with the sole exception of gas magazines. I would just tickle the outer barrel window larger, so it has the same fit as the TM outer.

Same, i rifle right / pistol left. Its great because you can draw secondary whilst putting primary down I optimise my belt for pistol, and rig for rifle.

Honestly if you want a NGRS as a backup gun / or something with a little more fire power then all it needs is deans connectors, decent battery, Prommy 6.03.

As with everything in this world, there are 100 sub standard, disposable junk products produced for every decent one. Its no wonder theres so much land fill and material waste. TM are one of the few decent products for sure, enjoy your MWS!

When putting film on make sure the lens is as clean as possible, and apply it with a little very mild fairy water misted onto the film and lens. Then squigee it out, this will give the clearest view / best bond I know people worry, and it’s understandable with replica optics but don’t forget that the likes of Eotech etc are ballistics rated and will take ridiculous punishment, like 2M drops with the full weight of the gun above it - and keep zero, let alone not cracking the lens etc!

@RMDavis shes looking fine for sure, i think you need to weather the rest of it a bit, the 551 looks ace, looking a bit tired will only add to the authenticity of an 'older' build. Maybe some distressed / worn off FDE, residual in the creases of the reciever mouldings etc? The 551 should put up with BB joules no bother, i would get some 3M heli-tape and just put a layer on the front lens to take the sting out of a BB strike.
