  1. As you're new here, it may be worth addressing these questions/points so you don't get either bombarded with DMs that lead to nowhere or have people just walk away for a lack of clarity: 1) Do you do local pickup/meet only or do you offer postage in the within the UK? 2) Is the "free" CM16 in working order? 4 uses don't tell a fully story. I recently played alongside a fellow whose RIF stopped working the second time he fielded it. 3) Does the CM16 have its original flash hider or only the tracer in the photo? 4) What's the model of what looks like a 551 RDS? Does it have legitimate windage & elevation adjustment? 5) There are a few different models of GT in G&G's lineup. Are there more details on the left of the lower receiver? 6) Another picture with a note by the RIFs with your username and the current date would offer some peace of mind as you haven't built up feedback.
  2. It escapes me why anyone would pay that much for non-functioning RIFs with no idea of what's wrong with them. Unless you have spare parts to hand, it's probably less or the same price to just buy new with a warranty.
  3. Very good day at Redcon-2 for me yesterday. My body's paying for the full workout that my fitness tracker estimated burning more than 3k calories in running and walking.
  4. Do you have a close up of the lower receiver? It may give some idea of what the base RIF is but as others have said, being a custom build, it's going to be next to impossible to price without knowing which parts (internal in particular) are present and missing.
  5. Don't get me wrong. I personally don't give a monkey's about a scammer's privacy or protecting their personal info when they are bad actors. I just wouldn't want to see a forum or marketplace being stitched up on a technicality because some slimy ambulance chaser saw an opportunity to defend a scammer's "rights".
  6. I have to agree. They understand that GDPR isn't at stake when personally identifiable information is not being disclosed.
  7. I joined up to report the seller and the listings. I'd hate to see anyone fall victim to the scam.
  8. I called out the G&G CM18 on the FPS. I found no matches on Google or Tineye reverse image search but I'm still suspicious. The marketing blurb looks manually typed out and badly done. Unless G&G made a horrible typo of its own, I would assume the gearbox has 8mm bearings, not 8mm ball bearings. There are a lot of decent upgrades in that pic yet he hasn't specified them to try and make the listing look more attractive. For the price, it looks far too good to be true to me.
  9. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/two-tone-replicas/electric-powered_1/three-pre-two-toned-airsoft-guns_i50203 £150 for what looks like 3 cheap-ass two-tone guns. I would bet they're not even worth that much at retail. ____________________________ I assume they're specifically referring to Well's cheapo MP7. I don't think many people have a quarrel with the Umarex, WE or TM versions.
  10. Ah. I have a can of this as well and to be honest, I don't recall actually having seen the real thing at any retailer in person.
  11. Yeah, it looks like the DE M309 to me. He lists what looks like the same shotgun separately for £20. I thought you offered discounted prices on bulk sales? 😵
  12. https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/23790-various-airsoft-guns The seller is after £60 for a used CYMA CM.123 1911 AEP with a custom paint job but no close ups that give any good idea of the cosmetic condition of it or if the green and black paint would appeal to you. Alternatively you can pay £5 LESS for one in brand new condition and no concerns about a bad custom paint job. Tough choice!
  13. Assuming you want to store all your gear there, have you considered renting a self-storage unit?
  14. Seeing that you're looking around Herts and go to RIFT sites, I would recommend Airsoftmonkey https://airsoftmonkey.co.uk/contact
  15. I wonder why he doesn't just cut his losses as he is leaving the hobby and sell separately or at least in smaller bundles especially as the two AKs are boneyard. I don't see many people joining airsoft blowing a grand on a bundle with broken guns and uncleaned kit. Even fewer who are UKARA registered are going to pay for this when they can buy their own AK105, upgrade parts and have peace of mind that the damn thing actually works for a similar fee.
  16. The airsoft was very good and it the atmosphere was somewhat more engaging with the vehicles at our disposal though it is a site that allows vehicles to be used in relative safety. We couldn't get the helicopter on the Saturday as we didn't get the email from the MoD. If you like souvenirs or mementos, the armband and wristbands were yours to keep and included in the ticket price. If you were looking for bargains, there were quite a few to find. There were a some very reasonably priced used AEG and GBB/GnBB RIFs and plenty of accessories. There were a few complete HPA setups but some were so pricy that you were paying for the convenience as you could have sourced the parts yourself for not much more money though you may have some long lead times on some parts. There were a few retailers for new kit also (plus boneyard RIFs), White Sphere Tactical offered a one-off deal on the Vorsk VP-X for £60. The only concerns about camping were the fact that the Show Your Rift sales were open to Joe Public and not far from camping areas so you just had to be vigilant in keeping valuables out of sight and we were warned about that early on. It was more than an hour's drive for me but absolutely worth it.
  17. I took delivery of a Lanbaosi tactical long sleeve shirtas a base layer and got a Union Jack patch for the right upper arm pocket. I added a OneTigris FYR Tactical Vest along with a Viper double magazine pouch plus a Viper double pistol magazine pouch. I fed through a single point rifle strap.
  18. Hi everyone, I'm getting back into airsoft after more than 15 years away from the hobby, albeit having done the odd paintball match for stag dos or work socials during that hiatus but I have to call myself a noob again. Glad to see the community is friendly as I remembered it though I see much has changed both with defences required for RIFs (no dramas, 3 skirmishes in 59 days for a UKARA defence is hardly a pain) and how much more powerful and customisable airsoft guns have become. I sold most of my kit back in the day but held onto my KWC Walther P99, which still works 20 years on but that is so outclassed by today's options that I'll be getting something else soon as a sidearm to support the JG P90 AEG I bought a few weeks ago. There are a few locations in Herts and Beds I'm looking to attend for some skirmishes and get back into the swing of things though at the moment, I'm kitting myself back up. If I have any questions, I'll be sure to let you know. Cheers!
