  1. Ah. I have a can of this as well and to be honest, I don't recall actually having seen the real thing at any retailer in person.
  2. Yeah, it looks like the DE M309 to me. He lists what looks like the same shotgun separately for £20. I thought you offered discounted prices on bulk sales? 😵
  3. https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/23790-various-airsoft-guns The seller is after £60 for a used CYMA CM.123 1911 AEP with a custom paint job but no close ups that give any good idea of the cosmetic condition of it or if the green and black paint would appeal to you. Alternatively you can pay £5 LESS for one in brand new condition and no concerns about a bad custom paint job. Tough choice!
  4. Assuming you want to store all your gear there, have you considered renting a self-storage unit?
  5. Seeing that you're looking around Herts and go to RIFT sites, I would recommend Airsoftmonkey https://airsoftmonkey.co.uk/contact
  6. I wonder why he doesn't just cut his losses as he is leaving the hobby and sell separately or at least in smaller bundles especially as the two AKs are boneyard. I don't see many people joining airsoft blowing a grand on a bundle with broken guns and uncleaned kit. Even fewer who are UKARA registered are going to pay for this when they can buy their own AK105, upgrade parts and have peace of mind that the damn thing actually works for a similar fee.
  7. The airsoft was very good and it the atmosphere was somewhat more engaging with the vehicles at our disposal though it is a site that allows vehicles to be used in relative safety. We couldn't get the helicopter on the Saturday as we didn't get the email from the MoD. If you like souvenirs or mementos, the armband and wristbands were yours to keep and included in the ticket price. If you were looking for bargains, there were quite a few to find. There were a some very reasonably priced used AEG and GBB/GnBB RIFs and plenty of accessories. There were a few complete HPA setups but some were so pricy that you were paying for the convenience as you could have sourced the parts yourself for not much more money though you may have some long lead times on some parts. There were a few retailers for new kit also (plus boneyard RIFs), White Sphere Tactical offered a one-off deal on the Vorsk VP-X for £60. The only concerns about camping were the fact that the Show Your Rift sales were open to Joe Public and not far from camping areas so you just had to be vigilant in keeping valuables out of sight and we were warned about that early on. It was more than an hour's drive for me but absolutely worth it.
  8. I took delivery of a Lanbaosi tactical long sleeve shirtas a base layer and got a Union Jack patch for the right upper arm pocket. I added a OneTigris FYR Tactical Vest along with a Viper double magazine pouch plus a Viper double pistol magazine pouch. I fed through a single point rifle strap.
  9. Hi everyone, I'm getting back into airsoft after more than 15 years away from the hobby, albeit having done the odd paintball match for stag dos or work socials during that hiatus but I have to call myself a noob again. Glad to see the community is friendly as I remembered it though I see much has changed both with defences required for RIFs (no dramas, 3 skirmishes in 59 days for a UKARA defence is hardly a pain) and how much more powerful and customisable airsoft guns have become. I sold most of my kit back in the day but held onto my KWC Walther P99, which still works 20 years on but that is so outclassed by today's options that I'll be getting something else soon as a sidearm to support the JG P90 AEG I bought a few weeks ago. There are a few locations in Herts and Beds I'm looking to attend for some skirmishes and get back into the swing of things though at the moment, I'm kitting myself back up. If I have any questions, I'll be sure to let you know. Cheers!
