  1. They had so much stuff didn't they... but after scanning it all not a single thing floated my boat, there must be something wrong with me (plus a little bit of me is keeping a few pennies safe in case @ak2m4 sells his brushless motors).
  2. These guys are usually my "go to" place for random GBB pistol parts... https://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/ ... and I was hoping they'd have a WE part that you could but they don't. However maybe send them an e-mail as they may have something used in a parts bin they could sell you?
  3. Another vote here for Accu, also if you're buying from them they do a pistol grip sized screw that has a hex head so that you won't strip it so I'd buy a few of those as well (I'll try and find the part number from when I bought a few). Edit: The pistol grip screw is "Part No: SSBF-M3-6-A2-BL (M3 x 6mm Socket Flanged Button Screws (ISO 7380-2) - Black Stainless Steel (A2))"
  4. I've bought a few when I've needed to buy something that only BZ Tactical had in stock. No surprises with them, they work exactly as they should, however when a bag of ASG Cursed cost quite a bit less I'd not be going out of my way to buy them.
  5. Personally I'd pick the Blaster's, however if you'll be buying these online (rather than in a site shop) then ASG sell their "Cursed" BB range and they do a 0.28g in this (for example a 1kg bag of them from Patrol Base). My son, and myself occasionally, have been using Cursed 0.28g BB's for ages and they've always been faultless but they're so cheap if you buy them in bulk from Patrol Base (especially if you can save nay other purchases for the same time like some gas).
  6. That's one thing that's been on my list to try, not so much regarding air seal but vibration reduction / consistent inner barrel placement (to improve accuracy / consistency between shots). Do you do this yourself / any tips on it?
  7. @Liamcella96 With an inner barrel of that sort of length look at what people are doing with the G&G Firehawk. Stock this has a 120mm inner barrel, so to get any power from it as stock it also runs an M130 spring (it's the combination of the short inner barrel, strong spring and amplifier on the end that makes it so loud with a loud crack when firing). I've done a lot of work on my son's, which has now become his backup rifle, and with such a short barrel you'll only get genuine power increases with first the spring and then improving your air seal (however getting good improvements on your air seal costs money). Considering all the different inner barrels I've tried with the Firehawk I'd say that you'll want to buy both an M130 and M120 spring from https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/ to hit 1.14J (the M130 will take you very close to the limit, potentially even a little over). Also pulling such a strong spring you may want to consider, money permitting and what's already in the rifle, a full metal rack on the piston and a high torque motor.
  8. @Wavey_Gravey Ta, any idea why?
  9. The guy is also the owner of Bespoke Airsoft so use them as a means to get hold of him, also he has a YouTube channel.
  10. You need to read my post again you silly sausage as I said this 😛
  11. Personally it's the CTM all the way for me as you can mount absolutely anything you want on the AAP-01 and still use it (edit: even the foldable stock if you want, and I did this for a short while), plus it comes with included attachments for both belts and molle (however for molle you'll need a Malice clip). Two things to be aware of though are always use thread lock with its bolts so they don't work lose and it does not work with adjustable / speed triggers.
  12. A lot of airsoft retailers, UK and mainland Europe, seem to use DHL so it may be worthwhile checking if they can do it with insurance for you (for example Novritsch use DHL for RIF's shipped to the UK).
  13. I could be horribly wrong but isn't it the case that red tracers are not properly illuminated by all tracer units? If correct then that's the reason as why make a niche product for something that's inherently niche?
  14. Personally I'd say try the CTM Hi-Capa Holster... https://www.ctmtac.com/en/product/3 ... as these are designed to be used with pistols with all manner of attachments (their AAP-01 version is great). Also if you did buy one make sure to use thread lock on the bolts when you assemble it.
  15. The above pretty well describes my very local site that I play at quite often, Ironsight Airsoft in north west Hampshire, and there may be similarities between it and where you play. It's got a history of paintball as well so due to this has very good facilities for HPA, a powerful on-site compressor and multiple points to fill up tanks. If you're a site member you get free HPA refills, so this has led to a lot of people there using it for Airsoft. There's a sizeable group of "speedyboys" as well, so a lot of HPA users are using pistols and adapters. From the years of playing there I'm not sure I'd personally say that HPA is any more reliable, or a HPA RIF is "better" than a well setup AEG, however it can certainly be more convenient. For example no battery charging, the time it takes and associated risks, you just turn up and fill up your tanks and play (and if you're a site member, and have lots of tanks, you can fill them all up and quite a supply of them at home ready to go).
  16. Sometimes you've got to be both 😕 I think maybe my local site has been an influence on me with this, Ironsight Airsoft, which is a great mix of CQB and outdoors but with well balanced teams you can get horrible stalemates in the middle of the site. The only way to break them is to encourage people to make a bold move, I've been Major Move-Up sometimes (a horrible sight I expect as I'm not built for speed, I'm no Lighting McQueen), but like you said I try to lead by example (sometimes just being a stupid meat-shield can help the team push up a bit, walking back to respawn a little slower than usual once hit 😉).
  17. 100% this, but in the short time I've been playing airsoft I've come to understand how sometime stepping up and being the Shouty Sergeant is necessary otherwise people around you are just rabbits in headlights throwing plastic balls at each other with no effect. As a human being I try not to be an arsehole, not always succeeding, so I've learnt that in a skirmish being the Shouty Sergeant is best in short bursts and only a couple of times a day otherwise you will piss others off. (Probably the most regular thing I do is saying to others to make sure they shout out where they spot enemy players as it helps everyone)
  18. £99 for six seems like quite a competitive price, very interesting. I'm 50/50 though on if I'd miss the orange load indicator on the EPM1's, it's not that accurate but for me is a good guide for when they're almost full so I stop trying to grind even more BB's into them Personally my EPM1's have been faultless, however I use them primarily in my DMR so slow and steady shots on semi only.
  19. I can't remember the exact model but my son had a Cyma MOSFET AEP, with a 7.4v Li-Po, and it's the first and only airsoft RIF he's sold on (this was about two years ago). From the time you pull the trigger someone close enough could probably get a melee kill on you first with a rubber dagger it was that slow (It also weighed a ton and the pistol grip felt huge in your hand, it was a truly horribly thing when you compare it to any half decent green gas pistol)
  20. Personally I'd rather take this over the Lancer Tactical... https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/double-eagle-m904e-fire-control-system-edition?pv=15410 ... not that I've got anything against Lancer. The reason I'd chose the DE M904E is that the ETU in the Lancer uses a magnet in the sector gear to perform its cycle control, it's not optical like the Falcon in the DE M900's. If for any reason the sector gear in the Lancer get's damaged you'll have to make sure you buy one that has the same magnet present in it (it comes in a kit with the Zion ETU, but I've no idea if you can buy it separately (or remove the delayer to swap to a new gear).
  21. Another good option, but they're not cheap, is an ASG Scorpion Evo as they're compact and light.
  22. A good video came out on this a few days ago... https://youtu.be/lVakt4vEEqc?si=C0vK7tTk4hTi001F
  23. Or just press the "Home" button on your keyboard
  24. ( @Fatboy40 wonders if all site briefings involve jokes about peoples genitals and sex, or just the sites he goes to 🤔 A bit like... https://youtu.be/wcBOX1JBcjQ?si=nGZU6BeMA_jQGoul )
