  1. Give it a few years and possibly Shift Your Rift will be the better weekender, with all you have at NAF being YouTuber's and cheaters.

    Run cam 2 4k

    What's the focal length?
  3. Do you pick the teams on the day? (I think it's only the full milsim where you sign up to a specific team on the website at the time of purchase?)
  4. Think I'm gonna give this one a punt, especially as my son says he's a bit bored of standard skirmishes.
  5. I saw this on my Facebook feed, and I could swear that the the guy in the middle has been the head marshal sometimes at Camouflage Airsoft in Alton?
  6. The worst one for me, just because a marshal questions your hit taking you don't have to chest bump them and ask them to come out to the car park 🙄
  7. Found some really cheap 0.40g BB's, thought "wow" and bought 4,000 of them for the DMR. Now I have them I realise they're black 😢

it's fine, you just need to be really really confident in the consistency of your gun, the setting of your hop, the zeroing of your sights and the honesty of your target.......

one option is if you play night games then set them aside for that cos it won't matter in the dark.

Grey, brown or green ones are useless too.

  8. I got distracted buying a pistol speed loader and bought two CTM TAC Magazine Extension Plate's for my AAP-01... https://i.imgur.com/ESj7Kpy.jpg ... as I liked the thought of more gas in the mag and a few more BB's. Pretty simple to install... https://i.imgur.com/p712x6p.jpg ... and look good... https://i.imgur.com/DLW0z7y.jpg ... but don't work with the Action Army flared magwell which I had to remove As expected the extra gas made the pistol too hot and added around 0.17J over my usual power using Nuprol 3.0, all good though on Nuprol 2.0.
  9. I'm off work for a few days so the cutting wheel turned up today, and I shat my pants when the sparks started to fly from it cutting the spring 💩 🤣 (put on some gloves and safety glasses after that). @ak2m4 I cut just over a coil of an M130 to get my DMR to spot on 1.6J on 0.40g BB's.
  10. Ah well, there's goes more of my wages on Friday Thank you.
  11. ... which is a very good thing for them holding their shape / strength, but makes it impossible (at least for me) to cut off a coil. I bent the blades on a pair of snips and took all the teeth off a Dremel cutting wheel trying to do it 🤣 Unless @ak2m4 has a magic trick to doing it I'm stumped (looks like heat won't help as the cutting wheel got the spring lava hot).
  12. I very much doubt that this is related to your problems but using a "full" cylinder with a 300mm length inner barrel will mean that your RIF is waaaaaaaay over volumed (the volume of air pushed out by the piston. Google "airsoft over volume" as you may want to potentially consider changing it.
  13. You've missed a key point out from your post... what weight BB's are you using? (Just saying 250 FPS, with no context, doesn't help)
  14. It does sound like the spring to me unfortunately. You disassemble the spring mechanism to try and re-tension it, and it can also come lose in the centre so there's only enough tension for a few shots. They produce a replacement spring mechanism, I bought a few of them but they're so hard to buy, however they always ended up failing again. If you want to try and use a pistol as a primary weapon HPA and an M4 / MP5 magazine adapter is the only reliable solution.
  15. I can't remember if this is mine or someone else's Google Drive... https://drive.google.com/file/d/15npk1PM_xZuPK7iq8uv-6dGuvi2mqTRz/view?fbclid=IwAR36uGD575BIxHxZKdy7LmaixHZqAnEkjojmOEYP0qmlT1cwm7wIkB2IM38 ... but hopefully you can view it (ignore that the mag adapter on the top is not a Glock style). In the end I got rid of my one, which I used with an AAP-01, as it was just so bloody unreliable with the spring always failing.
  16. Roll the dice and let us know 😆 Seriously though, after buying an AK2M4 brushless and the Falcon controller telling it to ef off (it's now in my MP5K and the trigger response on 7.4v is instant), I want to get a Warhead Base and try it. I'm hoping that the firmware in their speed controller has something magical, but if not there are other plastic ball shooting toys I can put it in.
  17. All the way from Slovakia a selection of Snipetor R Hop patches... https://i.imgur.com/r1bAZwL.jpg ... and a bonus Wikipedia page for the lady on the stamp... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krista_Bendová
  18. If there's enough time for the delivery, and you don't mind a slight change, Warhead Industries do 0.32 and 0.43 bios which you can trust.
  19. I'm wondering if the T238 being shorter is potentially a positive, if not too short, considering the end bell on brushless motors seem to foul up on pistol grip end plates? I suppose almost all RIF's are designed with brushed motors so play to that.
  20. I've tried to resist buying a Warhead specific motor, but I've a feeling that their firmware is somewhat more advanced than some other vendors and it's designed to play better with controllers / ETU's (it would be a Base, plus I want to compare its behaviour against the ak2m4 one when used with a Double Eagle Falcon controller).
  21. Maybe I should have said that what I meant was every man and his dog is now selling brushless motors, even the traditionally cheapo Chinese manufacturers. They can't all have production lines and tooling setup to make them, unless some are drastically cutting corners (which looking at the Chaoli PCB is a possibility).
  22. Something interesting is that bargain basement Chinese motor manufacturer Chaoli is also now selling brushless motors. Maybe this is one for @ak2m4 but I'm assuming, like a lot of electronics, there may only be a few genuine manufacturers of brushless motors and a lot of what we see is from the same sources with different branding applied? (the products from many vendors look identical, just with different colour anodising / logo's applied).
  23. The "additional plates" are so that you can mount it on molle using a "malice clip" (which is how I mount mine to a battle belt). CTM TAC have a YouTube channel that shows you how to do this.
  24. Maybe Socom Tactical or Surplus Store? (Also a bit of dirt or grease on the sector gear optical sensors can throw them out)
  25. If anything shorter, in that it's highly likely that the nozzle is ever so slightly too long for the hop unit so when pulled back a BB cannot always enter it (especially if you're firing rapidly). Vernier callipers and a selection of nozzles in your own "airsoft parts bin" always helps
