Also I can see untrained randoms putting folk in proper tourniquets could cause liability issues.

Surely it should be what airsoft stuff is useful in everyday life? -

Galaxy MP5K ‘death machine’ conversion and holster setup?
Cannonfodder replied to Halo's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Years ago I knocked this up out of an old taser holster. I cut the back section out, removed the foam inside and ran the strap through the belt attachment. It held the gun secure, but reholstering it was nowhere near quick. Unfortunately a few hours after this was taken I went arse over tit and landed on the gun knackering it and only got round to replacing it a few months ago -
Golden Eagle Gas Shotgun any good?
Cannonfodder replied to GothicGhost's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I've got the short version with wood furniture. I haven't managed to use it much but when I have I had no major problems. The only issue I had was that the gas tank in the pistol grip is quite small so would only last for about 3 and a half shells before running dry. I didn't test the max range but I found the spread to be roughly the width of a plastic garden chair at about 30ft on green gas and firing .25g bbs -
But you're our kind of fuckwit Oops, that was supposed to be 48k. Still, a quick google search shows them going for £100 to £500 depending on the condition
-
You can get a pill for that ? Amiga and C64s? Meh, I'm sure I've still got a couple of commodore vic20s and a spectrum 18k in the loft at my parents house

If that happened when I was there It'd be my last visit. Making a big point about NDs then not acting on it when another happens is 100% on the site, it also makes me wonder what else they would let players get away with.

Zero one is down? I suppose the one good thing about that place is that it keeps the fuckwits away from here

Best way in the UK to purchase a neat tactical outfit?
Cannonfodder replied to ModernTimes's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
The thing is whether or not something looks good is personal. To use your example of cars, some might think this looks good but personally I think it looks like a polished turd Pick your kit based on what YOU like, not what others think is "cool". If others don't like your kit then that's their problem Yes we are. My point is that, when it comes to loadouts, the only person who's opinion matters is the person wearing it. Chasing likes on social media is going to leave you with an impractical loadout which will affect your enjoyment of the game -
Transition from S95 DPM to BTP / MTP

Good field craft and crap camo trumps poor field craft and the best camo every day of the week. -
Best way in the UK to purchase a neat tactical outfit?
Cannonfodder replied to ModernTimes's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Why, are you playing for your enjoyment or for the approval of others? As posted above, concentrating on practical kit rather posing bullshit will give you a better experience in game -

Looking for a strobe light for CQB

Concerns about the potential life threatening effects of a seizure is hardly crying If you don't want to be called a dick then don't act like one -

Tokyo Marui, are they always a safe bet?
Cannonfodder replied to TheFriendlyBro's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Don't think metal body=better. The better plastic guns can still handle rough treatment of a game and cheap pot metal easily breaks. Also the weight difference can really make a difference towards the end of the day -
Wasn't there an incident years ago where someone had been using glass bbs and some vehicles ended up with broken windscreens? IIRC for ages afterwards the forums were full of debates about how dangerous they were Edit: it was bioval bbb max

Glad I've found this thread as I'm planning on going to a night game there next month. Would you say a weapon light is essential or just recommended?

My Tokyo Marui SPAS-12 shotgun has arrived!
Cannonfodder replied to TheFriendlyBro's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
@EDcase that's a pretty good match, had me fooled till I read the post, imo it just needs the hook to finish the look. I really like the SPAS but find spring shorties underwhelming. Why TM haven’t made a gas SPAS12 yet is a mystery to me. -

Posting the pic would help. Also bear in mind that some of the real kit can be expensive -
Tokyo Marui, are they always a safe bet?
Cannonfodder replied to TheFriendlyBro's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
In the past they were the go to brand for reliability, but fortunately for us poors the ACM manufacturers have upped their game in terms of qc. I agree their gas guns are great, but some models can have issues (I'm looking at you FN57 and R870) -
Depending what it's a replica of, you could try reenactment groups or forums. A picture of it might help
-
Thanks. I knew it was somewhere around there, just wasn't sure of the exact figure and Google wasn't helping

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Cannonfodder replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Not the usual fare for Mack's, but something tells me he might be waiting a while for a working PEQ box at that price https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/22587-looking-for-a-peq10-or-small-working-peq-box/
