  1. Interesting that they don't stipulate every game day as a well meaning player could be using a hot gun without realising. For example a gbb rif firing at just below the site limit on cooler day could easily become a hot gun in warmer days (or even in the few hours between chrono in the morning and lunchtime. Also I had a Chinese ak which somehow jumped up by 30fps after about 6 months use with no work done to it
  2. Going to a pub or nightclub to get pissed is a choice, whereas living in care usually isn't.
  3. So your source is a YouTube video? 😂😂😂 Try again I need a good laugh Says the one complaining about "personal attacks" So they should be. Care workers are generally looking after the more vulnerable members of society and by refusing to be vaccinated are placing those in their care at greater risk. Nightclubs etc also have a duty of care towards their staff
  4. Looks good Here's a thought. With all the sites that have closed in the last year, there's probably quite a lot of long time players who now don't have site membership. I wonder if this is pushing impatient players to buy a defence and retailers to be a bit more open to other defences. I'm not saying it's OK, just that it might be a factor
  5. Apocalypse at Royston have their first game of the year on the 2nd
  6. All the data shows that vaccines work to reduce the risk of infection and transmission of the virus. Does it give 100% protection? No but it significantly reduces the chance of infection and if you do get infected the chances of being hospitalised are far lower. All I'm hearing from the anti vaxx crowd is that it's a attack on their freedoms and other such nonsense. Nobody is being descriminated against or rounded up and its worth remembering that your rights end when your actions affect others.
  7. When the anti maskers/vaxxers compare their choices to the murder of 6 million people I'll give them the respect they deserve
  8. I got my Golden Eagle gas boomstick from them earlier this year and had no problems. One thing to take into account with reviews is that a happy customer will tell one person, whereas an unhappy one will tell 10.
  9. I take it that was an over 18s only event? If not the organisers could've got themselves in serious trouble with child protection laws Gimmicks like some bint getting her tits out make me wonder how good the site actually is if they have to use cheap stunts like this to pull in the punters. Concentrate on making sure the games are well run and you'll get players wanting to come back.
  10. This. Your analogy with Spanish flu was a good one. The pandemic of 1918 was H1N1, the same as the 2009 swine flu pandemic which killed an estimated 284000 globally It's the anti vaxxers and tin foil hat brigade causing this to go on longer. If you look in ICU wards it's the unvaccinated who are filling up the beds and mortuarys. Tbh I'm getting to the point where every time a plague rat is reportedly being treated for covid I feel like quoting Ivan Drago
  11. This. It can also be applied in game as well as to your gear
  12. In that case I suggest some kind of protection for the lens on the light as they can easily be shot out.
  13. @TheNotoriousLoki glad to hear you enjoyed it. Forgetting your gloves is a lesson I'm sure many of us have learnt the hard way, I know I have. Good call on not buying more gear for the moment, it's very easy to end up buying loads of stuff that ends up sitting in a cupboard gathering dust.
  14. I've never been a fan of banning things as the issue is usually the soft fleshy bit holding it. I'd rather sites booted those who act like twats, whether it's not calling hits, overshooting or something else
  15. There's a saying about asking a silly question
  16. That describes quite a lot of airsofters. As others have posted, play the way that suits you and leave the charging around to those who are fitter/jacked up on monster
  17. You'd have to be on something strong to post what's in that ballistics thread
  18. Tbh I found last night's game at Driverwood to be a mixed bag. While the safezone and facilities were excellent (proper flushing toilets, lights and power sockets), and the game area was well set up with plenty of variety in the way of cover and buildings. The lighting and smoke machines were a nice touch too On the downside I found the hit taking to be questionable and the answer to my question about pyro rules was basically don't bother, nobody takes any notice them. Well if that's the case then surely it's down to the staff to deal with it, rather than just moan about it and it gave me the impression they didn’t really care. The last thing I didn't like was the sound system playing what sounded like the soundtrack to a cheap fairground ghost train. Whilst this might be good for zombie or halloween events I found it to more of an irritation. Overall I don't think I'll be going back soon
  19. Probably not as the MAC11 and MP9 both have the mag in the pistol grip. The vertical foregrip may also cause problems
  20. Is that supposed to be a joke or an attempt at a deep philosophical statement? Either way it failed
  21. Ooh, mid week games too. This is definitely one to keep an eye on
