Changing the handguard on my G&G GC16 Predator
concretesnail replied to Grayz1980's topic in Electric Guns
The other ptions would be to pop off the predator rail and cut the predator bit off the end and refit it. -
Changing the handguard on my G&G GC16 Predator
concretesnail replied to Grayz1980's topic in Electric Guns
You'd most likely need to swap the rail and the barrel nut. If you're willing to do that then it should be fairly straight swap. -
As much as I like the minimo, I don't think it would be as useful as I have a warrior 901 bravo too for faction type games, I did think about popping some velcro panels on that too. Something small to stuff at the bottom of kit bag as a loner or super light grab and go. I found a comfort pad and couple of side clips at British tactical, so that's another option. Too many options.
-
I need some side clips as the placards aware the warrior ones and only have the vertical clips as the side clips are part of the rpc. I nearly always wear the rpc so just rip and swap the mag pouches, which are one the placard, but a strap system for warrior placards yommake themm standalone would be really useful.
-
Thanks folks, now I don't what too choose. I suppose there are worse problems too have.
-
Both of those had promised but the side clips are part of the pouch element not the velcro panel. Which is unfortunately the warrior placards don't carry the clip sections. The chesty looks to right sort of thing, well the style that I was think of, would just need to gey some clips for the shoulder straps.

Morning all. Does anyone know of a harness system that takes placards? I have an rpc and a fee separately setup placards for swapping setups quickly, which is great but on occasion I'd like to be able to use one of these setups as a standalone set of pouch for a friend or pick up game where I'm not running the rpc or a larger chest rig. Something along the lines of the ops minimo but without the extra molle panels to the side, basically a panel of velcro strapped to the chest.

I'd suggest going real steel sling wise so you don't end up spending loads an a rif and then bouncing it off the floor when the cheap sling fails. I'm using a 5.11 padded vtac 2 point and it's great with the weight of gbbrs.

No issues with opening the wallet but there needs to be something in it, bloody kids keep emptying it. Thanks for the advice though, I'll look up the feyachi. I'll look it up, thanks.

top would be 100 currently

Need help with making custom JG Fal top cover
concretesnail replied to Alexdima579's topic in Custom Guns
I'd suggest leaving the mounting piece in place and then look to make the new cover with some flex and internal nubs with matc the mounting points for the stock cover. It'll be a snap type fit and you can give the nubs the same size, position and depth of the screws so they shouldn't interfere with the working of the replica. -
Anyone running a Ranger Green Loadout?
concretesnail replied to lmars1997's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I mix rg in as I tend not to run camo loadouts. I use a warrior rpc in tan and have a rg back panel, the two colours don't look out of place next to each other. -
Well its stripped down and I think the culprit is the green seat sealing ring. So that's the part I'd be looking to swap out/replace. I found similar looking parts for glock mags but they have no sizing information on them so no idea if they would fit. I don't mind swapping out the green for an oring if someone knows what material will take the co2 temperatures.
-
morning all. Does anyone know where is a good place to look for Co2 sealing rings? I have a we m92 and some of the co2 valves are leaking now and id guess the sealing rings have blistered and need replacing but i dont know where is good for ggb parts currently. my usual go to of milspec isnt showing any in the gas mag parts.

Second the pts eps. I have on my 308 and it's big enough to get two batteries in there, a nuprol 3s 1450 25c crane and a tattu 3s 1050 85c.

I used them recently and they were bob on. I'd use them again without hesitation.

Mini/Small chest rigs for 3x 7.62 AK mags?
concretesnail replied to Asomodai's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Just a quick note re the flyye rig. Flyte ak pouches often have the mags stand perpendicular to the body, curving away, great for keeping three mags in a pouch and stoping the curve of the mags from taking up too much molle space, but it does mean they stand off quite tall if you have them front facing on rig. I use Flyye ak pouches and belt mount them on my hip. If you want them on the chest then I'd go the ops or warrior setups. I have warrior ak pouches on my rpc and they are great and I also have an ops panel for my mp9 setup, the ops kit has taken a beating over the years and has lasted really well. -
Deans are a solid bet, lots of airsoft folk use them. I tend to favour the xt connectors as I usually have a pile of them about for flight batteries and rc stuff as they are good for keeping out the damp.

It likely the mosfet only if that has popped first then it should have broken the potential circuit and as a byproduct protected the etu but As Roger mentioned, knowing the rif and parts is large part of making an better guess and testing with a meter would be the only way of knowing without starting to replace parts.

Anyone used these mags for the aap? https://www.airsoftworld.net/a-w-e-glk-18-and-nuprol-raven-spare-magazine.html I need a spare or two
-
Buy it. Buy it now.
-
Basic fuses won't protect polarities. Unless the mosfet has its own protection then it likely dead I'm afraid. Replacement will most likely be the simple option.

The balance port will have mire connections as its made to take up to 4s lipos. It's should be clearly labeled as to the pin numbers and the balance plug usually has a pair of protruding ridges to match the port. Match the black/negative to the negative mark in the port and you should be able to see all the cell voltages displayed in the battery meter section of the charger.

Just for larks, how would you go about adding a fixed hop?
concretesnail replied to Rogerborg's topic in Single Action Guns
If the proud section on the black part stops the whole barrel assembly from rotating then an s/r hop style patch over a cut in window would-be fine. Then a grub screw into the assembly to apply pressure.
