Pretty much, yeah. None of us involved in it have mentioned it for ages.

I think BAC shook people's faith in the concept of an independent system to the point where finding support for a new one just wouldn't be there.

We're still sat on all the planning stuff though, so if there ever is an opportunity to implement an alternative system, we can just pick up from where we left off.

Cool down being bad is effectively impossible when it has so much gas to get through in those massive magazines. I saw a test the other where they got through 120 shots on one gas fill. That's 5 freakin' BB reloads before re-gassing. It's immense as fook.

Kick looked pretty decent too.

But the real test is in the longevity of the parts, and how easy it is to get spares.

I'd love to do that, but a combination of being a crap shot and people not taking hits puts me off.

Yeah it's a Daniel Defense mfr tube, very nice but getting a battery in will lead to a lot of swearing, should be worth it though

the picture of the 417 on the poster is actually a real 417, they're so early in the development that they haven't even got a display prototype yet. The HK45 had a display prototype more than a year ago and it's only just appeared. I expect we'll be waiting a long time for a release date.

I'm more than happy to wait till the end of time for the 417, the only guns i'd want more are an m14 or g3 so yeah, the waiting is always tedious but I'm sure it'll be more than worth it. I Finally had a go on a recoil 416 a couple of weeks ago and was hugely surprised at how much more solid it felt than my socom- and the socom is far from bad. Something to look forward to for sure.

yeah having seen the recoil on video and having a tm it really does look like the TM has more recoil? i can see the pricing being quite high seeing as its G&P and recoil.

Looks like no bolt stop too so my tm recoils are safe lol

They have at least two years. A different devs usually take it turn about, it used to be Infinity Ward/Treyarch take it year about but i'm not too sure how it works now because Sledge Hammer are in the mix.

Agree with Dan. I said the same thing myself. Developers like Bethesda for example...look at the work they put into the story and lore and all the details, and the sales / recognition they get in return. Not saying Fallout / Skyrim are unpopular because they are also big series and I know a lot of other great games but COD still gets a load of sales when they release the same sh*t every year.
