    The jefftron beats it.

You can set binary trigger with pre-cocking and AB.

    Watch this at 11:30

What was that bit in the video about potentially breaking micro switches if you spam the trigger incessantly? Is that a limitation of certain mosfets? He did then go onto to mention that optical sensors just need cleaning and you're good to go referring to the those mosfets which don't using micro switches but optical sensors?

The only disappointment about a Titan that I can see is the potential extra work you need to do to a gear box to make it fit a Titan build such as milling out the back end of the gear box to feed the extra wires or cutting off gearbox support struts (or whatever they are called) and so on..... that's the only bit I don't like personally....

And more importantly have you seen the colour of that rifle!! It may as well be 2 tone...! lol

  2. This could be an interesting debate if one is honest and open... different people different reasons... some people will try different guns, different brands just coz they just like the variety, others are happy with one and not fussed.... some take the hobby seriously with the milsim aspect whilst the other extreme it's the jeans and sweatshirt brigade. It's horses for courses and this is what makes the hobby fun.. Of course money has an impact and will play a major role but then again it's the same in every hobby...

I went through a phase where I wanted RS stuff, and then I woke upon day and thought hold on I'm just going pew pew with plastic pellets and just lost interest literally over night....sold off a few things,  real life takes over and all was forgotten for years.... until SEAL Team came on telly and I thought hey I fancied the old times and here I am again...

The only purchase I've made since coming back is a TM417 (don't tell Luke) which I'm gonna gut and upgrade when my bits arrive coz I just like  doing those sort of things.... hell I many even stick a mosfet in.. yes I still have my PTW which I spent an insane amount of money on which again I'm going to change coz I want a new receiver body for it (all hail HAO)... I don't need it... I just want it coz it looks pretty...  then I'll wake up again and think wtf am I doing and the cycle starts over again...

Not bent out of shape, I read the title of the thread but just because someone doesn't know the percentage decrease on a once used airsoft rifle against current RRP doesn't make them a Dreamer and shouldn't be laughed at

Don't take it personally mate.. we just have a wee laugh on this thread...no fingers or muzzles are pointed at anyone.....  no doubt my time will come too when I sell my PTW or my Recoils and be told that a Cyma can do the job better and cheaper.......

Gift receipts are your friend. All the product, none of the pricing lol

Amazing what receipts can be created with MS Word lol

  4. Yes 4K is the big selling point... if it's anything like Netflix 4K then all will be good.. I wonder if they will stream Dolby ATMOS too? That would be a killer over normal 5.1.

But yeah just over £4/mth.... it's a no brainer

Tm, p90, anime, limited edition, and for that price? It's actually not that bad. New ones were like 300-350 ish.

Seem like people pay way more for it: https://www.ebay.com/c/14023843583 This one looks like a steal in comparison.

Has the world gone bonkers 😂.. mind you that's an ebay price and the chap will be hoping that Katie will buy it as she's taking up Airsoft ain't she....?

But I get some pieces are considered collectibles so fair do's.....

This pic just popped up on my phone and I thought that was some sort of ladies personal pleasure toy until closer inspection and it was the speed loader with the shells!  Truly one of a kind! Lol

  7. Being the new guy on the block I apolitically apologise most reservedly for taking this thread off-topic and making you 'all talk like sensible airsofters' 😎

But ODIN > I never knew. the sidewinder existed until recently and to get a legit one seems like damn impossible. Sadly in the Far East patents aren't worth Jack unless its Lego aka the Lepin debate. It's always gonna be difficult for a small business owner to go up against the bigger machine as their great ideas will get pinched by the corporate giants who have the capacity to quickly produce knock-offs cheaply and hence corner the market.

I mean £565 plus £100-160 equals £665-725, and £500 is 75% of £665 and 69% of £725. 70-75% of RRP for a gun with less than one bottle of BBs through it isn't even all that high, although I would probably expect to receive more like 65-70% simply based on how much returns diminish after £400.

I think you might also be forgetting to factor in the high cost of quality accessories which are usually included with NGRS packages. Taking this Delta as an example:

    • Gun ~£550
    • Grip ~£20
    • Magazines ~£25ea.
    • ODIN M12 Sidewinder ~£50 (assuming it's genuine, and I'm not sure there are tan fakes)
    • IMAX B6 ~£35
    • Four batteries ~£50

That's £880, of which the £500 asking price is 57%. If he split the magazines, speedloader and charger off as separate items he'd be asking the equivalent of £341 for the gun and the batteries, which I would describe as "acutely reasonable".

Based on your logic and using that example as an example it's actually a fair price for the whole package.. ideally you'd be looking at no more than 60% value for a used AEG (dependant on age/use) I hazard to guess.  Oh and I expect upgrades are only worth something if you as the buyer want them and deem them worthy... If you spend £600 kitting out your new AEG with superpower type upgrades and then expect a 2nd hand buyer to pay say £400 for them I think your expectation will be ill founded.

It's just coincidence that advert turned up in the classified lol

  9. Why are used TM recoils so expensive... more so the HK variants? For example a used Delta say 1 one year old which has had say 40 mags through it with a mozzie still commands around £500'ish. I mean the gun is new for around £565 and granted a mozzie could set you back £120 -150 if you go for a titan advanced that is.... What gives?

  10. They don't make them like they used to that's for sure! I have quite a few of the old early 80's Hasbro ones...  there's a falcon still boxed and the electronic X-Wing with all the sounds... it's priceless, well to me it is... Let's not even start talking about Lego or Hot Toys.....

  11. I got to the point when Asoka left the the Jedi council and walked off in a huff... I think that's the end of S5. I've heard the final season is epic though... Looks like a binge watch over a weekend for me...
