Ah don’t spoil my fun, I like seeing them staggering back to the safe zone at lunch time with heat exhaustion. It would appear that a breakfast of monster and a fag doesn’t set you up for 2 hours in a bush womble suit on a hot day

    The 10 airsoft commandments:
Thou shalt not pretend thy divine BB's did not strike Thou shalt not accuse others of cheating Thou shalt not talk as a dead man Thou shalt not fire in a blind fashion Thou shalt not overshoot Thou shalt not run thy gun hot Thou shalt not camp thy enemy spawn Thou shalt stay within the area of play Thou shalt check thy target before shooting Thou shalt remember it is a game

Having to organise myself around other airsofters' foibles, whims and schedules sounds like a fairly close approximation to hell.  Heck, I can barely bare to get a pre-arranged radio channel set up on site, let alone pile into some sort of A-Team van. I pity the fool.

The two signal wires exit the gearbox in the same place as the old trigger wires (front LH side) and go straight up the left hand side of the gearbox shell to the top of the shell and under the cable keeper bit of the gearbox top cover thing and to the MOSFET. They are covered in green heatshrink in the photo below as they are quite thin gauge.

Motor-to-Deans wires fit exactly the same as the old ones. They are the ones to the rear next to the 5585EX sticker. I went for thicker gauge silicone wire and measured them up carefully before adding the spade connectors and male Deans plug.

If I get time I'll strip it down to get photos but it is a bit of a ball ache TBH.

To be fair, most attachments are unnecessary, they do nothing to improve gameplay or performance, they just look pretty.
If your budgeting for a new pistol & couple of mags, then you've got enough for another rifle, for example the one somebody reviewed on here recently, AR variant from one of the polish shops for £105ish, can't go wrong with that.
I've just picked up a fal with half a dozen mags for £140, lots of bargains out there.
As for all the non essential "accessories" you want, just wait for them to pop up in the classifieds for half the RRP, win win 👍

    Lazy TM...

So just a MWS body with another Madbull MK18 rail. They're a little late to the party as there's plenty of MWS owners who've already built their own MK18!

Don't get me wrong I love a MK18, but would of loved for something else to have been given the GBBR treatment.

That bloke's haircut is something else though! 😂

As we're talking hypothetical, yeah sure, in a perfect world it would be fine.

    BUT

we're not in a perfect world, far from it, & the Airsoft world has a large population of div's, Walt's, & generally small dicked losers who suffer with some kind of "premature ejaculation" in their trigger finger.
I think I'll stick with what we've got, in the knowledge that I won't end up in a&e due to other peoples fuckups.

Obviously all my lovely mates here, the names above don't apply 😜

the opposite, they amplify noise so you're more likely to hear hits...

snappy trigger response you want a slower motor and a mosfet with precocking, the gate warfets tend to be a bit less fussy than the titans.

really depends on the end-game you're looking for but that's as good as you really want to push an aeg into doing.

Yeah, the E&L mags don't feed without pushing them up into the gun. The catch on the magazine is thinner than the Cyma mag.
May just bite the bullet and get polymer

Someone needs to make a Wellrod style upper and enclose the bolt / integral suppressor for minimal noise and see if the Mk23 can be toppled as the snipers favourite side arm!

SSPKali reacted to Skara in Action Army's new pistol (AAP01)
Don't think it'll be possible to kill the bolt noise down to mk23 levels.
It is already a nice sidearm for a sniper, some people don't run MK23s and rely on G18s/Hi-Capas instead. This is almost as snappy as a Capa, but has the full auto meme factor of the G18.

There are integral suppressor kits already out there for people to print, but honestly they all look shit and they don't suppress anything, they just replace the outer barrel with a larger piece of plastic.

    Small update on mine:

Something's gone wrong as it now can't lift .3s past 40 metres anymore, thought the rubber got damaged somehow so swapped to a ML MR-Hop + I-Key. Same results really. the arm doesn't seem to apply enough pressure anymore, but it's not broken nor bent, the chamber is fine, the rubbers are fine. Don't think it's me messing up the installation as replacing a rubber and dropping a metal plate under the arm isn't exactly rocket science...

I feel a TDC may be applied soon.

The springs on E&L mags are shi*te
i had some magpul plastic p mags that eventually died(the front mag lip was plastic and wore) where it rocked in)
I swapped the springs and they are golden now

This is a NanoHARD mosfet with a 11.1v Li-Ion in the gas tube as far as it will go 😁
Carefully measured out the new motor wires and laid it out on the gearbox shell to make sure. Leads on the battery were shortened a bit too as I was swapping them to Deans anyway.
NanoHard had all the features I wanted but the WarFet looks really good. Gun is a loaner / Milsim OPFOR / messing about so it does the job. Snappy even on a 7.4v and active brake works well. Nice to know the trigger contacts won't burn out either!

Arrived yesterday and I spent today stripping, cleaning and shimming the gearbox (great quality, still with gunky blue grease!) and re-wiring with a 11.1v Li-Ion and Gate NanoHard mosfet Madbull tightbore barrel I had lying around and G&G green rubber / Firefly nub. New O-ring nozzle from AK2M4 arriving tomorrow but not sure I can be arsed to strip it down again 🙄

Outside has been sanded and roughed up, wood sanded and stained. Still more to do on this (and the 5 steel mags!) to give it the true Khyber Pass look.

335fps +/- 4fps and 20rps on full auto 😈 Destined for OPFOR MILSIMS, loaner gun and noisy CQB!
