  1. Yeah I should quantify that when I say reliable I mean I can count on it while the mags are able to create a seal. They only seem to fail between games, so far so good on the field. I have bought six CO2 mags for it and at least two pissed gas immediately.
  2. If I open an iwholesale account and make a website, then never actually communicate with my customers, can I call myself an airsoft shop? Seems to work for many!

Sounds about right , does seem the larger and more well known the retailer gets the less they care about there customers ?

  3. I love using pistols, even in woodland games. Getting kills with them is just so entertaining. I have several including 2 x ASG P-09's, which even in cold weather shoot very reliably for 4-5 mags at around 330fps. However in hot weather they can be a bit too powerful, so I use my Umarex Glock 19X or one of the TM's. I've tried AEP's in the past, even including the newest CYMA with MOSFET and I hated it. When I'm in close and split seconds count, I don't want my pistol whirring up to fire when I pull the trigger before shooting a measily 220fps. Show me a brand new design which fires at least 300fps and shoots almost instantly.
  4. Especially when there's one going for a bargain in the classifieds... 😬
  5. Hmmm....pretty much as I suspected then. Cheers.
  6. Don't ask why LOL but I'm looking for a non-TM Hi-Capa and on the surface these appear to be at least halfway decent. Does anyone here have any real world experience with them though and speak on their gas efficiency, accuracy and reliability etc? I will add that I'm specifically looking at the HX2002 and HX1005.
  7. I've just booked for 18th. My first ever proper CQB experience!
  8. I appreciate they prevent fine tuning but I just like having one click too much, two clicks down not enough, one click up just right. I've seen Krytac hop units can be picked-up for around £30 but not sure it's even worth that.
  9. Quick one - can anyone recommend a hop unit with incremental clicks? Also, ideally on the cheaper side as it'd only be going in my DE Honey Badger.
  10. I've also experienced the terrible customer service provided by the Novritsch team. They immediately blamed me for a part failing. This is how it should be done. I ordered 4 x bags of BB's and 2 x Lipos from 308sniper.co.uk on a next day service. Only one bag of BB's and one battery was delivered today. Within two hours of my initial email reprting the issue, I received this:
  11. Anyone need a GBBR? I'm thinking £300 posted seems fair.

@alxndrhll - Not fishing, think of me as more of a Pied Piper figure!

@Rogerborg - You don't have a licence? No problem, just promise not to take it to any of the posh supermarkets.

@strykerles - For an extra £150 I'll include a bottle of 0.12g bulldog BB's and half a can of Calor gas.

@Cr0-Magnon that's a bargain, are they yellow bbs?

Can you clarify if Sainsbury is a posh supermarket, or does it just keep the scum out of Waitrose?

  12. I've noticed something about those 4.3 Limcat slides which is going to bother me. They have 9mm markings and my Guarder outer barrel .45. Does anyone make an outer barrel with 9mm markings?
  13. Sods law isn't it but I've only just decided. Car insurance due and a few other things I need to sort before toy guns 😔 Thanks for the advice though!
  14. I picked these up this month but have decided not to actually buy the gun! I removed them from the packaging purely to spray with a bit of silicone oil and fill with gas to keep the seals tight. Any idea what I could ask for them?
  15. Ordered on 13th May and it's been at Langley/Heathrow since 21st May.
  16. Now I'm actually trying to think what I've got under my desk.....
  17. This is actually the second time it's happened. I also got three police officers turning up at my office. The conversation went like this: Police: Why have you tried to import a RIF? Me: Because I'm a UKARA registered airsofter. Police: Oh cool, some of the guys from the station are airsofters. You're obviously not dodgy. Have a good day.
  18. Just received a letter from BF stating that they've seized a RIF (GBB Pistol) I purchased from Hong Kong retailer. I did specifically instruct the retailer to show my UKARA number on the outside of the package. Whether or not they've done this, I don't know. However I should imagine they've also declared it as "toy parts" or something like they usually do. I paid via Paypal, so do I have a case for claiming the full-amount back? Also has this happened to anyone else and they've successfully fought it? Doesn't really seem worth it for £150 (especially if I can get a refund).
  19. I'm not sure if this is an old design or one that's coming soon but I like it a lot. I think it'd go well with the dual Stainless chassis and I already have an STI grip on order.
  20. Seeing as this is basically a Hi Capa build thread now....has anyone done something interesting with a 4.3? Just bought a 4.3 Dual Stainless but starting to regret it as there doesn't seem that many slide options. So looking for inspiration.
  21. That'd definitely be the most economical option. Although if the gun in question is a DMR platform, just buy another because....well, needs must and all that. The widebore barrels are more often used the other way round, where you'd install a stronger spring because of the FPS drop caused.
  22. When Negative Airsoft installed an ORGA 6.23 widebore barrel in my GR25, it dropped the FPS from 485 to 400. I obviously can't with confidence say what kind of results you'd achieve but these barrels are known to drop the FPS. It also gave it amazing range. He's mentioned in his videos that it was the best range and accuracy he's ever gotten.
  23. I quite like the top half but the two halves don't blend as nicely as the AAP. From what I've seen the most accurate (to real steal) version will be the one with a 1911 lower, however that should also be the worst performer. Using an antiquated hop system is just an inexcusable cost cutting measure.
