I recall 2 perfectly stereotypical speedsofters (one with an extended trigger on his hpa'd m4, the other a m4 mag adapted hicapa) get absolutely wrecked outdoors because they weren't used to having to walk or shoot more than 10ft without cover......

The one thing I'd note is that Murcan style speedQBsoft is likely immiscible with bringing casual rentals into the game.

I almost bought one of the old electricspringer auto cocker hk53 just because it's the only rif left that i would want to buy, carbine with telescopic stock and no picatinny in sight. Don't need Tm to plastic it up, LCT would do nicely.

The one that gets me in reviews is when a gun has loads of parts changed before it's fired a shot. Personally I'd like to know how it performs out of the box before spending half the cost of the gun on upgrades. 
 

I like Bad Influence for his no-nonsense reviews showing all the important stuff and very little else.  I particularly appreciate that he reviews lower end stuff on exactly the same basis as anything else, right down to 15 Euro springers.

But as i said earlier its not getting hit in the face is the problem, even on auto, its when someone does it intentionally.
 
I aim centre of mass of what i see, if thats a face then thats what i shoot at, if i have a full body shot i'll generally be aiming at the stomach

And half the time (at least) they're not even hitting the player who's supposedly not taking their hits
