Damn, I wonder if the type of firearms license they will deem necessary is the same type you need to own an actual firearm; pretty messed up if it is.
 
The thing that disturbs me most about that notice is the position of that carry handle and the absence of the lower quad rail - I am well and truly triggered right now. 😏

Just reassembled my mws after getting the barrel cerakoted in vortex bronze to match my scope.
 
Would highly recommend MPH Cerakoting if anyone fancies a splash of colour on the baby.

I'm trying to find out if there is a G17 (any generation) that is proportionally correct to its real counterpart. My old gen 4 WE sits about a mil and a half wider at the slide drastically reducing holster options. I own many holsters for the real pistol and am looking for not only a training aid but using it as a part of a load out as I step back into the airsoft environment.
As always the divide between those who glock and those who dont seems to have hindered any useful feedback in other places so I hope yall could spare a few minutes to help.

Bit of an update on my feldwebel 7. Company II battalion 125 regiment panzergrenadier of 21 panzer division kit for 1944-45. Looking forward to normality returning next year so I can go to WWII events again 😁

After waiting since Dec 2018, I've seen new Instagram posts from SWIT and KYairsoft that its coming soon...
No exact date yet but hopefully in the next month or so.
Haven't found any info about the hop-up so hopefully it has one unlike the crappy 1935 version.
 
Problem is that air deliveries from East have been halted due to Covid so may be a while before they're available.
Hopefully the larger European suppliers like Taiwangun and Gunfire can get em in.

I just got my EK3 upgrade kit and converted my G&G L85A2 kit over to an L85A3.  For anyone thinking about upgrading their A2, I recommend giving this kit a go.  Its well built, and extremely solid.  Matches my G&G L85 extremely well, so you wouldn't know its an aftermarket mod.  Zero play or wobble to either the handguard or the picatinny optics rail, and doesn't seem like it will develop any play any time soon either!
 
The install took me about 1.5 hours, and English Kiwi, who designed the kit, has a video install guide up that walks you through.  If you are familiar with stripping an L85 it would probably only take half an hour or less, but this was my first time doing it.
 
Honestly the rifle looks great with this kit fitted.  It feel solid, the picatinny attachments are very useful, there is a lot more battery space than the A2.  Am pretty happy with the result!
 
Any questions people have, feel free to ask.

Kinda regret putting the UGL in there and not a sidearm + mags. gonna have to buy a new layer of foam and re-do it.

No it's actually a smaller gas mag in the shape of stripper clip so you can load it in the top

Finally got the folding stock adapter fitted to my AEG. It's not completely done as I need a receiver end plate but it works as a proof of concept. It's actually really practical as it means I don't need to take the stock off to change the battery or have a stupidly long screwdriver to take the buffer tube off

Soon to be a member of the fine MWS club!
 
Was fortunate to try one for the first time last summer at South Coast CQB and it left a lasting impression...
 
Sold my TM MP7 GBB to help fund the purchase, and now awaiting the arrival of an MWS CQBR (will stick some photos up when it arrives)
 
I have a very long shopping list but I know what I want to do with it!
 
Its staying all black, and will be the complete opposite of my battle worn TM MK18 NGRS.
 
Awaiting HAO Industries to get stock on their 9.3" MK16 m-lok rails and then go from there.
 
I really struggled finding any UK stock for MWS mags, and no suppliers I contacted had anything imminently arriving. 
 
So I've taken a risk and ordered 5 mags from Rainbow8, who I have used before but what with all the craziness going on who knows when they will arrive!

416 more or less complete. Ebay receiver has had trades added. Bought a sheet of waterslide decals off the internet, they seem ok  if a bit bright. I had to play with the spacing a bit since the receiver already had the 5.56 markings. Decals over coated with several coats of Halfords camo varnish. Trades are noy 100 % accurate by any means , but do the job plenty well enough. I'll tone them down a bit with some washes some time. Complete front end, stock and pistol grip donated by a mate who was having a clear out . Some parts from my own spares draw and a Tomtac gearbox and Bob's your uncle ! 

So this rifle came from Bespoke Airsoft in the U.K. The sling is a M1903- M1907 from Soldier of Fortune. You can get the upgraded version from Swit Airsoft but expect to pay at least £150 more plus import/custom charges!!

So...I gave in and bought the S&T Springfield M1903A3 rifle. All wood and metal, it is a beautiful rifle and solidly built.

just added a few bits to my VFC MCX

New addition arrived today 
I copied @HuttArmouries 👍 (The G3 is the new one)
Seems to cycle very slow , so I’m hoping it’s a battery issue
Also a total pain in the hoop to fit a claw picitinny rail to it, spent two hours cursing
Mount is now back in the box 😂
 
 

you weren't that specific.
 
for example you want "good" rof, well if your idea of "good" is "anything better than stock" then a basic mosfet and 11.1v battery will be all you need, if you want a 40rps hose then the requirements are going to be a bit more extreme.
 
you want 330 or 350fps, which is it? do you play more at sites with a lower limit that you'd rather go lower? do you want to be able to change with ease?
 
you want "good range", which can mean anything from just putting some geoffs .3's in a clean stock gun or dropping .48's into a gun with literally every internal part changed
 
this is the problem with providing recommendations as to whether for example putting a titan, which is an expensive and complex bit of kit that needs a lot of other factors in the gun to be up to scratch first, is the right thing to do or not.
 
this is why in lieu of anything specific the answer is to "leave it alone", if you have the impression the gun you're getting is going to be "good" (in your definition) out of the box then maybe you'll be sufficiently happy with the performance that you don't need to do anything bar keep it clean and feed it targets. likewise you might use it and find "hmm, i like the rof, and my bb's are going far enough, but the spread is terrible" or "hmm, my bb's are going where i want them to, but the trigger response is too slow" which can be as much down to personal preference and game style as anything else.

The dual ammo version is .177 pellet or BB, and not airsoft, so you don't need UKARA.

Yes G&G are working a potentially promising Gas No4 if they can get it right, Also S&T are working on a spring SMLE coming off the success of their spring 98Ks (Were very reasonably priced with some under £100 even) which you may prefer. I wouldn't worry about the RWA to much as its extortionately overpriced and not even very good from what i hear. My only gripe with the G&G is that they are making the sniper variant but without the scope which doesn't make sense to me considering No4 scopes are not exactly easy to come by and also probably will end up costing just as much as the actual rifle lol.
 
But either way, its great to FINALLY see some proper Enfields on the airsoft market which are not only gas and which wont cost stupid money.
