MWS in a box. Still need to add a Vortex Sparc AR and a tracer unit (aftershave used to judge size!). Middle layer of foam will hold 4 mags, and bottom layer a pistol and tool kit.

I would suggest that anyone who charges £450 for a review and then says anything negative about the product won't see a great deal of repeat business.
 
Especially given that I can't think of a single airsoft product that I could describe as 100% flawless.

For me......

Well thought out and balanced reviews. No UKAC style "I just bought this £30 pistol from Jbbgnus4less and it is the best sidearm ever" from someone who has been playing for 2 weeks.......

Tied into the above........ impartial reviews of kit and sites. If you're saying good things about product/site X back it up, conversely if saying negative things the same applies (incidently slamming a site cos they refuse to worship the ground you walk on despite you being an 'airsoft celeb' really not cool). 

When reviewing kit/guns say what you're comparing it against and try to do like for like. Obviously a Haley D3CR is ALWAYS going to beat a TMC one on everything apart from price. I for example would love to see an unbiased like for like Bolt Recoil Vs TM Recoil review that goes into more than "teh Bolt is cheaper and betterer bcos all tm fanbois are wrong".

Gameplay videos, I could not care less, especially with clickbaity "OMG airsoft cheaterz get pwned" type titles. 

Loadout videos..... you do you, personally I honestly couldn't care if someones wearing last seasons SEAL kit or this seasons. That said if you ARE going to do a "definitive how to do Loadout Y" make sure your information is correct. I've lost count of the num,ber of times I've seen BHD loadouts in the wrong camo, using helmets from 10 years in the future etc....

As I've mentioned on his gear thread for £300 I'd be expecting that to be a literal ton of pouches cos the rest is worth nowhere near the asking price even brand new. 
 

@Luke85 @Rogerborg, There's no excuse for the barrel..... but the fact their tech stated he checked the (blatantly not fitted) mosfet is imo absolutely a fucking damning indictment of both their tech's skill and integrity.

@Andyglaister If it was me writing that email I'd include a link to the Negative Airsoft youtube vid in it. The fact that Luke is well known in the airsoft community and doesn't have any skin in the game should hopefully help reinforce to the owner how bad his staff have fucked the pooch on this.

Well their getting one last chance to rectify the situation,a detailed emails going off to one of the owner's probably tonight.The manufacturer MOS, and the distributor Arcturus tactical, are aware of the situation with the dustcover and have confirmed it's not one of theirs and shouldn't be on the Rif. They have requested I keep them informed of developments with the retailer.
It's up to them really,
put it right or
blitzkrieg by bad press

Things I took from that video; 
1) PB seem to have lied through their teeth to you..... and a case could easily be made for them refunding you.
2) Luke really is underwhelmed by Arcturus AKs.

My intention is to replace the rail with something a bit sleeker anyway to be honest. I'm hoping to get the MTR specific barrel and ris mount assembly off un-brutalised but if necessary I'm willing to move into the realms of "extreme prejudice". 
 

So far everything has been a drop in fit! Actually surprised, even the SI dust cover fits perfectly. Only "strange" bit is that the forward assist stick out more than it probably should.

IF your budget can stretch to it Vortex do some very good budget sights aimed at the RS market but with an unlimited lifetime warranty that will be honoured for anything short of deliberate abuse. I'm torn between running a RS eotech and a Vortex Sparc AR on the CQB upper I showed off earlier
 
 

For those interested the dry fit of my cqb upper. Just need the tiny screw that holds the hop base in place and an inner barrel now.

It'll be designed to run most efficiently on R134/R144a. The Japanese police have a habit of getting a serious sad on with anyone making or supplying bits capable of running above 1Joule. Running it on propane etc will probably be fine but is outside the design specs. For reference pure R134 @ 21degrees should be approx 71.2psi gauge pressure.

Will probably be a difficult affair. If anyone does run multiple builds they generally do that on 1 lower. So to sale the lower you’d basically have to hope someone with multiple builds gets sick of switching the uppers every time he wants a different role / look. The front end will probably be a bit easier but pretty much every MWS comes with that rail already. Only thing I’d see selling quickly is, if you take the M4A1 is the outer barrel for people who want to change to lengthier setup(or vice versa).
Those are actually the main reasons why I went with the John Wick set. The things in that set and which I don’t intend on using are fairly unique and probably have a higher resale value. But that is just my two cents!

the thing with almost all gas guns is that they release much more gas down the barrel than they actually use so they are effectively all massively over volumed anyway. but you will almost certainly be fine on 144 using .25 s. in fact the issue with joule creep is normally encountered when you can run much heavier ammo (I run .36s)
 
the short barrel will make it pretty noisy but yes you certainly can put a shorter barrel on it without any issues if you can find one you like that fits.
