  1. You don't like the quality or the look or the glass or what? You want a different style? If you're happy to stick with the T1 style, the Vector Optics Mavericks are decent. Or go with the smaller Vector Optics Frenzy line.
  2. Do you understand what GHK is offering here? A revolutionary design (even if it's in the shape of a Glock) with a steel slide and barrel. It's incomparable to any WE pistol tbh.
  3. To be fair, if UK customers only represent a small percentage of sales, I don't think I would bother with dealing with it if I was an EU retailer. More paperwork, more registrations, more likely more fees, trying to communicate with HMRC etc. Aliexpress on the other hand. Huuuuuge company so it's easy to implement it. Good video from Louis Rossmann covering it here
  4. You just know we'll still get some bellend posting stock photos despite the clarification.
  5. I gather the rear strengthening protrusion can be removed as there is a buffer tube adapter that takes GBBR M4 buffer tubes out there which claims to be reversible should you want to go back to the TM stock.
  6. There are clones of the Unity Tactical articulated riser for magnifiers out now if you can't source the RS.
  7. Dude. Do you work at Dave's Custom Airsoft or something? This isn't a thread for stock images as you've previously been told.
  8. Just because something has been removed from it's packaging, it doesn't magically lose 30% of it's value. Sure, it may not be brand new and sealed but who really cares if something has been opened and test fitted and then put back in the packaging. As long as someone hasn't fucked it up with scratches and stuff from the fitting, so what? Is it any different from a retailer, in this case Airsoft Global stating this? "Whenever we test any guns, scratch can't be avoided. Therefore, we are hoping that you may consider carefully before you purchase it! But we can guarantee that all items are brand new." If someone has gone to the trouble of going through the waiting time of importing something, paying customs fees etc, I see no reason why you wouldn't pay a bit less than the "brand new" price to save that time and end with something in the same state as it will be when you open the packet. The whole paying full price for customer support and warranty is also kind of overrated. Sure, for some stuff you absolutely want that in case it's properly borked but I'd guess lots of things can easily be sorted for lower that the cost of return postage to a retailer. You just have to evaluate the risk on an item by item basis. You're pretty safe with accessories and similar, especially ones that don't involve any electronics. I think at the end of the day, just be honest and make sure stuff is described accurately. Now if people are trying to pass stuff like a RIF off as "only skirmished once, as new", and trying to get retail price, now that's a no no.
  9. What's that V8 sitting in?
  10. Same. Google images can be weird sometimes.
  11. The AKM has pretty much the same JP street price as the MP5 I believe so £500-£550 is likely over here.
  12. WE do a proper looking MP7 without all those cuts but it's sold as the New Wave Small Rice MP7 rather than the WE SMG8.
  13. Hardly. I think people are too focused on the 75/60% "rule". The market sets the price, not an arbitrary calculation.
  14. Is it just UPS that take fee payment at the door? I've lost track of all the customs charges I've paid but I've never paid a delivery driver.
  15. Anyone else noticing more and more Redi Mags floating about?  Are they coming back into fashion?

I'm pretty sure back in 2007/2008 they were popular due to Magpul Dynamics, Costa & Haley running them

  16. If overseas retailers don't register for the scheme, let's face it, a lot I'm sure can't be arsed, is there any downside for them? I can't see HMRC writing to them asking very nicely if they'll sign up to their dumb scheme.
  17. I made an order from HK late last Monday and it's at my door this morning.  That's quicker than a lot of British retailers ?

I've noticed Aliexpress gear on the whole has become faster, no doubt due to the VAT being paid at source, also noticed when I bought some HK gear that didn't require me to pay the VAT at source it arrived pretty fast as well, about a week.

Have to say since the change in vat and what not Aliexpress has become my default stop for most of my airsoft bits’n’bobs , don’t even look at gunfire or Taiwangun any more .

  18. He's been rocking that for a few years now. Japan...
  19. Yeah. That's TM releases for the next few years sorted. A2, A3, A4, 10/40 if they're feeling funky. K, PDW, SD2, SD3, SD4, SD5, SD6. They can get a lot of mileage out of the MP5.
  20. And what does your tracking number say?
  21. It's on TM's site so definitely true. Reveal next Friday.
  22. As mentioned, it's AsiaAirsoft in a new suit. I've had two orders with AA and both times they screwed up. Can't say I have any desire to order from them again, whatever they're calling themselves.
  23. Hmmm. I only have the option to share from that menu.
