  1. Unless they claim to otherwise, who cares?
  2. Sitting on the toilet packing a mag "Six millimetre. Fully bio degradable"
  3. That is indeed of a silver suppressor? Would you be interested in a Madbull Quicksilver? I have one surplus to requirements. http://madbull.com/catalog/en/products/nbsp/quicksilver-toy-silencer-and-aluminum-tube-shiny-silver.html
  4. I take it you don't know The Beaverton is satire?
  5. Very true. It's definitely a case of "we're morally right so we don't need to be technically right so I won't spend any time investigating if what I'm saying is utter nonsense" You'll always come up against a brick wall when it comes to registration of firearms in the US. At the end of the day, registration of something, anything, only exists for one reason. So the government know where to find it. I still feel like severe sentencing does deter people. Just look at how knife crime over here shot up as it was deemed safer for criminals to use a knife compared to a gun. Even taking into account the lower circulation of firearms in the UK available to the average criminal.
  6. Absolutely. Airsoft in Canada has always been fairly restricted anyway from what I gather. Stuff like only certain people/companies able to import, massively inflated prices compared to the US. Seems like it's been on thin ice for a while. And yeah, I think it's perfectly understandable for people to question infringements on the second amendment. You might come across as a gun nut to a normie but it's only logical to see where it's heading. A little restriction here, this thing banned there. Oh, you need to register that. Oh, now we have a register, you have to surrender all of these types of firearms and we know where they all (well, some of) are... What I find astounding is the gun control is done in such a bizzare manner like the "features" of the AWB. Like pistol grips, bayonet mounts lol. What relevance do these have...The fact stuff is banned based on how scary it looks, regardless if it operates in exactly the same way as something else that is OK because it has wood furniture for example. And the fact the democrats want another AWB when the first one sunset because it was proven it was irrelevant. "High capacity" mags vilified but 10 rounders are fine. I'm sure the average airsofter could change mags in a second or so... Do I think everyone should be allowed to run around with full auto MP5s with 50 round mags? No, but there needs to be some actual "common sense gun control". If I had any say in things, I'd just put stupidly massive sentencing on committing crimes with a firearm/knife. Mug someone with a firearm? 50 years in prison. All assets stripped and put towards the costs for you incarceration etc. So many POS people commit crimes with firearms as they don't fear the consequences. Just make it not worth it for them. Who's going to commit an armed home invasion when they're looking at the possibility of seeing out most of their life in prison? Of course this doesn't account for nutters wanting infamy after going on a killing spree and not caring about suicide by police or at their own hands. Though the media has been told time and time again what part they play in such events and they refuse to take the advice. They crave mass killings as they bring in so many clicks...
  7. Yeah. That's pretty much how I price new stuff I've changed my mind about between ordering and receiving.
  8. Since the Nova Scotia shootings, Canada has gone full on knee jerk. Imo, Canada has had some really logical laws regarding firearms but then one nutter comes along, imports some illegal firearms and steals a police officer's firearm and it's game over. It seems like Trudeau is just trying to show up the US when it really isn't necessary.
  9. Ali was on the ball re. VAT from day one. They take the VAT at the checkout.
  10. I'm looking to put a light on my M733 using the clamp style mount on the barrel under the front sight. The "clone correct" light is a Surefire 660 but that would need a drop in P60 upgrade to make it comparative to modern lights in terms of output and sourcing one would be hassle I'd imagine. I was wondering what sort of options are out there for something that looks fairly retro and has a tape switch available for it that doesn't need an upgrade right off the bat. I've had a look but can't really see much unless I'm overlooking something. I was looking at Surefire 6P clones but they seem to have dried up with the demise of Solarforce.
  11. Spanker lol. At least it's legible unlike many random Chinese brands that appear to use gobbledygook.
  12. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I shall investigate. I've found my standard Mechanix gloves just don't cut it in low single digits.
  13. There won't be much to choose from as Keymod is basically dead at this point. A BCM Gunfighter vertical grip is probably your best bet.
  14. Is this at court stage yet? I have some experience with PPCs and court.
  15. It's just basic supply and demand. Relatively not that many made it here. Discontinued and no competing products. The seller can name the price.
  16. Can anyone recommend any gloves that strike a decent balance between being warm and having enough dexterity to write with a pen? (touch screen compatible would be a bonus)
  17. I don't know, The Next Generation Squad Weapons (NGSW) Program appears to be in full swing with Sig, General Dynamics and Textron Systems all gunning for the program to replace the M4 and M249. It seems a transition to the beefier 6.8mm round is inevitable considering the need to defeat actual body armour from conventional, near peer enemy forces the US is likely to encounter should it get into it with China, Russia etc. My money is on Sig at this point. They seem to be absolutely smashing it when it comes to small arms development. As for the Space Force, the next significant war will see space playing a key role with TITAN, space and high altitude, aerial and terrestrial layer sensors for target nomination direct to fire command and control networks. There is a whole lot going on up there that the average person doesn't know about. It's not about people fighting in space with railguns or lasers or whatever. It's about infrastructure that will tip the balance of a battle/war.
  18. Yeah. Their site is pretty ancient. Gives it some character though imo. Not just another typical HK airsoft website that all look the same as they seem to have used the same template/designer with floating menus etc.
  19. They're legit. My go to HK retailer in fact. Boom kind of runs...at it's own pace, in it's own way. How long ago did you order? Sometimes I'll find a gentle reminder e-mail is needed if I don't hear anything after a few days. But yeah, I wouldn't worry.
  20. Nope. Sub £135, the retailer will charge you the extra VAT. Over £135 and it's just like ordering from the US/Japan/outside of EU pre Brexit - you run the risk of customs catching it and getting VAT, duty and a clearance charge.
  21. A couple of pairs of needle nose pliers would sort that out.
  22. Probably referring to this. Ceremonial swearing in. It is pretty creepy to be fair. The hair stroking, sniffing etc.
