  1. GHK AUG with CO2 should do the trick.
  2. Sightmark do holographic sights? It's a red dot sight isn't it? I'm sure Al was just referencing the fact it's covered in tape which comes across a little dodgy.
  3. Such is life I guess. The same applies to most stuff. No one really cares if something is running smoothly. Take for instance NASA landing that probe and collecting samples on that asteroid recently. 200+ million miles away. I didn't see a whole lot of coverage on that but imagine if it was a failure and crashed. I think there would be a lot more coverage on it.
  4. I had a similar dilemma but not for cotton and had both Grangers and Nikwax in my cart. In the end I went with Nikwax you apply in the washing machine. I was reproofing a soft shell jacket that had lost it's water repellence. It doesn't appear to have been brought back to it's excellent factory performance with water beading but it seems to have put a decent coating back on it. I haven't tested it in really nasty rain but so far so good.
  5. And I bet you don't even go airsofting the 1 day a year it's actually viable to skirmish in snow 😄
  6. Interesting reply when it's clearly demonstrable that something is wrong.
  7. You can't expect an airsoft Glock to behave like a RS Glock fella...
  8. I was going to recommend a Bulldog MOLLE Low Profile Rifle Case but it appears they're discontinued. Maybe worth trying to track one down somewhere.
  9. I was going to ask you if you could recommend an RMR clone as you seem to get a new RDS every week heh. I take it these Vector Optics ones would be the recommendation? Any idea if they fit on Glocks with RMR cuts?
  10. As said, you don't need a TM MWS for this use. Get a GHK, Devilhunter modified CO2 mags and you're good to go.
  11. It looks like OP is in the US. Milsim West? Probably better off asking how US milsims work on a US forum/Reddit.
  12. lol. Those new reviews are fishier than an old fish.
  13. Their response would lead me to believe they don't know about 8mm BBs. Did you clarify it with them? Perhaps they thought it was something like a 4.5mm metal BB.
  14. I'm aware of PSG and mini rifle but they're not quite centre fire pistol and rifle which are my main interests therefore specifying practical pistol shooting in my posts.
  15. Sure, go to NI and you can shoot normal 9mm handguns but it's not exactly straightforward to get into practical pistol shooting in the UK. I don't count those horrible .22 monstrosities. Hence my use of doesn't really.
  16. I'm sorry but I think you're doubling down on nonsense here. It's not a great example? Perhaps it's not typical sure but it's a practical shooting range. Sure, most tend to use empty drums, VTAC barricades or framed mesh or whatever. Also, I don't see the relevance of dismissing Taran as an example of the shooting community. No one ever said having such barricades is the norm for ranges. My experience certainly mirrors yours. I have not been to any ranges with tyre barricades but I know they're out there. Of course they might not be available to your everyday civilian person. This kind of shooting doesn't really exist in the UK so I don't see the point in arguing, "well, you don't see it in the UK".
  17. So just to clarify, ranges with tyres isn't how ranges work but they do work if the tyres are removed at the end of that private shooting session after the range has been setup how they want, back to a traditional static range that you are likely to encounter if you just rock up to a range. And that ranges purely for practical shooting probably do exist. Like Mr Butler's range?
  18. Yeah. Plenty evidence of tyres being used. Bit of an odd blanket statement to say that's not how ranges work really.
  19. The Gaol had some practical shooting stuff planned but put on hold due to Covid I believe. Perhaps with enough interest registered, they could develop it into two gun.
  20. Did you just transfer the internals from existing mags or can you buy the internals separately?
  21. If you can find a middle man, you can get these from Yahoo Japan auctions. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c857581749 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/506569820 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x731242013
  22. Where did it say the draw would be at 1pm?
