  1. Did you email him or use messenger ? email is better option, does sometimes take a while to respond though. Think he charges the same for the buffer tubes. I need to get the ones for my AEG's done when I next send him some bits.
  2. The engraving, upper machining, barrel shortening and buffer tube mod were all done by LC's engineering. Jim does an awesome job as long as you are happy to wait, think the list is about 6 months long at the mo.
  3. Couple of better pictures of the L119 A2 GBBR build for my mate as a tribute to his son. still a couple of details to sort such as the fire selector when i can find a proper one ! and a final pic with my L119 A1 GBBR
  4. once that pin is completle out the front should just pull forward. It might be a bit stuck by the paint , worth warming the join a bit if you've got a hot air gun.
  5. I think OP is planning to fit one. Not a single mosfet in any of my aeg's just more bloody tech to go wrong !
  6. Ah, haven't seen that one . One or two inacuracies ?
  7. Very true, I generally have my guns running on the low side and dont have any range issues. The DMR i'll be quite happy at anywhere around 1.7j which will give plenty of headroom. I was just making the point that legally it could run at 2.5j as it is only capable of semi auto fire .
  8. 'Bolt action' implies typical airsoft snipers. However an aeg can also fire at 2.5 j as long as it can only fire once per trigger pull (no full auto) as can a GBBR again as long as it can only fire semi which covers DMRs which are typically aegs but capable of over 1.3j Your initial statement of 1.3 joules for anything capable of full or semi auto is incorrect, 1.3j only applies to full auto , my GBBRs have a bolt that loads the next projectile by moving and cocking the gun, but they are full auto capable so limited to 1.3j max. The Gas DMR I am building at the moment is internally the same but has a semi only selector so is ok up to the 2.5j although my local site limits DMRs to 1.9j.
  9. Not quite done yet, but L119 A2 GBBR. Building this with my best mate as a tribute to his Son who died suddenly earlier this year. Tom was 15 and intending to join the army and ultimatley try for selection so an L119 seems a fitting tribute and he always liked my A2 aeg. Loads of R/S parts on it , the 552 isn't entirley correct but is good for using in a skirmish. We do have a more correct T2 for it too.
  10. Doesn't the 2.5 apply to anything capable of only 1 shot per trigger pull not just to bolt action ? otherwise all those DMR setups are in the poo
  11. Had a great airsoft day today. Low numbers but I like those days, so much more tactical. All the players were in good mood , no issues with hit taking , hard faught games and blowing pumpkins up with pyro, what's not to love 😁 And the GBBR went well all day, infact the cold got to me before it did the to the rifle 🤣
  12. Lol, I was aiming at an age I havn't quite hit yet !
  13. Oldest member of our group is in his 60's . For myself, once my normal style of play starts becoming an effort i'll just snipe more. Sitting alone in a bush not moving and occasionally screaming insults at some young'un not taking hits sounds ideal for a grumpy old git ! Maybe there should be a minimum age requirement for snipers , about 55 sounds right 😉 🤣
  14. It's a great looking build , and nice to see another 'long' 119 👍
  15. is the fire selector one too big or too small ? just get yourself on ebay and order a couple of sizes up or down depending. They will almost certainly be metric so M3 M4 etc
  16. Need to get better pictures, but got the British trades done on my Hi Power
  17. Yep all made in Canada but yes the L119 designation is British use So it's an ExPat Canadian 🤣
  18. Ah, but it's Canadian. So it's a polite M4 and much less likely to shoot it's own side than those brash gobby american M4s
  19. Yep it's a laser, I got it for my MP7 but just thought I'd try it on the 226. And yes, it's the WE version Laser went straight on with no issues, although it doesn't fit on my G18 rail very well. Airsoft tolerances I guess
  20. Thank You 😀 Do it ! you know you want to ! 😈
  21. The chap on the L119 owners club on facebook is Bruno Carvalho . Easiest option would be to drop him a PM . Forget how much the set I got cost . They arrived pretty quickly as I recall. He also does a few other 119 bits.
