  1. TBH, i have found price differences on the polish sites of AEG's to be regulary at least £20 to £30 cheaper than a UK seller. In some cases £100 cheaper. Also, you know brexit was a good idea when business people who were pro-leave do this... https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/brexiteer-billionaire-jim-ratcliffe-moves-his-land-rover-production-to-eu-nj3fkckkk Clearly they were only in on it to make more money, or dont actually care about 'made in britain'
  2. It seems, CROPAT is really hard to find for sale outside the US and for what I would consider a decent price for grear...

Battleship used a blue variant I think but Hyperstealth did develop some digital patterns based on the OG Tigerstripe colourways http://www.hyperstealth.com/tigerpat/

You could always try buying some cheap surplus USAF digi-tiger and dyeing it?

thats an idea, but likely beyond my abilities.  and i think thats what im remembering.  at least im not totally mad

  3. Yeah, on closer inspetion, I have removed the lens and its in 2 pieces
  4. On an order from TaiwanGun, I tagged on a set of fan goggles as an experiment. At £17, if they worked, they would be a steal, if not, then no big loss. https://www.taiwangun.com/tactical-glasses-goggles/protective-goggle-mod-2-with-built-in-anti-fog-fan-black-fma I could not find any impact rating on the website, claiming to survive 550fps from a koer SVD. They arrived fine, though the fan didnt work. After some prying I found that the proportions of the battery case were off to the point that it wasnt making contact with the positive end of a AAA battery.... great QC (a sign of things to come). They arrived in a lovely case and conviniently they had the tinted lens fitted. I dont know why people wear them... why make the shadows in the woods darker? Either way it means it doesnt matter if they get skuffed during testing as I would be putting the provided clear lens in. I fired 3 rounds of 0.36g bb's at 490fps from my cyma springer from about an inch away. It left 3 little dimples where the left eye would be. All seeming fine so far. For the second test I brought out my gas TM M870 and fired 2 sets of 3 bb's all weighing 0.28g over the right eye, where it was as yet undamaged. The first salvo bounced off fine. The second.... two bb's went right through the lens cracking it majorly. Not so good. Also, the website claims the lens has a thickness of 2.4mm.... i measure it at 1.5mm with a ruler. I will need to borrow some calipers to be more accurate. I know my test would be somewhat extreme... and unlikely to happen in game... but I dont think I will use them now. Was my testing a little too much for it? I mean, it shugged off the sniper with no problem, hell, the scuffs were not even bad. The BB's and gas used that broke them are included in the photo.
  5. does -£0.01 mean you will pay me 1p to take it from your hands?
  6. Odd question. Is viper large a normal large or more like a tesco cherokee medium? (I have brought medium ubacs and they are definately smaller than standard wear)
  7. The peg boards not being lined up is triggering ocd...
  8. Aaand out of stock. Would rather the full stock than a frame so would have wanted to change that. Dont need another ak just yet anyway...
  9. clearly its been too long... I had an airsoft dream last night.  I was using my G3 (which I have yet to field) and it was the quietest and most accurate thing ever....  theres some aspirations to live up to when I do make my next skirmish.

Consider yourselves lucky that your gov is actually doing something. The US is essentially returning to normal, and we are going to get bloody hammered in two weeks or so. Did my biweekly shopping today and everyone was acting like everything was back to normal... Normally Id just be like Darwin Awards, but Im a high risk due to immuno-comprimization soooo... In other words that first game back is going to feel soooo nice...

      Same as Spaz.

Italy's gradually easing the lockdown, but since I know my people very well, I'm pretty sure we'll be back to square one in a matter of days.

Fingers crossed tho, we may be able to play again from the 18th :)

It is a good time to fully service any RIF's. Glad there are other things to do besides work at this moment in time.

      Stay safe everyone!

  11. I ask for ukara and check that the letters at the start are actually for a site, that much you can do on their website. The second check is to get their forum name and the date on some paper in a picture of rifs that they already own and arn't two tone. Just as evidence that they must (I assume/hope) have got at least some of them from a retailer and by proxy, be a skirmisher. Not full proof. But it feels like I did what I could. Though in all honesty, I only really press for it on profiles that are clearly new, or just not really used (no postings/reviews) and clearly only popping on here for the classifieds.
  12. Its good and solid. I have fondled it greatly under the excuse of practicing mag changes. But not been able to shoot it sadly. Then i can give it a proper review. Its funny, when i started out i wanted short guns. Got the carbine ics l85 and a ump. Now though im getting long ones xD. I guess its the draw to get different guns and a slight soft spot for coldwar battlerifles. Plus side of this is that ill have the mags for it. Just need to sort out some gear for a modernish pmc merc. Otherwise ill have to run it in multi cam as i have 7.62 pouches for that already. Unless two will fit in svd pouches. I know one does...
  13. My whole purchasing of the lct g3 has been panic buying (?) I had been watching the stock count in firesupport for a while. There were always 2 left for what seemed like months. I get some money at the beginning of lockdown but thought it wise to hold off blowing it all on a new pew. Then it goes down to 1 in stock. The buyer i think having posted about it on here. Thus making me buy the last one. I have also been watching the midcaps for it. These too seemed to remain with 12 odd in stock for ages, plenty, no rush.... suddenly this morning there were 4 left. The exact amount i wanted (4 on rig, 1 in gun). Soooo guess who just had to buy the remaining stock of lct g3 midcaps. Sorry wallet
  14. Thats true. I wouldnt. But its relying on someone wanting a trmr in particular either due to love of look or being under the impression that they are the best impact nade ever made. Tbh it was on my want list and missed the boat sadly on getting one. So from that logic. Why spend hundreds on a second hand real sword SVD when cyma are still making copies of it? Not a clean comparison because i would expect the RS to be better built. I guess im trying to saying that just because its not being manufactured doesnt make people not want it and due to percieved rarity be willing to spend more than rrp. Though i hope your right about haggle wriggle room. Because thats not far from double what it was, which seems a bit rich. On a side note. Anyone checked out the tectonic innovation grenades firesupport are advertising? Definately trying to fill the trmr hole in the market?
  15. Wholey this. Its not available in stores anymore and isnt being made. Sooo price goes up as availability goes down
  16. Why not get new? £71 here https://www.taiwangun.com/en/spring/cm-701c-cyma Else ill sell mine for a profit to you if your offering £100 😛
  17. So frustrating when you try and sell something HALF THE PRICE OF NEW, and every new profile seems to message wanting extras ontop and not cover the postage costs...  im not so desperate to shift it that im going to get rid of it for the price of a god damn 14 piece party bucket at KFC.

Just put 'No offers' in the text...?

Advertise your price including postage and fees. It's not a lot for you to work out the additional needed and honestly it gives a far more flattering view of you as a seller than trying to sell an item + extra for extras that may be needed + x% for paypal + postage.

    3. kasaran

      kasaran

I accept paypal fees and am transparent with postage fees too.  I tend to send photos of the receipt so they know the cost and for tracking.   I guess i could roll it into one.  Hell. Ill trade for a couple of lct g3 midcaps...

  18. More drainage isnt necessarily a good thing. It might increase the leaching of nutrients in the soils or dry them out to the point where plant life is effected. Could go as far as creating a different ground temperature, there is a term for it but i cant remember, something french. Either way. After decades of play and a layer of billions of bbs on the ground, its not going to be a topsoil conducive to healthy plant growth and everything that follows. Tbh, im not sure what the bio bbs break down into? Constituent parts or just smaller bits of plastic?
  19. i really wanted to lead this with a gif of trump denying global warming, but my google-fu has failed me. Bio bb's are generally fine, been using them on and off for years. you just need to be more mindfull of storage Dump them in a cold damp shed/garage you might get issues, keep them in the house warm and dry? then they will last (possibly not as long as the non bio ones, but at that point, why buy so many if its going to take so long to use them?). Any reliability issues they suffer are no different from the non bio bb's, you get good ones, bad ones and sometimes bad batches within the good ones, as mentioned with my experience with asg open blasters. When it comes to environmentally friendly, i doubt you have personally studied the rate to decomposition. Which is fair as thats anything between 2 to 4 years. my source? the back of a bag of G&G bios: having played with both bio and nonbio (one site i go to only allows bio) there is no performance difference i have seen. modern ones are definately not the bio bb's of old, which did have so many issues. i am always suprised when woodland sites dont insist on bios, there must be already a good layer made up of millions plastic balls on that ground and its only going to get thicker.
  20. I had a few problem batches with asg bio open blaster 0.25. Would jam in my stock tm m14 and g&p m16a1. Binned all the bottles i had. I have heard bad things about 6mmo bbs for quality control (jamming in tightbore barrels) from a group of guys that had stocked up on them for nae. Never had issue with G&G Bios.
  21. guy i know has the sawn off one, looks cool. downside is he cant skirm it as it fires way too hot dunno what the make of the shells were mind.
