What a shit game day this was.
Sniper kit needs to be redone (yay more money into the drain), I totally need mesh eyepro and 2 pistols are kinda useless.
Luckily I had the ARP and switched to that.

If I had a safezone to rely onto, I'd just use my frv belt and an armpit holster for the mk23.
Unfortunately that is not an option as I have to sling all my gear and supplies with me (radio, at least one litre of water, small gas canister). I need to rework my backpack setup.
Also thinking of switching to mesh when sniping, after all I play at 1J and everyone uses 0.2s, so the energy discharged on impact is very little (especially at 30/40 metres).

The thing with the mk23 is that it's huge, when I carried it as a regular pistol on my hip it got in the way every time I sat or knelt (is this correct?) down. Drawing from the hip when prone produces a lot of movement which can give your position away, which is bad when you're trying to remain unseen.
Shoulder/armpit/chest mount is the only system I can think of right now.
Regarding mesh, I know cheap bbs can shatter, the alternative to mesh would be to play without mouth protection or using something like a SISU, but the price tag scares me (in case I'm not comfortable with a gum shield)

Italian forums.
guys asks for advice on a replica ACOG.
I tell him they're all shit and that he should get a short dot.
Guy buys the acog and now he's cursing because it's shit.
lol

a truly international problem, i recall a very similar event on here regarding the ssp1.....
on a serious note i wouldn't mind a nice ACOG for airsoft, although granted the ones i've looked through so far have had a very strange definition of the phrase "forgiving eyebox"
of course i'd still end up stacking a red dot on top and using it almost exclusively same as i do with the short dot.

TFW you gas your WE glock mags in March, then test your TM G17 in late May but the gas has expanded so much it's almost impossible to depress the release valve
At least I know they don't leak
