Oh, that's believable.
It's the risible comparison with a pot metal (excuse me, "stamped steel") toy gun that's making us chuckle.
Cheer up, you've brought some joy to our day.

I’ve also held a real one and I just can’t get my head around the idea that an Airsoft one can replicate the feel and weight of a real one , hence my scepticism on the suggestion but if you have managed to do it then I do congratulate you for it .
Edit , as the Borg said you’ve put a smile on your forum friends faces , take it as a win ! 👍

What you've quoted is literally a completely different shirt to the linked ad, and I wear those 'navy' dark blue issue shirts every day in work. What the one in the ad on here is actually worth I've no clue, but those surplus dark blue shirts are fairly clearly not the same item when you look at the features.
Do you know what the HurricanE kit is made of? I had a quick go at researching it and there's a thread in the Arnies news section from 2004 so all the pages I could find are long dead, no idea if it's steel or cast airsoft-cheapy-sort of aluminium alloy.

Tackle got a reaction from EvilMonkee in Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic
generally a beret without a cap badge is fine to most ex-service personnel, the only exception sometimes is if its of a colour specific to only one regiment, maroon para beret being a good example, then sometimes people still get shirty.
BUT the downside to a plain beret is it usually looks shite, & you end up looking like the lovechild of Frank Spencer & Citizen Smith (ask you parents who they were 😏).
As for snoods etc, they will always add to problems with misting up, better to go with a mesh faceguard of some kind, allows condensing breath to dissipate.

Am genuinely sorry his business has folded due to the situation , but again not my problem and if he wants to use ‘military grade materials’ for an Airsoft mask then more fool he is , especially when you can get most of his patterns in this country for the same if not less (and I do know you can as I make kit my self !) so not a great deal of sympathy for him .
Ps if he really really does want some sympathy he can look it up in a dictionary , he’ll find it between shit and syphilis ! 😉
Ooooh that’s rather sweet ! 😍

Tackle reacted to Druid799 in F2000 sling
Many moons ago I made a sling for a friend who had one , ruff mock up of the sling ; there were two buckle straps holding the sling in place and then you had an extra double thickness strap that has a floating D ring over the stock so it could be used ambidextrously .

Not a game changer or a tacticool bit of kit (but I do think it’s tactibloody useful !)
battery tester from Lidl cost me a fiver , now I can clear out half the batteries in the draw !

@Super64, call my cynical if you like, but why not repost them in a few weeks when its half term, more likely to find a punter who'll pay your prices.
And no, you not being able to name the brands doesn't necessarily mean they're shite, but it does tell me that they're unlikely to be top quality 😉.

This caught my eye. I thought "wow! £40 for all these is a decent price!". Then I read the description..

Tackle reacted to Druid799 in Gun picture thread
After seeing the pic of @Lozart very sweet looking Steve McGarrett M4 build decided I wanted one as well ! Only real difference is I’ve used a TM 416D recoil as the base gun instead of the M4 used in the show .
