Had that happen to me, not nice, a choker, quite literally, only hit that was worse than that was one got past the nosepiece of some shite goggles, hit the little round ball shape bit in the corner of the eye nearest to the nose, quite literally put me on my knees for 5 minutes, needless to say those goggles were banished in to a 🔥, lest anyone else picked them up and suffered the same fate 😭

This^👍 With the exception of London instead of Birmingham, this mirrors my youth (I'm 53), & let's not forget racism doesn't just affect people of "colour", when my dad came to England from Eire, most of the lodgings had signs outside stating "Irish & Black's not welcome", & even before that he'd go for a job back home, one that he'd be considered to be way overqualified for, only to be rejected at the last minute for being a Catholic. 🤔 How many on here can say that they've had to go to another country to find work due to overt racism in their own ?

Doc's are very quick to give it a name & chuck pills at it, only real way to know how bad it is will be to get an MRI, which they will do their best to deny you purely due to cost, if you've got any healthcare cover through work etc, might be worth exploring the possibility that might cover it ?. I've had something similar going on for 30 months, medics playing it down & me saying its a lot worse than they say, finally they've admitted I need a new knee ☹️, so I'm on a "list" FFS.
