  1. The Area EFCS is a beefy looking mosfet with decent components, poorly designed and made. I am not surprised it drained the battery!
  2. Does the rifle has a mosfet? Some of them can drain batteries quite easily when not in use.
  3. Depends, was it connected to a smart charger with an auto cutoff? The gun itself? A dumb charger?
  4. Nope. I sold off most of my collection last year and happy with what I have left ?
  5. I wrap them up with something like PTFE Tape. Enough to bunch the tape up when you slam the pin in, so there is enough pressure to stop it from falling out. My old Ares OTTO Repa's pins were very loose and this solved it.
  6. Bought me some lovely Polish Maskpol MAPA whilst I was in Gdansk. Good quality kit, though the boonie hat is too small, need to source a large one!
  7. 2022 was a massive transition for me in my Personal life as well as my Airsoft life, which began with a massive slimming down of the rifle collection and augmentation of the clothing... Gone are all of my Russian kit as I cannot bring myself to wear it (The Gorka 1 being the exception as can be used for other loadouts). I have travelled to France, Poland and Hungary last year to get some of this kit. (Considering I am an awkward size, it was important to do this!). I lost a lot of weight this year (16 stone 8 to just a tad under 15 stone). So I swim in much of the F2 French Kit I bought last year, so much so that I had to go back to Paris to get replacements and ended up with superior but heavier T3/T4. I still need a nice green Chest Rig/Molle Vest, Maskpol MAPA Boonie in Large and T3/4 French CCE Shirt. My favourite kit is the latest, which is the MAPA as it's such a good looking kit. But I am most proud of the Hungarian kit, considering how impossible it is to get decent condition garments in the UK especially in my size. A trip to Budapest was mandatory. This year is the year of DNC. I want to replace my existing kit with some more substantial Helikon-Tex replacements. From left to right: Pentagon Aspis Vest in Black. OPS Minimo Chest Rig in Coyote. 8. So I have a PX4. I love the ergonomics, the additional back straps to fit to your hand. (Though the larger must be made for Giants and I am not a tiny guy). Shoots lasers, Trigger is nice for a double action. Rotating barrel is nifty and gives you the ability to adjust the hop without taking the slide off. Trigger springs are the main wear point on the PX4. I don't think the HK45 has any specific weakness. If you want a fairly unique pistol, I'd say the PX4 is a good choice. Better then let's say an FN57 which needed a fair bit of fettling.
  9. What is the financial compensation for this? You are not just asking for people to create content for free right?
  10. It is the creaky variety. Also the entire front end is held on weakly to the receiver. Really easy to break.
  11. Any photos of the Spas12? I can't find any reference to one
  12. I picked up an AA R27 because I happened to have been looking for one in the silver finish for a few years. Never did get around to ordering one from TG when we were able to.
  13. Honestly it's fine. Nozzles normally end up in random places. It's not a problem.
  14. I have had both. The Revenger series are perfectly fine, the Predators are quite a bit better with the extra features and fit adjustability. Both need to be washed at 30 degrees only as the colour does like to fade quite easily at 40. (I have owned three pairs)
  15. So loaded up with COVID to the gills (Actually it's my first time and it's not bad, though I hate not being able to taste or smell anything). I decided to do some BF Shopping. To complete a loadout I have been long waiting to finish. My Grey/Blue Tartan Contractor loadout. I already bought this a couple of years ago and LOVE it. I needed to get a Black Tactical vest to go with it as I only have a Tan Urtactical Chest Rig at the moment outside my French Surplus stuff. Pentagon Apsis Vest in Black. Helikon 1 Hole Balaclava in Shadow Grey Viper Bob Hat in Titanium Viper Folding Dump Back in Black All from Military1st with 15% BF discount (I have surprisingly never bought from them before) Invader Gear Revenger in Wolf Grey from Patrol Base. Should all go together quite nicely!
  16. Nominally it's Fire Support. And I think Zero One and Wolf Armouries have a hand in it as well.
  17. It helped when my tech put a large o ring over the end of the motorcage and then tighten the grip.
  18. So I made my first gun purchase in something like 15 months today. Just as a little present for myself. TM PX4 with spare mag. This is to go with my JLS RX4/ARX160 Italian loadout.
  19. Carcass and Death. Used to play covers of them in a previous life whilst touring in a Melodic Death Metal band. Crystal mountain was ace to play live!
  20. So I have kept this mostly quiet but I am a bit of a musician. At the moment I am listening to a lot of MOL. It's like if Deafheaven actually kept trying to improve on their first couple of albums sound rather then get cleaner and lighter. I love the mix of Minor and Major keys. Feeling depressed only to feel hopeful one riff later. Their album Diorama was last years most criminally underrated album in the metal world. BlackGaze forever. So confusing they named the song after also another fantastic band that is very much missed.
  21. I have Italian Vegetato Invader Gear kit, and they do wash out really easily. Stick to 30 degrees or less, turn inside out and it fades a lesser amount.
  22. None of these will be able to take my rifles. Yes, it would have to be inside some sort of structure. Out of sight and out of mind. It does not have to be secure. It's not too soon ? Our split was unrelated to Airsoft purchases ? This is the ideal solution, however, may be out of my hands as a-lot of London flats come already furnished and they don't want their furniture removed, many beds do not have drawers. So would rather have a different solution on hand. This is an interesting idea actually. I may need to consider this. Some of the rifles are quite wide and long though, so not sure if this particular one would fit them.
  23. Hello all. As some of you may know, my marriage ended a few months ago. It was foreshadowed for a while. My ex is buying me out, so I am going to be out of a 3-bed house into a very small, rented studio room/flat (At three times of the cost per month of my mortgage mind you). In preparation for this I have sold approximately 20 odd rifles over the past few months, I have 9 left, of which two will be for sale when tested. I have resolved to keep the remaining 7 (With another FAMAS being an eventual purchase, so will need room for 8.) I currently have boxes for 5 of them, plus lots of rifle bags. I want to be able to store them in my eventual room in the smallest space possible, so they are not on show, don't take up much horizontal room and not look too messy. So, bags are out as it is just too messy. I want the rifles to be stacked vertically in the smallest floor footprint as possible. It's bad enough that I have loads of gear as well that needs to be stored as well, but the rifles are the biggest annoyances. Any out of box suggestions? (The rifles I have decided to keep, because some people seem to like updates on what I have :P) TM Famas PTS PDRC ARX160 JLS RX4 E&L AKM LCT AMD-65 Silverback SRS
  24. Same. I sold mine for around 220 a month ago which was fully upgraded admittedly without a smart MOSFET system. Didn't exactly get snatched up immediately either. This is a rip off.
  25. Closest you'll find is Epsom Bunker, CAMO on Canvey Island or Hockley Arena. There is nothing inside the M25 beyond Bunker and the Tunnels. I wouldn't say any of these sites were particularly good CQB.
