Greetings an welcome to the forum , JFYI it’s Royal Marine commando or just Royal Marines , never ‘royal commando’ liable to get a tad bent out of shape if you miss name them(you wanna see the way they flip out when you miss pronounce there unit numbers , “it’s 4-2 commando NOT 42 ! that’s f**king position in the Karma Sutra !” Is a standard one ! 🤣🤣) any hoo as others have said if your going really ‘old school’ DPM go for an arktis NI chest rig plus a light weight belt kit , for more recent pre MTP your looking at a full belt kit and if more recent MTP/MC then as others have said Blackhawk/crye or any others ‘high end plate carriers will do .

At the price range your asking about near all the brands you’ll find on sale in the UK will generally perform about the same , it’s when the price starts climbing above your price limit you’ll start to see the difference in performance . So I’d say just get what ever you like the look off the most . 👍

I’m sorry @Louisd but EVERY excuse/reply/answer give to the justifiable questions you’ve been asked about the gun are quite farcical to say the least , apart from the fact it’s an SR ‘type’ gun there’s nothing about it that says it’s the G&P model , for starters there’s no trad’s on it of any sort ! Yet the gun in the airsoft tiger add you’ve used as justification for the claim is positively festooned with licensed logo’s FFS😳 plus when you come down too it even just in photos you can tell the difference in quality of materials used between a cheap’n’cheerful Chinese knock off and a quality piece like a G&P let alone when it’s in your hand ? PLUS if you do want to go down the “oh it was a simple mistake” excuse route then I’m sorry but with your claimed extensive sales history we would expect you of all people to be able to tell the difference between the two levels of quality when the gun was in your hands ? Testicles ? Or pig thick skin ? 🤔

I usually do most of my painting with gun still assembled , as others have said masking tape and bits of kitchen paper stuffed in holes works fine plus once I’m happy how it looks if I’m not wanting it to get scratch and rubbed or have the paint job damaged then I usually give it a couple of passes with clear matt lacquer to give it a bit of protection .

To be honest to me it now looks like one of the £15 flashing light , rat-a-tat tat toy guns my boys had when they where kids from Toys-R-us ! BUT who gives a shit what anyone else thinks as long as your happy with it bud .👍

Well having sent a miss described MP7 back to the seller last wk I can say my experience was the guy in the post office said it could have gone with either(was light enough) , I did question about shouldn’t it go PF48 but he said the latest T&C’s have eased up a bit so as long as I confirmed there’s no Gas or Batteries with it it could go with either .

Joking aside think it’s safe to say we’ve established it’s the gun that was sold by @strykerlesas a Cheap’n’cheerful bombproof A&K , BUT some how it’s miraculously metamorphosed in to a “ G&P GR25 Magpul PTS limited edition, a unicorn of a DMR !”(his sales pitch) and now ‘worth’ near triple the price the A&K was sold at ? that’s well out of order as far as I’m concerned and if @Louisdisnt able to provide a satisfactory explanation then sanctions are needed ?

And just to drop the rancid cherry on top of this festering shit sundae of a sale , the previously mentioned matching scratches on stock AND receiver .

Totally agree but when your only choice is a beautiful skin rapped around a bag’a’shite , it’s still a bag’a’shite no matter how pretty it may be ? Same as using a real gun as example , your never going to get an airsoft gun looking that sexy no matter how much you try so in the end your still on the last train to ‘disappointment junction’ wether you like it or not . Hence make the best of what you can get ?

If your in the market for something in that sort of colouring I can highly recommend the Arthurian Airsoft ‘Mordred’ , I have one and it’s an absolute corker of a gun and well within your budget so you’ve money for bells’n’whistles as well ?

If you can fire a TAG round out of it I want one , if not ? They can shove it up their Taiwanese poop shoots ! 😳

Basically what the title says , I’ve a couple of Hi-capa pistols(one WE and one TM) that are non functioning and would like them to BE functioning !😁 but as I freely admit I’m a total Neanderthal when it comes to the world of tech work I’m in need of assistance . Don’t want super dooper race guns or any of that Tom foolery just want the buggers too simply work , so am looking for some names . Cheers guys .👍
