  1. Oh so true , BUT I bet you purely by accident stood next to that cocky fecker(that every section had !) and when you did the canister swap drill you ‘fumbled’ handing him yours so he’d get a lung full of CS ? ‘Accidentally’ of course ! 😇
  2. Can’t be used with an S6 , only S10 and after . If you wanted a drink while wearing the 6 you had to get under cover , de-contam the top of your bottle , then the lower half of your mask then loosen the bottle lid but NOT open it , take a couple of good deep breaths then while holding your breath , keep your eyes tight shut , pop the lid , lift your mask , drink as much as you could in one go then discard the rest as its now contaminated ! 😳 Even though your using it as a replacement for the big old MAGlite I’d say ditch it as it looks sooooooo out of place with your loadout (which is a bloody good attempt by the way😉)and just run the gun with nothing just the irons . 👍
  3. Is the Velcro stitched or the sticky backed stuff ? If it’s the sticky then be aware when your playing the heat from your body will loosen the adhesive bond on to the fabric and I’m afraid it will come adrift .
  4. Is there an size label on the shirt and trousers ? 👍
  5. Your wish is my command oh cream crackered one ! ‘Guns’ is just about ok , it’s asking to see everyone’s pink or purple weapon is were it’ll go sideways ! 😵
  6. If your playing mostly urban/CQB I’d say yes 100% get one , as to how much to spend ? That’s up too you . I’ve got a shit load of helmets(have two sons who also play) some are loadout specific(example , a cheapo plastic PASGT for a Blackhawk down , a MICH for a task force black) plus LOTS of fast helmets ! most of which were around the £20-30 max mark . I do have a couple of ‘high end’ ones that cost well over £70+ but to be honest I find even the cheapest ones work absolutely fine for Airsofting as I’ve just not experiencing a high enough level of risk to warrant a high end or ‘real steel’ helmet , I’ve twat’ed my head on plenty of occasions been shot in the melon loads of times and god knows how many times I've dropped them but me personally I’ve never had any fail on me . I’ve got vented and un-vented fast helmets and I’ve never really noted much of a difference between them for sweating more or less the vented I always have covers on and the un-vented I usually leave ‘naked’ , as too glasses fogging more with a helmet again I’ve never noted an increase when wearing a helmet over a ball cap . So I’d say look at what’s out there see what you like and just get what you like , I’ll happily say the cheap ones are fine for Airsofting and you don’t need an expensive one , you may WANT the same one used by SEAL Team 6 3/4’s but you don’t ‘need’ it but that’s still fine it’s your money buy what you like just admit it and not try and convince me you “NEED IT !” 😆😆😆👍
  7. My take is while the conflict is raging 24/7 all over our screens it’s simply bad taste to wear Russian kit at the moment . I’ve got a fair bit of it my self but I’m just not going to wear it for the foreseeable future for this reason , I’m not going to burn it or say “I’m NEVER wearing it again in solidarity with the Ukraine !” or any of that kind of fake supportive bullshit , I’m just putting it away and when it all settles down again I’ll reassess how I feel and if I’m happy to wear it again ? I will . If anyone does carry on wearing it now I’m not going have a go at them(just don’t wear Russian military patches that would be a step too far) but equally I won’t deny they will go down in my estimation as morally I think it’s wrong but everyone has a different personal standard of what’s right or wrong so say’la’vie .
  8. AIRSOFT Cardiff have released their new business plan and fiscal prediction for 2022 .
  9. Nah some spunktrumpet of an Englishman and a couple of Poles . Up ya arse nobber !
  10. There’s an awful lot of lame ass excuses(“oh most players won’t recognise it’s Russian” or comparing the current invasion with the Crimea/Chechnya , saying no modern military is beyond reproach for their behaviour or everyones all time favourite “we’re grown adults shooting each other with toy guns !”) being floated to legitamize using recognisable Russian kit , err it’s really bad taste at the moment simple as that ? Russia is invading another country on live tv as we speak so not a stretch to say it’s very insensitive to wear it at the moment ? 6mths-12mth time ? Probably won’t be such a problem but now ? sorry your just an insensitive cock if you do wear it .
  11. What you can also do is strip the canister down till it’s just an ‘empty can’ as it were that’ll help a bit , but even with an exfog fitted I still guarantee you’ll be sweating like a pig in Mosque the minute you starts ANY exertion ! Believe me I speak from experience ! 🤣🤣
  12. Looks like there done for the local sites are starting to say how disgusting this is and how ashamed they are that Airsoft Cardiff are representing the sport in such a bad way and they’ve pulled their Facebook page too now . 👍
  13. Oh don’t worry I’m going to start telling everyone I know down this neck of the woods to boycott them ! gotta laugh they’ve now amended the post to say their going to donate 10% of the days takings to charity, woopdy f**king doo !
  14. Well it seems the number of Airsofters trying to get our sport banned through utter stupidity are now being joined by the F***ing sites they play at as well ! Their are no words to describe this . https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/airsoft-cardiff-ukraine-russia-conflict-23224443?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
  15. Probably is (does sound like it) hence mod’ed the gun as I can’t do much to the holster .
  16. Nah that really stretching it , there’s no one on the news at the moment wearing German kit invading another country is their ? I’m not saying “YOU CAN NEVER WEAR IT AGAIN !” or anything like that what I’m saying is turning up to a gameday in an authentic Russian loadout at the moment is a rather crass thing to do , yes a lot will not know the difference between a Spetnaz and an Albanian goathearder commando but some will and word will get around and it could cause a negative vibe to appear . It’s all about perspective , no matter what you wear someone could be ‘offended’ by it but when one country has invaded another and it’s all over the news as we speak is it really necessary to wear the aggressors uniform for the next couple of mths ? Sorry but that’s just an academic cop out used by people who won’t actually commit to a side in an argument or discussion and as such a load of bollox to boot .
  17. Simple question , in the light of what’s going on as we speak do you think it is or it’s not acceptable to wear obviously Russian kit on game days now ? Me personally I say no you shouldn’t wear it , yes you may have spent an awful lot of money on your load out but you’d have to be one seriously insensitive person to turn up at a gameday wearing your digi flora or gorka 3 kit when the people who wear it for real are currently invading a democratic country simply because the dictator in charge of their motherland wants to put the clocks back 40yrs . Please discuss .
  18. Better ? nope wouldn’t say so from my limited experience of it but is it ‘truly quality’ ? Now that’s a question for debate !😁 think it’s like everything else you buy you get what you pay for(but I’d also add the caveat that once you pass a certain price fresh hold I do believe your paying for the name as much as the quality) there are price bands that the products sit in , you’ve got kit that’s cheap shit and it looks it , then you’ve got the stuff that ‘looks’ ok but you know even in a Chinese sweatshop full of 9yr olds you just couldn’t make it at that price for it to be any good so they must have cut corners on it . Then you’ve got the biggest band the “looks ok , feels ok” kit and that’s where I think the likes of TMC/8Fields/1tigris/Nuprol/etc etc live , and from my limited experience I’d say Invader Gear is definitely in that band of kit quality . The next is a bit of an odd one where you’ve got the brands that are still Chinese knock off’s but your paying a lot more for it that the last lot , Flye/Emerson/Condor/etc live here , me personally I’m in the quandary over these brands as I do wonder do I buy these or do I pay that bit extra and move up to the next price range ? then you hit the ‘real’ kit when prices start getting(to me anyway)from “bit expensive but worth it I’ll treat my self !” to “nope sorry that’s a very silly price for Airsofting !” , you’d be a bit of a pillock not to realise this is the best kit you can have but if just a belt from a particular brand costs as much as a new pistol then I’ll stick with my knock offs thank you very much ! 😉 ultimately once you reach a price bracket it comes down to personal preference , you want to spend that much on a what ever ? Go for it but don’t make out you ‘had to buy it” no you WANTED to buy it just admit it , it’s your money you spend it on what ever you want .👍
  19. They do sit flush , that’s why I sanded barely half a mil off the bottom edge of the grips . Would have driven me mental if their had been a gap no matter how small ! 🤯 .
  20. Can’t speak for their full rigs but I can say their battle belts and pouches are really well made and from my limited experience of using it only real difference I’d say for our level of use(not as if we’re taking part in REAL op’s are we ?😁) compared to the likes of my Blackhawk! Or 5.11 kit is the weight , it’s a bit heavier as they’ve used single layer PU vinyl instead of multi-layer 1000D cordura to achieve stiffness to the gear .
  21. I’ve only lost 2 mags in over 20yrs of playing but both where from ‘soft’ holsters and I’ve noticed I seem to be drifting more towards those type of holsters again as apposed to molded Kydex ones so thought I’d get ahead of the curve for once ?🤔
