By the look of it I recon the RIS rail should ‘just’ about be clear of the stock but if not I also think you wouldn’t need to grind much off from the underside of the rail to allow clearance either .

Just to build on what the lads have said I had a rather pathetic low speed motorbike crash that resulted in 5mths in a wheelchair, several reconstructive surgeries on my Left foot and ankle full cruciate reconstruction of the right knee and 11mths off work AND the orthopod said the two probable outcomes I was looking at where either 85-90% recovery or sub 20% due to the nature of my injures and as he was leaving my bed side he casually threw out “oh by the way this was a one off fix as well , if ANYTHING happens to your ankle you’ll be loosing the leg below the knee !” And then casually walked off to his next patient ! So for the next year-18mths I was equally apprehensive/scared of the potential effect on my life in general if I did injure it again . So yea this whole thing had a hell of an effect on my Airsofting due to just the worry about potential injuries . All I’d say is listen to what others say but ultimately only you can come up with game plan your happy with , and I promise there IS one out there somewhere.??

Been using them for well over 10yrs+ have had one or two problems in that time with orders but always been sorted to my satisfaction(more than you can say about a lot of UK retailers) so I’m happy to recommend them as well .

Can totally endorse this recommendation , I’ve got one and it’s an absolutely awesome piece of kit . I bought it as a back up leave in the bag ‘just in case’ my other guns go tits up but recently when I’ve been able to actually attend a gameday I find my self using it all the time ! ??

All true points obviously I can only speak from personal experience once I got the cheapo set up and comfy (I did add some extra bit of padding) it’s perfectly fine . I wear my helmet all gameday as well but 90% of the sites I’ve been too none of the games lasted longer than an hr and then you’ve got anything from 10mins to an hr between games depending on what time of the day it is when your not wearing it ?

Thing is with helmets realistically how long and how often are you actually going to be wearing it ? Totally agree the FMA has a shit load more padding options than the Emerson BUT the Emerson weighs less than a nat’s fart and are you going to be wearing it for longer than an hr or so at the most when you do wear it ? I’ve got a couple of high end helmets and some REALLY cheap as chips ones as well , the expensive ones are really comfortable when fitted properly and you almost don’t notice them but to be honest the cheap ones are ok to wear all day as well they aren’t uncomfortable by any stretch of the imagination so happy enough wearing them as well . Plus with the cheap ones you have the added advantage of being able to have a couple for the price of a top end one so you can set them up for different scenarios and leave them like that and not have to keep changing them around as needed because you only have one lid ??

I’d just go on the classified here and pick up a couple of combat machines , the prices being asked 3grand wouldn’t last long ! ?
