  1. Okay wait why do you have 7 of the same gun? Always wanted to use a FireHawk. I'd assume they're quite easy to hold (maybe even dual wield the buggers!). Where do you keep them?
  2. Perfect time to share with us what you have in your collection!
  3. Exactly I don't have the money to keep them, so when I see something, I will sell it and buy the one I wanted. As I said though, I've reached what I want so I am pretty happy. Only thing I want now is a Vector, but I won't be selling my guns this time!
  4. Well, I share the obsession, but I've bought and then sold them *up until now*. I've finally got two guns which I am very, very happy with (primary and a secondary). Actually, more like 2 and a half guns... I keep buying parts so I will soon have 2 M4s, unintentionally. One thing I do notice though is that any money I get is gone in an instant! Always buying things for the guns. But at least I've stopped buying/selling them (I must have had about 7 last month)
  5. Any G&P M4 outer barrels knocking about?

They are actually rather cheap to buy overseas. WGC has a huge range of them for about £20-40 (depending on style).

  6. Gotta recommend IPostParcels for airsoft stuff - they have no problems and always deliver in like a day or 2 (even with their 72hr services). Used them 5 times (2 RIFs/rest accessories) and twice they've delivered in under 24 hours!

  7. When I had a front wired gun, I simply mounted a dummy PEQ box which holds a battery on one of the rails on the handguard. I then got the battery that would fit in to the PEQ, and just connected them (fed the wires to connect the battery through the slits in the handguard). Never had a problem. Yep, it is a good buy, pretty solid gun. It is an M4 platform meaning there are so many parts out there, you can practically replace anything and everything, be it for cosmetic reasons or performance. A vertical grip (I have one with a bipod inside - they're called 'gripods') is a pretty good attachment, but you may prefer an angled grip (I personally have both on my gun, so I can hold it however I feel like!). Mock suppressors really are just there for looks if you attach it on the end of your gun. Sure, it may make the 'snapping' noise of the BB change a bit (not by much) but it won't make your gun quieter (most of the noise is from the gearbox in the body of your guns). Pretty useful if you have an inner barrel which is longer than your outer - the suppressor can cover it. Suppressors just look badass, and you can achieve many different looks with them. Tighter inner barrel may give your gun a bit more accuracy, but I find it doesn't help too much, I wouldn't waste the money on one. Sure, there are also a lot of internal upgrades you can do, but if you don't want an increase/decrease in FPS or the ball ache of messing about with a gearbox, I'd suggest leaving it alone until/if something happens to it. Don't try fix what isn't broken, right? If your fine with the FPS, then leave it be. Minor things like adding deans connectors will give you a slight boost in your RPS (but seriously not by much - we are talking about an extra BB per second or something). I've done a bunch of cosmetic upgrades to my gun. In fact, I've nearly replaced every part of it meaning I could probably just rebuild my original gun with all the spares... You'll see things and want them for your gun as time goes on - this is just something that happens. Lots of things you can do, much more than I've mentioned here. Find what works for you performance wise and cosmetically. Find the perfect balance - make the gun YOURS.
  8. Anyone got an armourer's tool laying around?

  9. Anyone know how to price parts like complete M4 bodies?

I looked at the 416 receiver issue and realised some some other 416 front ends don't always align perfectly with others, then some have had receiver thread problems too. So even with my bits n bobs I said wtf and bought a £140 bi-8001 to tweak

Yeah Lozart, that is exactly what I meant by all parts :) Thanks for helping, it was actually the sort of price range I was expecting (the bloke that sells all the M4 parts estimated between £50 - £70 depending on condition). Ah yes, this is definitely an expensive mofo to me! Great bit of kit though. I basically bought it because of the handguard! I then found a similar one on eBay (it is pretty much the same thing but lower quality). It is pretty much complete aside from t...

...aside from the handguard which I am using for my new build, and maybe the grip, but I can just leave that on the BW15 and buy a similar one. Absolutely love the gun to bits, but I am trying to build a 'suited up' looking gun.

  10. Each time I near the end of my airsoft build, I always seem to find more, very expensive things for it! Damn it

  11. One thing I've noticed on here is that when you ask a question which no one really knows the answer to, majority on here will actually do a bit of searching for you in hopes of actually helping. I've asked a few things, and most of the time I get great responses with very useful links (if applicable) - Sitting Duck for example is a massive help to me. Gives me very detailed answers (even gave me pictures ) which is great. The lads on here are the friendliest bunch I've seen - as stated, ZeroIn has a few d*cks. I posted a link to a product I wanted to get and I just got a bunch of replies following the general layout of: "000mggg l0l you brok3 tehh rul3zzzz". I had no idea what the hell they were on about until a little while after. But yeah, this airsoft forum has the greatest community, and they really do try to help you out
  12. Anyone know where I can find the screws that attach the grip to the gearbox?

I would recommend getting some flanged dome head screws. They will hold the grip better.

There are "roofing" types of bolts m3 about 6mm or 8mm that will suffice as well, large flanged heads but flat head screwdriver. You need bolts not self tapping screws. M3 bolts

I use those screws myself they are perfect and hold nicely. A lot of the bolts are Allen key heads from what I found and it's much easier having a Phillips head to screw in than messing with an Allen key.

  13. Any idea who the guy with the flecktarn set up in the tractor picture is? Would like to ask about his loadout
  14. As mentioned, airsoft players love talking about their loadouts (costs quite a bit and it gives an opportunity to talk about what they've done). Another interesting way is to have a pretty interesting loadout yourself! Although this is quite unnecessary, it will still turn heads if you've got something that looks pretty unique (in a good way). Maybe a few will come over and ask about it, just like what you could possibly do with them. Once you start really looking into guns, you can see just how different they really are, which makes interesting conversation. Best of luck with you! I too have no friends interested in airsoft (they have decided to spend their money monster PCs for gaming, or drugs... The latter being the people I don't usually talk to anymore, why buy drugs when you can get airsoft stuff!). Sure, curiosity is sparked when they see my guns but the price throws them off. It is fine to go alone, but try to start some small talk or something - it is easy with airsoft players. Just walk up and compliment their gun :L
  15. And so the longest suppressor has arrived. Very interesting! Now just to wait for my stock!

May we see this mighty Suppressor?

  16. Anyone possibly interested in a T1 Aimpoint replica and suppressor package? Going cheap, need gone

I'd be interested in the t1 alone ? how much ?

Looking to sell it for about 25 but it is already packaged. Just need to send it out

  17. Yeah the G18C is a fun gun as well as practical. I bought it to enjoy using it
  18. Qlimax, what make was your G18? I haven't got to mess around with the slide to go from semi to full. Prof, where'd you get the nice gold barrel?
  19. Can you send empty Co2 magazines by Royal Mail second class? Or they gonna sieze it?

Alright nice. What should I send a gas pistol + 1 gas mag by? I was gonna use IPostParcels but their services are down.

I was going to send one by royal mail tracked, but no idea if that's the cheapest or best, just the easiest for me.

ipostparcels "seems" ok to me atm saying they 12% off summer sale etc...

I used to book it it all online, pay by paypal, then drop off at depot across from where I work that evening save money and 95% next day delivery - good value service I found in the past

  20. The mechanism is simple though. It was the first ever gun I had opened up, and I disassembled/reassembled it easily. Had never done anything like that before either. Just gotta note down what you're doing and then realise that there are videos everywhere after you've done it. That is my experience, though.
  21. So, I asked Tiger111HK a specific question about a product, and they replied with "thank here our site [website homepage link]". 11/10 for customer serivce, gotta say!

  22. Hope you're doing alright, Ian! Looking to buy a flecktarn loadout, anyone recommend good places to look?
  23. I've got the TM G18C and have no problems with the selector switch accidentally going full auto/semi. However, I don't have the stock parts as a lot of it has been upgraded, one being the selector switch. It is very definitive between semi/full auto. Despite what was said earlier about full auto being for girls, it is actually quite fun to play about with. However, some seem to not prefer having the option. It can function as a G17 would - just don't touch the switch. As for the mention of the weird KWA selector switch thing, the TM doesn't have it, in case you're wondering. You can select semi/full auto without having to keep the slide back. If you want a practical, but at the same time a FUN gun, then buy the G18C. Full auto with a 50rnd mag will put a smile on your face I do have a long list of upgrades on it though, but it fires fine out of the box. ALTHOUGH, if you do decide to get a G18C, then do not go the cheaper way and get a WE. They've been known to have internal issues with full auto and it can easily cause breaking (which is stupid). You'd be better off getting a TM, believe me. TM also has the GLOCK trademarks, if you're into that sort of thing. Polymer slide though, but uses less gas due to the lighter weight. A WE G17 is fine though because it doesn't have full auto to break it so easily. I agree, I personally see no reason to buy a G17 over and G18C. As I said, full auto is optional. So spend a bit more and have a lot more fun with it! I get bored of semi only pistols since I have had the G18C. Definitely not as fun. All that being said, using WE Glock mags in the TM is perfectly fine Bit cheaper too, but they work very well. Hope this helps EDIT: Turn the G18C into a smg with the CAA Roni G18C Carbine kit Can't see much point in doing that with a G17 because it is semi only. Or an APS kit, depending on budget. You have many options with a G18C
