I had an issue where my plate carrier was too big and didnt fit properly, I grabbed some foam plates off of ali express that fit perfectly and only cost about £8 delivered

I came into possession of a ngrs urgi in october and have used it in every skirmish since.
The lower fps is not an issue as this thing is getting incredible range for an aeg battle rifle, both me an my teck were gob smacked by this.
Buy one and leave it the hell alone and you'll have an amazing gun, do not get the fps upgrade (fps = failed player syndrome) you will reduce the longevity of the aeg and get no realistic performance boostas at shorter ranges the extra fps wont make much difference in the time it takes for the bbs to reach the target and at long ranges the bbs will be running out of momentum regardless.
Buy an ngrs, use it and enjoy it!
One if the best things about them is not having to mess with them to get decent performance

@Mad-Althat's a nice paint job on the SMG 8.
Cheers man!
First attempt at kryptek using the shooters designs templates, it turns out they dont stick to krylon massively well but im really happy with the results for a first attempt

Hi all, sorry gbb noob here.
I recently treated myself to a GE GBBR which i am aware is based on the WA system but im struggling to find G&P G mags for it, however i have been able to find GHK G5 gmags.
I know i would need to file either the mags or magwells to make them fit but other than that would those magazines work with the GE?
If not how hard would it be to make them fit?
I am aware both are based off the WA design but i dont know how well they will work with one system using the 45 degree hammer and the other a 90.
Thanks in advance!

Great use of the thorntail on that K, seen that used on a SD, looks good!
Cheers dude, the only issue is i cant lock the bolt open with it so i have to do a full rack when changing mags.
It wouldn't be an issue on an aeg though

Poor impulse control resulted in these arriving today...
6x lct mid caps for my hk53
1x golden eagle mc6595m
The golden eagle is actually pretty nice, this is extremely surprising given how cheap it is!
The stock, charging handle and flash hiders are hideous and so replacements have already been ordered.
The magazine isnt great while it holds gas (which is shocking for one of these) it unfortunately wont fire the final bb it sits too high in the magazine to trip the bolt stop but too low to be picked up by the BCG.

Personally id chuck the ar, you already have a selection of battle rifles and its airsoft so realistically other than ergonomics its no different to the scorpion whereas its your only LMG.
Just my 2 cents

Are you running it with a light or suppressor?
Suppressor but no light

I didn't even realise they were a thing, I'll have to try to track one down

Ive actually got a WAS universal holster and annoyingly the asg mk23 just isnt fitting.
The adjustable safakiland doesnt doesnt work with it either.
-
So I recently picked myself up a cheap used mk23 and an upgrade package for it but it doesn't fit any of my existing holsters.
I dont want to spend big bucks on a holster for it as buying a £40 holster takes half the point out of buying a cheap gun!
So what have you got that works for you?
Bonus points for solutions that work with battle belts.

Does it not flap about like an absolutely terrified salmon?
Nope, to my surprise the weapons catch actually holds it very firmly and just heigher than the centre point of the weapon.
I would say it flaps about as much as a moderately discruntled whale.

I run an mp7 as a secondary for my dmr and use a single point sling and weapons catch to keep it in place
It's not a rapid solution to deploy but its solid enough and out the way and allows me to change roles in the field, if you get rushed and need to switch quickly then this is not the solution for you but if you need to be able to switch to engage within MED for village clearance etc it works very well.
Mine actually sits extra proud as i have it mounted to a safakiland qls so i can leave it behind if im running a battle rifle

Hi all, ive done a stupid and lost the grub screw from my bolt release catch and its a different size to the fire selector one.
Can someone please remove theres and measure it for me please? As i really dont want to spend international shipping prices for a grub screw!
Thanks in advance,
Matt

A bit of a tm binge for me:
NGRS URGI
PTS EPM X6
Magpul M Lok handstop
TM Detonics .45
I must admit i fall into the finding NGRS "recoil" gimmicky faction but i cannot deny its out of the box performance!
The two things that i am surprised/disappointed by are the lack of guiselle markings on the rail system and the lack of resistance on the bolt release.
The Detonics is actually surprisingly good for the first few shots given its diminutive barrel length but after the first 5/6 rounds that quickly drops off due to the tiny magazines miniscule gas capacity but its good fun none the less and lets face it this isnt a RIF that you purchase for its effectiveness in a skirmish.
These are my first modern TM purchases and i must say I'm impressed, they perform excellently out of the box and feel great in the hand.
The plastics are excellent and nothing like the cheap rattly plastics of old.

Only £5 less than a brand new one full price or £30-40 more than from the retailers abroad what a bargain!
I know the warranties on airsoft guns aren't worth anything but are we really at the point of paying more to not have them?
Also these are currently 120 at patrol base, mental.
