  1. Just a heads up.

I no longer work with skirmshop, I quit some time ago, due to the actions and conduct of the 2 dutch shareholders.

Skirmshop UK, has been ran into the grooundup and they've renamed as skirmshop Ireland LTD (albeit trading as skirmshop UK).

A number of people seem to have had issues with them recently and tried to contact me.

I have no relationship with them anymore and, have no association with them, so am unable to help.

If you have issue regarding orders or being owed money, I suggest you contact them, trading standards or HMRC.

I'm struggling to contact them too.

I received wrong order yesterday, so I've tried to contact them by email, message them on their site and via Facebook, interspersed with multiple phone calls - nothing yet...

Not a complaint, but it is frustrating!

To add to this, as stated on the website and the FB page, shop was closed Friday until today, so playing catch up on messages across all platforms.

Understand chaps, thanks - and really not a complaint.

I was happy with the experience. Only mention the lack of comms post-purchase because pre-purchase they answered questions promptly and in a friendly manner. So it just seemed odd, in comparison.

As I said, I'd gladly use them again - no problem.

    Hi Buddy.

    Apologies your message was missed.

Reason being a few weeks ago you may remember an FB post concerning website down time, we recently switched both our website and email hosting, since then while our site hasn't gone down once and less people have had issue with spam either to or from us, we are still getting the odd ones being blacklisted, usually Gmail or hotmail, it's something we've raised.

If you're still after any info or got an issue, either raise a ticket on the site or just PM me here and I'll do my best to get back to you.

I don't think I have ever had a response to a query from them via email or Instagram, despite talking to @Hef Legend fairly often in the past on here. Real shame. They are very close to where I live too.

We're usually good with emails/tickets/FB, IG on the other hand is purely for advertisement as there is no sensible way to track messages, so we stick to other methods.

  4. So this TM is pissing me off already lol

Bought the PTS ring as advised and a Nuprol Bocca2 rail.

Issues, the GGB ring for the nuprol rail doesn't thread all the way on and the PTS ring doesn't fit inside the Nuprol barrel nut, not that it matters as it doesnt fit anyway! GRRRRR

    £60 wasted right there :(

Any had any success with the Nuprol rail if so, what wizardy was involved?

  5. Hey Guys,

I've read through this post and have to say it's great.

One thing I'm curious about and I'll apologise if it's here and I''ve just missed it, but I was wondering where I could get the correct barrel nut needed to fit an aftermarket rail in the UK? Also will the Nuprol series rail fit. I'm aiming to get a 9.5" Mk18 style rail to go with the CQB-r outer.

So far I've just swapped the barrel for a 260mm crazy jet, omega nub and TNT 50 degree TR hop. At 350 fps the thing slings 36's out to 60m like nobodies business!

    Cheers in advance

  6. KOA TM Recoil M4

Here we have my Tokyo Marui Recoil M4, which has had some work done by Sam over at Kingdom of Airsoft.

I've had the Rifle since 2016, but it has had less than 1k rounds through it, which is the reason for sale. I pretty much only snipe nowadays, so this rifle just doesn't get any use anymore.

    The internals are:

    BTC Spectre
    Edgi barrel and Rhop
Lonex Cylinder - TM Recoil Shock
Lonex Ball Bearing Sping Guide - TM Recoil Shock
    Prometheus 6mm Bearings
Lonex Gear Set - TM Recoil Shock

Full Kingdom Of Airsoft Service which is:

    "Gearbox Services:Recoil Service
A complete gearbox maintenance and tuning service, specifically tailored to the Tokyo Marui Recoil platform. Includes a range of upgraded components to provide a solid base for the most demanding
    upgrade packages.
    Includes the following components:
Custom Lonex Cylinder Head - modified to correct the Angle of
    Engagement perfectly
    Airlab Sorbothane Pad
    Custom FLT 6mm Steel Bushings
    Airlab Viton Piston Head O-Ring
    "

    The rifle includes

    5  x magazines

    Aimpoint T1

    CTR stock

    PEQ box

    1 x lipo battery

    Magpul style grip

    MBUIS,

Rifle works as well as you'd expect, but needs to move on now as I just won't use it anymore and I have other projects I'm interested in.

Due to the size of the item and value, this will be collection on from Lewes, East Sussex. Considering the cost of all these parts new and the difficulty on getting the BTC spectre, I think £480 is a fair price.

Swaps wise, I'm interested in some gas rifles:

    TM M4 MWS package

    VFC HK416 A5 package

  9. I've been speaking to the chap over at G.H.S.T Tactical and literally just had my Multicam JPC turn up today. Awesome quality!. Came with soft foam plates and cost me about £34 delivered in 48 hours. If you're in the market for some MC stuff or a JPC, this is a bargain:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GHST-Tactical-CTR-Molle-JPC-Vest-Plate-Carrier-Multicam-MTP-Airsoft-/162239316738?hash=item25c6378302:g:CpwAAOSwCGVX~jkV

Works out each cheaper then the 8fields/Emerson/TMC ones from Poland too.

    Enjoy :)

  10.

It probably does, judging by Google maps it can shoot over 100 meters, but the measurements are probably not accurate.. I'd probably get even better results using a PDI barrel, I'm currently using 500mm A&K brass barrel.

Ahhh ok, Barrel wise I'd highly recommend an EdGi. Customer service is great and the quality is very good. Expensive, but they'll do all sorts such as porting, crowning, extending the hop window etc

  11.

What's your hop set up? My L96 (if google maps is correct) can shoot slightly beyond that range, using a r-hop and a bridged flat nub with .40G BB's. I'd be seriously impressed if it was a stock hop-up unit set up.

Your L96 should be hitting a lot further than that if you're shooting close to 500fps.

My old Stock Warrior with a few DIY mods could hit near those ranges, let alone an upgraded.

    Not a dig, just curious

  12. I am going to get one printed out as well. It could be good for a laugh.

lol good man, I'm trying to hunt down the Goblin shells. May go to goblin direct, do you want me to see if I can pick a load up for both of us? Failing that, we could politely ask Sp00n if he could tweak a version to take the PPS or APS CAM shells :P

I think these would be fun at the mall :)

  13. Well, my new kit is in, and looks great. Only issue is that I was sent the wrong shirt; Nomad instead of Highlander, like the rest of the uniform. But the two are so similar I am not going to bother replacing it. Love the camo, feels great, and is nice and cool (comparatively) for those blistering Florida days.

Also rocking my VFC XCR, which is sadly going to be retired soon. She's currently in night mode; with my XCortech all set up as well as a NVG optic co-witnessed with my Eotech 552 and an IR light/laser combo. For day battles the NVG is replaced with a 3x flip to side magnifier, and my GoPro(s) and Mobius are installed on the buffer tube and Eotech.

My custom VSR stock arrived today, so look out for some pics in the near future as well! :)

    What NVG is that?

  14. Ordered From them this week and today my package turns up.......it's the wrong item FFS.

I had ordered the folding stock adapter for the VZ.58 and received the non folding variant...which clearly states that it's the none folding one. So how they managed to pick an item up which has it's name on it and put it in with the invoice which has the name of another item on it is beside me lol

Just called them, so I now have to send the item back and pay for postage.....Then if they have the item in stock I can have a replacement or if not a refund.....Why is it I've made 3 orders from UK suppliers with 2 fuck ups.. Yet in the last 12 months made over 10+ orders with EU companies and not had a single issues?!?! GRRR!!!

So in essence, I've literally just given someone £40 for the pleasure of sending me something I then have to send back costing me a further £5 so that I may potentially get the item a week later out or a refund and end up back where I started. No real apologies offered, no "sorry buddy have something off your next order or some loyalty points etc".

Used this company twice this year and so far they have a 50% F*** Up rate.
