  1. UKARA membership isn't a licence - it's a way of easily proving a defence for buying an RIF. There are other forms of defence so please try to avoid calling it a 'licence' as it gives people the wrong idea. UKARA is not a government body.

Taiwan Gun are well recommended. They have their own thread in the 'places to buy' subforum - it's always worth searching the website first as your answer is kind of in that thread already: They'll put your UKARA membership number on the outside of the box and Border Force will verify it upon entry, so make sure the address matches up with your registered UKARA one.

So long as you've done that then you'll be completely fine.

As for your second question: Well are the same everywhere so Poland is good too. Again, be sure to make the retailer put your UKARA number on the box. As a side note: I owned a Well L96 and it required a lot of upgrading to get it skirmishable; it's not as common to get parts for this became pretty expensive (had to get a lot of the upgrades from PDI, who are not a cheap manufacturer). If you have a budget and care more about performance than how it looks then perhaps consider a JG BAR as they're more documented and slightly cheaper to buy parts for.

Also, quick answer questions like this have their own thread which tends to get viewed much quicker and also keeps the forum clean if there's no need for discussion: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/22692-quick-questions-simple-answers/page-39

In regards to upgrading the L96, Airsoftpro.cz have a load of great upgrades for nearly all models/brands of snipers and they cost a lot less than PDI too.

  2. Most sites are 450 or 500.

I suggest you do your own research first on how to upgrade because no, it's not as simple as that and I'm not inclined to explain it all here when it's so well explained on these forums and others.

I echo what Hef says about a VSR clone though: Look into the JG BAR if you can't afford the TM VSR.

Just to backup what Poffrink is getting at, the upgrades I listed will let you use the rifle at that FPS at an alright performance level. But to make the same point as Prof, for a true performing sniper build there are pages and pages of guides on upgrades/mods/tuning etc which are worth reading to get the best out of any rifle.

  3. Get yourself a VSR clone and airsoft pro parts. Trigger pack (includes trigger, spring, spring guide and piston), then Action Army hop.

Failing that a well/warrior with a few parts will do too. Namely barrel, bucking and chamber.

Taiwangun is your best bet, cheap, good service, no tax and arrives in 3 working days usually.

  4. In regards to PDI parts, I'd go with the action army stuff. Which is what I've done in my current build.

Depending on FPS/setup, the world is your oyster. For 330 FPS guns, I'd stick a Tanio Koba barrel in it. Anything higher, 6.03+ would be good.

Hop wise, teh action army chamber is brilliant, just assembled mine yesterday :)

  5. Hi Guys,

I'm potentially looking at selling one of my P* Jack setups and wondered what sort of value it would be worth.

    G&G GC16 MOD0 30th anniversary Edition
    Polarstar Jack (V2 Edition)
Ninja LPR + 36" Braided Line In Red (optional extra)
Retro Arms Speed Trigger (In Red)
    Retro Arms Selector (In Red)
    ZCI 6.02mm Stainless Steel Barrel
    ZCI Prowin (CNC in red)
    ZCI 12" Keymod Rail
Maple Leaf Bucking and Omega Nub
Big Dragon Butterfly Aluminum Cocking handle
    Element M16 Tactical Target Grip
    Stock Grip
Visionking scope & Mount (Optional Extra)
    supressor (Optional Extra)
    bipod (Optional Extra)
    paracord (Removed)

This gun was all put together myself as part of a DMR build I documented on here for a while.

After a rough price on this with and without the optional parts.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to sell yet, I've seen some other parts which tickle my fancy and may be looking to change.

Can take more pictures if there's interest.

    Cheers

  6. I wonder how much airsoft sales have dropped since the EU sparked all of this, I'm sure lots of people have held of on purchases in case they get told that everything they own is illegal or some such nonsense.

I personally have held of on buying a new RIF, pending any news on this.
