where to begin ....... people that sell second hand stuff that's broken or will break when the new person uses it , idiots that buy HPA because they have been told its the best , and they have no clue how to operate the equipment (been at chrono and the marshal asked the guy to turn down the regulator ..... he then asked the marshal '' how do i do that ?'' General shit talkers , with subjects that relate to RS firearms or gear they have watched on a YouTube video dickheads that use ghillie suits ... and don't follow the principles of camo and concealment, using heaviest ammo and only getting 50m shops that dont give the correct advice for new people , and just use them as a sale pallet sites player marshals any airsoft team that has the following words in there name , or associations to ancient history, Spartans, hoplite , immortals , guards , wolf , dog , dragon, phoenix , headless chicken squad names nicco any youtube video that is set up like a call of duty commentary with hit markers and killfeeds and music any event that uses ai images to advertise an event, that goes for shops too obnoxious geardos idiots that have go pros , on everything call signs for team members anyone that turns up in a german ss uniform un ironically or not at a ww2 event people that dont know the limitations of there equipment too friendly regulars .... people that think there regular site is there personal toy box and complain when they lose walts people that played about a years airsoft , equate that to them knowing everything , and telling you the best gear and upgrades to use10 points -
Blue? If you mean the old R134 type duster gas, I'd suggest you ignore that advice. In the good old days, there were an enormous amount of people who swore blind that anything more powerful would blow the slide clean off ANY TM pistol after less than half a mag. They've been proven wrong multiple times but more to the point, it's a HiCapa. If it breaks there's a myriad of manufacturers making replacement parts for it. Slap some green gas in and go nuts.6 points

Not even 24 hours, and I chose the cheapest delivery from patrol base. Galvatron, you were right. No threaded outer barrel. It's still gorgeous though, can see why people rate it highly. Have to resist the urge to gas it up and fire it. The mags for the ssp2 fit it perfectly as expected. He better appreciate it. 😆5 points

Player marshals may or may not be effective, but they are not cringe, which is also the case for many of the items in that long list. I have acted as a player marshal from time to time, but always in collaboration with non-player marshals. The role is useful for keeping an eye on behaviour within teams.4 points -

As a dickhead who uses a ghillie suit, this one actually really resonates with me and I totally agree (though I've been using civvie loadouts recently to make sure I keep the skills sharp as if I can hide in a hawaiian shirt, I can hide in actual camo); if I had my way, I'd say that you need to use a bolt action to use a ghillie, or a DMR if you're wearing a cobra hood, not a hood with a cloak; cobra hoods are head and shoulders only and people seem to willfully misunderstand that's what those are. But the number of ghillies that I see who basically just walk around with either some sort of HPA m4, or their bolt action rifle slung and never used with a mk23 loaded with .48s that they shoot people up close with...4 points

Firesupport https://www.firesupport.uk/ If you are looking for great prices on Tokyo Marui and other products or you are looking for upgrade parts for your AEG, Shotgun, GBBR or GBB Pistol then Firesupport is the place to look. We stock over 16,000 products, we have over 200 different brands on our system. We try to set prices to be competitive with other shops or better. We have an amazing tech called Ian , he has a great knowledge of airsoft guns and parts needed to upgrade them. We only recommend upgrades that we would do personally rather than sell a load of parts that would make no difference. We sell, repair, upgrade and service all airsoft guns except HPA and some low cost Chinese models where spare parts are impossible to obtain. Emails are usually answered within a few hours and bar a few exceptions within a day. Most days the phone is answered quickly, however occasionally there are some days we have less staff at work and there is not always someone available to answer the phone. We get some great reviews on trustpilot https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/fire-support.co.uk and facebook https://www.facebook.com/FiresupportShop/reviews?locale=en_GB reviews. If you need original parts for your gun that you can't find anywhere and its a brand we deal with then we can special order direct from the manufacturer, the prices will be higher but that's dues to high postage costs, even on a part that does not cost much. We try to deal with people as we would like to dealt with, returns and refunds are usually dealt with quickly. All the products we sell on our web site that say they are in stock are actually kept in stock in our shop. We do not have a "European Warehouse" where products are ordered in when sold in our shop and you have to then wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. Products are usually despatched within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of the day they are ordered. Occasionally we have a stock error (maybe once a week) where we then contact the customer and can change the order, refund the missing item or provide a full refund. Need it quickly then you need to choose the Next Day service and order before 12pm and we post it on a 24 hour service the same day. We get regular deliveries of products and loads of new products every year, over a 1000 new products have been added to the web site in the last year. Please see for latest updates https://www.firesupport.uk/new-products/latest-updates.html broken down by supplier and date. and for what's new see https://www.firesupport.uk/new-products/coming-soon.html broken down by what's new with a category per month. We are here to help. Frank2 points -

Indeed; there is nothing wrong with pallets per se. One of the best sites that I have ever played at, the much lamented Doomsday, was constructed almost entirely of pallets and was utterly magnificent. it is also provided me with one of my biggest surprises ever at an airsoft site; I was crawling through the undergrowth when I suddenly found myself literally face to face with with a rather large billy goat. I think he was as surprised as I was; we both exited the scene.2 points -

Does it have the clamp style fitting for the pic rail? The “female” side that the securing bolt goes through may be upside down, causing it to not sit properly on both the optics body and the pic rail Ive sorted that on a few of mine when they arrived, just by turning it 180deg to correct its locating2 points -

very good site and very well run. Averages 90 to 120 players every game and enough doors, path, stairs and other ways to move around without any bottle necks. Combat South have a express shop on site with everything from AEG's, Pyro, BB's Gas, torches, rigs and everything else in-between. Shop is open on the Saturday before a game day as well. Food truck on site selling burgers, hotdogs, drinks etc. Make sure you have boots with ankle support and a torch and tracer are a good idea as some bits are dark. I'm normally helping out in the shop, a bit like a shop dog, but spend my time breaking peoples guns and making up lies about how good a bit of kit is but that's ok as no one understands what I'm saying because of my Glaswegian accent. In you get there in November pop into the shop and say Hi and I'll show some good places to get a sneaky kill or 2.1 point -

Honestly don’t think it has been touched at all. If it had been tinkered with, without the VFC tool, I think there would have been scratches all over it. Pretty sure a QC issue from the factory, but how it could have got out being that wonky is beyond me!1 point -
Similar for me. I loaned a friend (not a regular airsofter) a really cheap but skirmishable M4 I had set aside specifically for that purpose. I put on a dot sight for him but he lost a lens cap without saying anything and when I asked, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and didn't do so much as offer to pay for a replacement. He later wanted to borrow one of my more favoured Hi Capas but I refused. I don't think he's worked out why. The only chance I would loan any of my guns to randoms is that they pay a deposit for the value of the gun and its accessories so they have that financial incentive to treat it with some semblance of respect. Even then, I'd only loan anything that's not a daily driver or especially favoured by me.1 point

Trying to single out the cringiest things in airsoft is a bit like pointing out the lemoniest part of a lemon. Still, the brief has been set so I’ll try… The Compensator. Desperately masculine, loud, edge-lord, every morale patch is practically peeling itself off it’s own Velcro to tell you, your mates, anyone near you, that this guy, this guy right here is not someone you want to mess with. Nevermind the fact that he’s playing with a toy gun, just because his boss talks down to him and his wife doesn’t respect him, YOU should know what you’re dealing with. Every sentence starts and ends with swearing and you’re gonna hear it, oh yes mate you will, no matter how far away from him you try to stand. Brought your young kids with for the day? Well this is a man’s game, it’s not his problem they hear grown up talk and he’ll just swear a bit louder to make sure they fuckin well do. Scene of crime officer. You cross his path, both bring guns to bear, your hits land milliseconds apart. It’s a trade, you can both be in and out of spawn in less than two minutes. Or so you think. Mr SOCO wants to stop you in your tracks, he hit you first he claims and before you can utter the first syllables of ‘yeah mate let’s just call it a trade’ he’s already describing to you moment by moment what just happened to prove, at length, that you are wrong. You walk away back to spawn. You think he’s still there, telling someone else who happened to stumble past him and who is now considering a BB to their own head just to get away. Clique-Ops. These guys showed up together, they’ve got squad patches and identical uniforms. You’ve not seen them speak to anyone else all day. You got lumped in with them to balance the numbers. ‘Alright?’ You offer as your opening gambit before the round starts. One of them glances shyly at you, the rest proceed to ‘mic check, mic check’ before continuing their conversation that excludes you. The klaxon goes, they make a beeline in the opposite direction to the objective whilst you resignedly set off to move a jerry can from one oil drum to another by yourself. You finish the round covered in BB welts and cuts. Your team has lost. You scored the only points. You see them back at the safe-zone celebrating how well they played.1 point -

This actually happened. Guy behind tree: "Push up lads!" 2 minutes later: Guy still behind tree: "PUSH UP LADS LETS SEE SOME AGGRESSION - SECTION ATTACK NOW!" 2 minutes later - he grabs a bunch of new players after trying to rope me in to it all and proceeds to explain to them a rough section attack. He then watches them try it and all get hit and then goes back to the tree. ENDEX Guy still behind tree: "We lost because we didn't push up."1 point -

I find people who criticize others for blanking their faces in pictures cringe. Having spent a long time in in house recruitment for some pretty massive and well known companies, you'd be amazed at the things I've seen used for not hiring someone, so a picture of them holding a "gun" isn't something id want to be tracked back to me. I like the pics etc, I just don't want them tracking back to me. Likewise sometimes it's a great picture and I'm just pulling a derp face that ruins it. I mean, how ridiculous would it be to have my career derailed and earnings reduced just so that my face can be in pictures from when I'm playing toy soldiers. Also, people who are so "not competitive" that they actively do things to be not competitive, like bright gun/gear or talking down people who do put effort in, especially when they aren't effective players themselves. I'm there to have fun and my version of fun isn't being a moving target,1 point -
