Hi, just discovered Airsoft. We fired a few at Operation Market Harborough tank show and decided to visit our nearest venue which was outpost Chester. Had a great time, and ended up coming home with the Poseidon thesus M4. Will definitely be going back soon, and will likely a be adding a few more to our collection. Already own a fair few airguns and paintball co2 markers. (25ish) But don't tell the wife.... Looking forward to learning from you lot on here. Thanks. Rick 50, Andy 14.3 points

- FOR SALE

For Sale is a converted JW2K double barrel shotgun. There is a bit of a story behind this one, and it took me about 8 months and literally days on the phone to customs and excise to get it through. Its essentially a converted JW2000 shotgun, full steel, hammer cocking, fully indestructible. Converting a shotgun into airsoft is illegal in the uk. The way that this is allowed in this case is that it was factory converted before it was ever officially a shotgun, and importantly it was done outside of the uk as a uk factory wouldn't be able to do it. So same build quality of a real shotgun, same weight, same feel but it was never a shotgun, its airsoft factory built. As you can see in the photos there are milled cuts under the handguard into the barrel in front of the shell and plastic sleeves in the barrel mouth. If a real shell was ever loaded it would blow your supporting hand off and destroy the gun. Customs were happy with this and sent it through. Comes with a couple of shells to get you started. The extractor is a bit fiddly as its designed for real steel and my shells are cam870, the rims are a bit beaten up, I'll have a look and try to come up with a solution before I send her Im selling as I'm stepping back from airsoft a bit and selling off some of my collectors pieces in order to fund other irresponsible hobbies. Happy to post anywhere, postage should be around £15 uk. If you have any questions please don't be shy.900.00 GBP

Look up your attachments in the profile area https://airsoft-forums.uk/attachments/ I am guessing that like me you got close to the quota maximum The two solutions are to go through and delete old unnecessary ones that are just wasting your limit, or to minimise broken links in the forum would be to edit the relevant post with a scaled down copy while you delete the large copies2 points

Good luck with the upgrade, but please, please, please don't change the externals, finding a Stoner 63 without picatinni rails is rare (in my experience). Better still... Take the easy way out and sell it to me before you spend money on it.😉2 points -
Advice on value
Galvatron and one other reacted to ButcherBill for a topic
Unfortunately condition on a mid range rif doesn't really add to the value, advertise it at the price you're happy with taking into account postage (approx £15) & pp fees, if it doesn't sell first time keep trying and consider reducing the price each time. Most rif's will find a buyer eventually, price is usually the reason it will or won't sell first time round. And read the rules for sellers.2 points -

Should I get rid of the candles and hooded robes...? Your initial post was five years ago, on a niche aftermarket kit for a niche platform. After almost three years you came back again asking for help with the niche aftermarket kit for the niche replica (Even more niche in 2025 due to much better SVD options readily available) and then your final post (Before this one) was again asking for advice on a pretty specific setup which I assume not many people have done - Especially as you was asking for the longest inner barrel when most would look for shorter in something like a GBB SVD. You haven't done anything to contribute to the "community" or be engaging here other than seeking help and then throwing a fit because nobody answered 🤷♂️ As our glorious cult leader Tackle said, anything Air Gun related isn't permitted (Even in the Off-Topic section, it's an AIRSOFT forum) which most of the community is aware of - however upon checking the rules @Tackle I didn't see anything specifically mentioning no air gun talks, could be worth adding? This is probably the best community platform for Airsoft to be honest, it's upkept and maintained and has staff that actually do look after the site. The members are great here too. I'm sorry you had a negative experience and nobody helped you with your SVD questions. For the WE I would highly recommend the Heavy Recoil Club discord server as there's a wealth of information for them there 🙂2 points

Also once you buy it and sell it on you loose the benefits of Brand New ie no guarantee. If you buy it then sell it unused its still second hand so 2/3 rule applies, maybe a few quid more but certainly not anywhere near new price.2 points

Your post wasn't deleted, it was hidden & locked, there's a difference. While I appreciate you were trying to give people a heads up, anything to do with airguns, sales or discussions, isn't permitted here. There must be better suited forums for airgun discussion, Facebook pages, or even YouTube reviews you could post. Just not here. & no, its not a cult, just an airsoft community, many projects are discussed here, loads of advice given, but there are some specific rules, which clearly you're not following. Its not rocket science🤔 PS your other posts, the ones you claim to be ignored on, are all pertaining to the same cheap rifle/upgrade you were having issues with. Could it be that no one here has tried to do the same "upgrade" with the same kit, & therefore didnt feel qualified to confidently advise you on the best course of action ?. Four posts on one subject (IN 6 YEARS😏) isn't a great example of you trying to "engage" with the forum, in fact it just shows that you expect the hive mind to be here for you, as & when you need them, & clearly not the other way round. Maybe you're right to give up, although I don't know how we'll manage without your input 🤣2 points

Seems like it began today however I can only upload images with a file size under 105.64Kb which is tiny. To upload an image taken from my iphone I'm having to scale the image down from it's native size to 190 x 143 pixels just to be under the file size threshold. Is this a new implementation or just a bug?1 point

Airsoft site in London which is approved under UKARA
HZR13 reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
As above. I don't think there are any sites in greater London since Bunker 51 closed last year so you'll need to look further out. Where abouts are you from?1 point -
In all likelihood you'll have to search further afield of Greater London. With a premium for leasing/buying property or suitable woodland, running an airsoft site in London isn't sustainable. Bunker 51 closed down a few months ago. It's worth checking this site out: https://playairsoft.uk/map It's not an exhaustive list but there are options just outside Greater London accessible by public transport and a shortish taxi journey away (I assume you don't drive).1 point

Cooperman26 reacted to Tommikka for a topic
…. Annoyingly I don’t seem to have particular props in my photo galleries @Cooperman26 I would recommend that you take your dynamite to your local, they may be willing to blow them up with some checks, but I’m more inclined that they would be willing to use them as dummies … or you could end up running your own themed game1 point -

Cooperman26 reacted to Tommikka for a topic
Commercially, there is very little scope on the profit line on individual sales let alone the up front development & testing I wouldn’t think that it would be worth it for an aftermarket add on, but there could be scope for lookalike pyro. The issue I would see is it being a nieche item for a smaller market - but there are wide ranges of pyro for different purposes For player enjoyment there is the scope for reusable prop pyro. A few decades ago there was a small very expensive market, nowadays there are various choices and sites / organisers have access to enthusiastic people with ideas - the dynamite you have made is perfectly valid for use as a dummy prop It could be used in two ways without having to go bang itself 1) as a non functioning dummy 2) as a device that remotely controls pyro (effectively fireworks control systems) My gameplay began using the former, and we decided that we wanted to run our own games (or more precisely the site owner called our bluff and gave us a date in the calendar) We didn’t manage it straight off, but we wanted things that function, and began to ‘better’ our props — bumping into an ‘almost original’ member brought us the right man with the skills to put ideas into effect and have ‘real functioning’ props operated by players (or in a couple of cases ‘almost functioning dummy props’ that we watched them use while pressing buttons in our pockets (He fooled me with one device that I handed him a toy laser rocket launcher to modify - he just used it as is to be pointed at a reflector and used a remote detonator in his pocket)1 point -

To find it I searched "Airsoft excalibur m4" on google images, most brands will stick something on the side to distinguish their model or a serial number on the trigger guard. Then it's just a case of matching up items to results, in this case the handguard has 3 bolts which I looked for 🙂1 point

Cocha reacted to Cooperman26 for a topic
I’m not saying I’m gifted when it comes to creating things but today I had a thought. There are many different types of one use pyro, and reusable, on the market and I like things that go bang. I found a gent, http://www.youtube.com/@FulcrumAirsoft, who has some fantastic ideas and designs for reusable pyro, especially towards a WW2 theme, which I think is fucking brilliant! I’d highly recommend giving his channel a watch and visiting his website. But it got me thinking, I’d personally love to see some more single use ideas based towards any theme. Which is cheap. I today have mocked up some very basic “dynamite” shells, based loosely on the British PE No2 explosive during 1940s. A very rough a crude production with any thin cardboard rolled into a tube shape (mainly cereal boxes) then rolled up in grease paper and some strimmer wire as a fake looking fuse wire. These happily fit a EGMK5 or the shorter FBS MK5/4. Only one used per trio. Or would be perfect for the FBS maroon sappers with a firing box. It’s mainly a one use “shell” which if created properly, by someone with more able than me, could be a great gimmick.1 point -

TM P226 Metal Upgrade
KirbyHCI reacted to MistakenMexican for a topic
The prime (PGC) kits were the gold standard back in the day. It’s worth checking with some of the Hong Kong retailers if they have one squirrelled away somewhere. if not. Guarder. the guarder P226 kits are fine*. I’ve fitted a few in my day and they’ve all been good in the end. *as long as you’re a decently experienced tech with a lot of patience and a very good dremel kit. It’s lots of sanding, refitting, checking alignment and repeating every fraction of a mm. I’d recommended the guarder enhanced spring set as well.1 point -

Where to get an Elite Force CO2 Tri-shot Shotgun in the UK?
Austeyr reacted to SixOfDiamonds for a topic
It's a bit of all of the above tbh. Here's what I was planning to do with it 40k Darktide has a semi auto shotgun (yes I know it has a pump on it, doesn't get used in game) Wanna try recreate this, got plans to make the Arbitrators shotgun as well using a golden eagle 870, as that is pump action. General shape lends itself to how this one looks, gonna rip the stock off and build my own around the buffer tube. Been cackling at that for 10 mins straight, good one ?1 point -
