Cheeky little PMAG which is actually a USB battery pack. Takes up to 3 18650 batteries and powers my fan glasses easily. You can fit a couple of 5.56 rounds in the top as well if you want it to look more legit.

Had another great day out at Apocalypse on Sunday, been a busy week so only just finding the time to write it up. Was a busy day, with a larger than usual crowd, the marshal team from Worthing were visiting and I can only assume a few of the players from Invicta were there while the are closed to relocate. Took the newly upgraded, by the site tech Ricky, DMR'd LCT G3, newly acquired WE Apache MP5, backup Cyma MP5 (incase of breakdowns) and trusty Sig 226 as a secondary. First game was domination, 3 locations, the team holding 2 at the end won. I took the G3 and SIG into this game and used it purely to bed in the G3, went down the bottom of the village and picked off the other team as they advanced from their spawn. Really enjoyed the DMR game and held my spot well, moved a couple of times as I kept getting lit up by AEG's but they didn't have the range. Went back to the range after 500 rounds to adjust the hop and scope and it was shooting very well, lots of range. Second game was move your bomb to the other teams base. I picked a shady spot to the side of our base with the G3 to pick off the other teams advances. Played well and a couple of our teams guys were luring the other team forward while I picked them off. Different play style for me as I usually only take a pistol into these games and run with the bomb. Went back to the range and adjusted everything at the end of the game and the G3 was comfortably hitting targets at the end of the range, exactly what I wanted. Third game was capture the marshal. The marshal went and hid on site, you had to grab him and take him back to your base, if you let him go he could run. Took the GBB MP5 out for this one. The other team found the marshal first and took him back to their base. I ran out of ammo in the first ten minutes as I got carried away with the Apache and 140 BB's didn't last that long so dropped to the SIG. I got tagged pretty quickly and walked back to re spawn. On my way back into the game I spotted the marshal we needed to capture running towards me, I gave chase and caught him, dragged him back to our base and kept a very firm grip of him until the game ended surrounded by most of the team. All in a great day, good verity in the game play and the last game was an epic moving BB fight with a very quick marshal that could have gone either way. A few people (morons) wandering around the safe zone with mags in guns understandably got the Marshall team het up. A few grumbles about non hit takers and overkill but I didn't see that. Overall very happy with the day, site was great, game play was aggressive but fair from both teams and I think I have my weapon selection and upgrades sorted. I need to find some better (non fogging) eye pro for stationary DMR'ing as I was fogging up badly at times.

A very high point was having the rare privilege of handling a real one courtesy of Jonathan Ferguson at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. Low points frequently included the machine doing what I told it to do, rather than what I wanted it to do! 🙃

Just make sure you include "full metal" in the description 😁 I just went on faceache and had a recommended post from the NAF. It was a post detailing what's ok for bbs, campfires and pyros and the number of dumb "but what about...." questions was ridiculous

Where to start? Cyma never did a MP5 SD6 in their platinum range, It's priced the same as new, Listed as new but isn't by their own admission, Last but not least the classic of saying it's had upgrades but no mention of what or by who

Stuff that's great for speedy bois includes being able to hero dive. It's not just against the rules, the floor had been made slightly more abrasive to make it much more difficult. Lots of hard walls make it an unwise choice also unless you want to risk a concussion. The idea that tactics can't be applied is utterly untrue - you just have to change the tactics that didn't work before or regroup and strategise for the next game. As kindly as I can say this, you may need to think outside of Blackstone. The range is part of the White Sphere shop as much as it is part of Blackstone CQB and offers people an opportunity to test and tweak their RIFs and accessories on off days between games when their living arrangements may not give them that luxury. RIFT Airsoft currently runs at two outdoor sites so having a ~20m indoor range helps somewhat. Spawn and respawn points have been mixed up on occasion, both of which were on the ground floor and objectives were partly on the first floor. Tweaks in both the build/maintenance of the site and the game modes have been made over the past few months. They've also done pistol & shotgun/pistol only days once a month. On those days, the use of drum and adapted rifle/SMG mags with pistols was prohibited. I can't say I agree with the idea of allocating one set of stairs to each side for a game as you risk adding to choke points whether it's a team being reluctant to push forward or a dead player being delayed in returning to respawn. Sometimes a dead player needs a second option for stairs so they don't hinder their living teammates. My intention wasn't to rubbish your experience, it's just that some comments about the site have become outdated as things have changed since very early this year.

That only works if upgrades actually fit and work in it... HFC thought it would be great to clone the TM then make it completely out of spec so fuck all fits... It's why I have to keep buying M190s every so often to cannibalize for parts to keep it going 😂 Definitely selling it well...

Not as fancy as a lathe but this arrived in the post today. An S&T 1903A3 listed as a wall hanger as it slamfires, as wallhanger is fine by me it'll be hanging on my wall. p.s. the grib wall is new too but I meant to order the chrome instead, hey... ho!

I do love the way they try and say it's used, but it's not really Used y'know. It was only one game day m8, basically fresh out the box. I didn't actually field it, I just gave it a soft lil kiss on the forehead during lunch break, no more than that I promise. No I don't have pics of the internals, why do you ask? It's lived a charmed 168 hours with me, it's been treated better than a wagyu cow.

At a stage where I'm happy to share the progress on this. China Lake 40mm grenade launcher. It will be a 3+1 40mm pump action grenade launcher. Externals are pretty much done and just waiting on some parts to make progress on the internals. All 3D printed in a mixture of ABS, PLA and Wood filament. There are a couple of parts that I'm going to CNC in metal (looking at you pump arms) but the 3D printed ones will be good enough for testing.
