It's funny with GBBs because it'll be an MWS "fully upgraded" with terrible aftermarket parts and run worse than stock.4 points -

Guys, im gonna say this one time, play nice, no name calling etc, & here we judge people by their conduct HERE, not on lesser platforms in years gone by. The ignore option is there for a reason, ive got a few members on mine, suggest if you don't like or agree with someone's opinion, block them so you don't see them & feel the need to get in to a row.2 points

Because there are no "shady practices". I don't run business that way. The "patch" aka this kit, which I ran for about 6 years with no issues either in person or online until HRC, weird. I only put that together because I found the K98K. You can complain about anyone in the Frontlines Airsoft Discord too who also do historical kits, who are a great bunch of guys. Yeah I made some comments about that too, look at the rules about the server and how militant and childlike they are. Never had any issues anywhere before, or since, and certainly not related to the way in which I conduct business ? HRC has its own reputation, and its not just coming from me. I'll leave it at that, as this has far detracted from the original point of this thread.2 points -
Brushless motors
PopRocket123 and one other reacted to Lozart for a topic
Funny you should say that, I have the same motor and a Titan in one of my builds! If you want the ASG/Ultimate motors are still good, if you don't want to spend that much on a brushed motor then the XT motors from @ak2m4 are good https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/motors-parts/xt-high-torque-motor-28tpa-long-fan Brushless wise, I have one Solink Lite, one XT Brushless and a couple of Warhead motors. The Warheads are good, but I would say wait for the new ones from Redux and see what price point they're at if you want to go that way. The Solink is good but not as efficient as I would like from a brushless motor.2 points -

Case in point was the chap selling what he claimed was a fully upgraded Ares Honey Badger yet he didn't know what had been upgraded internally. It was then pointed out to actually be a Double Eagle model and the "upgrades" he eventually listed were questionable. I think he was duped from the person he bought it from originally and tried saving face by selling it on to recover some of his losses.2 points -

In my experience, when someone claims “fully upgraded” it’s far from fully upgraded, they just lack the knowledge or inclination to realise that. The second option is they’re trying to scam people by selling something largely stock as “fully upgraded”.2 points -

Eh, ups the rate of fire a bit, and can be useful on CO2 or in really hot weather on propane. Absolute arse in winter though, because there's less pressure to cycle it. It's why you see folk with tuned 50 gorillion RPM Hicapas just gassing out in winter because they copied a build for competitive indoor play in tropical Taiwan.2 points -

How do you define "competitive"? I was able to outplay opponents running guns from £800 to £1000 while I had a ~£110 P90 until I decided to spend more money sorting out its trigger. Is there one feature you're dead set on having that is present in one gun but absent in the other? That may be your deciding factor. Reliability is relative. Every brand of skirmishable AEGs does its odd bad apple. I'd say reliability is much better today than when I first played donkey's years ago. I reckon that's owed greatly to the market being so competitive that even entry to mid-level products are made to higher standards and have features you'd only have seen toward the top end of the market.1 point -

Hey Ben, quick business tip: VFC products are manufactured in Taiwan and ProAct is their primary wholesaler in-country. So much so that you can special order any VFC part off-catalogue and they'll send a guy out to collect it from VFC. Products imported to HK have wholesale deals but are still paying for shipping and then a little bit for the shop itself. WGC and the rest are great, but there's a bit of extra being put on there to keep their lights on. It makes a lot more sense to buy from Proact on a wholesale account using large orders as previously mentioned. You can get some great deals that way! Hope this helps you grow your business.1 point -
I’ve had through my hands (at last count) 10 MP9’s, most of which were broken, so can make decent list of stuff you will need at some point. I’ll go through your list first: Part 153 (disconnector) - yes, very much needed. The main MP9 point of failure! Part 151 (hammer release) - not seen a standard one break, but if you get a steel hammer, then get this too WiiTech piston head - yes, but double check this doesn’t need to be used on the WiiTech piston chassis. Part 25 - not seen a broken one, I wouldn’t bother Nozzle springs - yes, get 2 sets! My recommendations: TNT Barrel set - so much better than the KWA hop unit WiiTech Steel Hammer (part 26) - standard ones snap at the sides, sometimes will still function, but best to change to steel. Plus it’s a pain to change, so get this and only do it once! WiiTech Steel Action Bar (trigger bar) - I have one on mine and makes the trigger pull much better WiiTech 130% Recoil spring - MP9’s can have issues if they don’t fully go into battery, this will solve that A CowCow/LPE/WiiTech piston head. Anything over the standard KWA piston head. They dry out and crumble. Beware there are 2 different sizes of pistons and piston heads, 14mm (orange) & 15mm (green), so work out which you have. If you already have a WiiTech nozzle I’d get the WiiTech piston chassis. The WiiTech nozzle will destroy the back of the chassis eventually. Also the WiiTech nozzle is very difficult/almost impossible to change the valve on…. Hope this helps. Enjoy the MP9, it’s such a little beast ?1 point

EMS shipping is significantly cheaper than that. On a 10KG order from Taiwan, I paid less than £45. A single rifle is going to be less than £30.1 point

Brushless motors
PopRocket123 reacted to Lozart for a topic
There's a few brushless motors on the market now, some are wank and some actually work well. The better ones have ESCs that will work with airsoft ETUs properly, are way more efficient than brushed motors (so less battery drain) and in most cases offer far higher torque at a given RPM. The good ones are still expensive though so if you're fitting an ETU anyway you can usually get away with a decent brushed motor.1 point -

@Klesin, what are the rifs you're selling ? I ask as this sounds like a lot of aggro for something that might be easily available either in the USA, or shipped in from a far east retailer, silly tariffs from the ?man aside lol.1 point

Chronographs - any cheap recommendations?
Punisher3990 reacted to Shamal for a topic
I do have access to a makeshift chrono. It's called the wife. Now,depending on how loud she yells or how hard she punches me after being shot in the butt,I can roughly determine how hot or not a gat is running. Use this method at your own risk.....?1 point
